    The growth of vehicle every year give impact to traffic intersection performance. Various resulted by traffic impact arrangement of intersection which is not optimal for example is vehicle queuing, traffic jam , rise in delay  time and also increase travel time. This research  is conducted in one of Major Street in Surabaya, at Ngagel Jaya Selatan street which intersection between  Ngagel Jaya Selatan  and Ngagel Jaya Street. In this research, the analysis by using Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia ( KAJI) that program is program share released by Directorate of Urban Road Development (BINKOT). From result of analysis by using KAJI program, got intersection performance at condition in the morning reside at service of level F with queue length is equal to 1531 m, mean number stops of vehicle is 1,23 stops/pcu and mean intersection delay is 195,83 sec/pcu. In the day time happened queue length is equal to 1483 m, mean number stops of vehicle is 1,50 stops/ pcu and  mean intersection delay is equal to 151,01 sec/pcu with level of service is F. In the evening got queue length is equal to 2458 m, number stops of vehicle is 2,35 stops/pcu and mean intersection delay is  306,71 sec/pcu with level of service

    The objective of this research is to know characteristics of bitumen binder mixtures plastic of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) powder. This research was done in Highway and transportation laboratory of Civil Department, Tadulako University. Percentage of Polyvinyl Chloride powder content based on weight of bitumen. The percentage of PVC powder in bitumen are 2%, 4%, 6% and 8% respectively and comparison with properties of bitumen without additive material. The properties of bitumen include the following: the penetration value of bitumen, the Ductility value, the softening point value, density of bitumen value, loss on heating of bitumen, flash and fire point of bitumen values.The result of this research indicates that the Polyvinyl Choloride powder in bitumen between 2% to 8% still enough for spesification except on ductility properties of bitumen values. This implies that, increment the Polyvinyl Chloride in bitumen potential influence on asphalt pavement include stiffness and brittle of mixture

Amount of soul victim pass away counted 29 people (15,10%), hardly injured 76 people ( 39,58%) and lightly injured 87 people ( 45,31%) the root cause accident is motorbike 48,10% and car 33,38%.Component of traffic type which often involve accident is motorbike driver with road street defector. The other cause is motorbike with car. The time of the biggest traffic accident is happened at 10.00 - 14.00 WIB

    This research aimed to find out heat transfer rate between cooling air supply and clinker in grate cooler ofcement industry. The method used field survey with two datas. Primary data by direct measure in researchobject and others from control room. Then for the secondary data, we got from manual book of company.Grate cooler was divided into 3 sections, and the analysis performed for each section based on the principleof heat transfer through a porous medium to obtain the heat transfer coefficient, and the rate of heat transfer.Heat transfer of clinker to the cooling air was analyzed by convection and radiation. The result shows thatthe highest convection heat transfer occurs in section 2, while the highest radiation heat transfer occurs insection 1. Total heat transfer in the grate cooler is 95185.936 kW. This result will be smaller than thethermodynamic analysis, with calculation difference of 2%

    Water availability for various need are decreasing qualitatively and quantitatively, while on the other hand, water demand is increasing, thus, water management problem always occurs. This phenomenon is also found at Palu Groundwater Basin, Central Sulawesi Province, especially at Palu City. The distribution of groundwater potential, which has the spatial and temporal characteristics, caused insufficient domestic needs at Palu City. Thus, according to the problem, the research objectives to analyze groundwater potential based on groundwater characteristics on each hydromorphology units.The research method is survey method as a basis for spatial and ecological analysis, with landform and geology condition as a basis to determine groundwater sample point. Data analysis method in this research consists of: the analysis for field data and analysis for hypothesis testing. Field data analysis consists of technical analysis to determine hydromorphology units. Hypothesis testing analysis are done according to research objectives based on spatial and ecological analysis, and integration of geomorphologic and geologic approach.The result of the research shows that: groundwater potential level based on groundwater characteristics are at alluvial plains hydromorphology unit in Alluvium and Pakuli Formation, which distributed from high – medium. The research findings shows that Palu Groundwater Basin are one of the groundwater basin in Palu Basin, formed due to geological structure (Palu Graben), the Palu fault (sesar). The inflow boundary is located at east and west of Palu River, which is from bent slope of structural hills, the Gawalise Mountain and Tanggungguno Mountain.
