    One of the PAD potential, which has not been deeply observed is retribution collection of parking area, whether on the road parking or on the parking area. The result of this study is showing that there is a promising potebtial from parking area of three of hospital observed as source of income if assumed that park is a time required by vehicle to enter and exit a long of 5 minutes, the income captured from these three hospital park areas will be around of Rp. 1,025,500,-/day or Rp. 369,180,000,-/year. But, if assumed that park is a time required by a vehicle of about 10 minutes to enter and exit, then the income resulted will be Rp. 971,000,-/day or Rp. 349,560,000,-/yea

    Water supply system provided by Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) plays an important role in fulfilling local citizen’s needs, both upper-middle and low classes of the society. Basically, water supply system involves three stakeholders: the users (the customers), the management (the company), and local government as a regulator. As a user, customer’s main concerns is the fulfillment of his/her needs with affordable price, whilst PDAM as the management aims to gain profit. In the other hand, local government aims to keep the balance between supply and demand while seeking growth in its income.Currently, water supply service in Palu is only accessible for those from upper-middle class whilst the poor cannot access the service due to its high tariff. The issue of the need of equal access to the standardized water supply system, that at the same time is affordable for every citizen, consequently has emerged. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a study using Ability To Pay (ATP) and Willingness To Pay (WTP) approaches, taking into account the society’s real expenses and water supply system’s existing tariff. In subsequent, the subsidy for low-class society can be calculated.The population of this research consist of 408 households, spread into four districts. The primary data was collected by administering questionnaire using simple random sampling. Interviews were also conducted in order to gain more insight into the data. Secondary data was collected from PDAM Donggala and some other institutions. The data was analyzed using two techniques; first, ATP technique with household’s expenses approach; and second, WTP technique by taking user’s (customer) perception into consideration. The results showed that 75% of those who allocating 5% of their income to pay the PDAM’s bills had the ability to pay more than the tariff, whilst only 40% of those who allocating 3% of their income had the ability to pay more than the tariff. It is also appeared that none of the respondents were willing to pay more than the tariff (which is Rp.1450/m3). Further analysis showed that 47,3% of PDAM’s customers were able to subsidize to the poor, as their ability to pay (ATP) were mosre than Rp. 1500/m

    The purpose of this study is to observe the effect of sulfur on changes in mechanical properties of bitumenas a binder material. Usability research is expected to be preliminary information in estimating theadvantages and disadvantages of asphalt concrete when using material added sulfur.This research has been done in the Laboratory of Transportation and Highway, Faculty of EngineeringTadulako University, Palu.The scenario study was conducted with the manufacture of bitumen specimens with variation of sulfurcontent of 0.0%, 2.0%, 4.0%, 6.0%, 8.0% and 10.0% by weight of bitumen samples. Value mechanicalproperties of bitumen binder under study include the value of penetration, softening point, specific gravity ofbitumen, bitumen Flashpoint and Ductility. Method of inferential statistics (t-student test) at 5% significancelevel used to determine the effect of adding sulfur to the bitumen on the mechanical properties.The results of this study found that the addition of sulfur into the bitumen on the variation of 0% to 10%affect the mechanical properties of bitumen such as penetration, softening point, penetration index (PI), thespecific gravity of asphalt, asphalt ductility and Flashpoint. The study also found that the sulfur contentranges from 6% to 10% in bitumen tends to produce bitumen penetration index (PI) is positive (PI> 0) whichmeans the asphalt is less temperature susceptible

In this method, the flatten load is calculated using tables and the point load is calculated with formula and table.The result shows that by using formula 1,2 MD + 1,6 ML of combination load, the maximum encumbering values were obtained for Mlx, Mly,Mtx, Mty.From the reinforcement calculation, the reinforcement of field in x direction use Ø 12 – 150 mm and for the fulcrum use Ø 12 – 150 mm. In y direction, reinforcement of the field and the fulcrum use Ø 14 – 150 mm. For the convenience, The reinforcement with Ø 14 – 150 mm is used for x and y direction

    HEC-HMS is an hydrology model  for use in analyzing a watershed system in order to predict the hydrologic response of the system to a user defined rainfall event. To obtain the optimal parameter value, HEC-HMS model must be calibrated by adjusting model parameter values until  model results match historical data. This research would try to calibrate HEC-HMS parameter model in Bengkulu Hulu Watershed. Parameter values are adjusted by the search methods and the hydrograph and objective function for the target element are recomputed.     One of the main component of DC power supply is filter, which consist of inductor and capacitor, that has function to smooth out the ripples voltage so that it can be obtained stable pure DC signals. There are four types of filter with the same input condition analysed in the research, (1) inductive filter, (2) capacitive filter, (3) L-form inductive filter, (4) π-form capacitive filter. The obtained result indicate that capasitive filter output voltage is bigger and more stable than inductive filter. The biggest output voltage (9,21 Volt) and smallest ripples factor (r=0,0003) are resulted by π-form, capasitive filter. In the certain range, the greater of capacitansi value, the smaller of the ripple factor and the output sinyal is more stable
