The aim of this article is to investigate heating value of candlenut shell Char briquette by experimental andtheoretical means. The experimental performs the High Heating Value HHV by Bomb Calorimeter PARR12611, and investigation in the theoretical ones by using Dulong’s formula.The result shows that the heating value of HHV is 10697,4 Btu/lbm, and by Dulong’s formula is10549,Btu/lb. PENENTUAN ELEVASI PERMUKAAN AIR BERDASARKAN DATA SERIES TINGGI TEKANAN AIR
Series data of sea surface elevation is required to determine the parameters of tidal and wave parameters.The series data on sea water surface is irregular waves which are a superposition of several regular waves.Therefore, water surface parameters are usually based on statistical parameters. Statistical parameter ofwater surface can be obtained by performing frequency analysis on data series of water surface elevationobtained by field measurements. The water surface elevation can be also determined by converting dataseries of water pressure obtained by pressure sensors. In this paper, the water surface elevation that has asmall oscillation period is calculated based on two methods i.e. method of linear wave theory and methodTransform Fast Fourier (FFT). The water surface elevation that is calculated by using linear wave theorymethod is converted directly from data series of water pressure that consists of hydrostatic pressure anddynamic pressure. FFT method has two steps to convert water pressure to become water surface elevation.First of all data series of water pressure is fragmented into several regular waves based on their frequencies.Secondly, In order to reduce errors, water level fluctuations with high frequencies are removed from the databased on the maximum frequency that can be recorded by the measuring instrument. The maximumfrequency is determined by applying a deep-sea conditions and the depth position of the pressure sensor.Data used in the calculation is data from LIP11D experiments conducted at Delft LIP11D Hydraulic. Threedata sets of water pressure were used to compare the water surface elevation of direct measurements withtwo water pressure conversion results using linear wave theory and the FFT method. Results of analysisshow that the water surface elevation obtained by the FFT method gives good results when compared withthe results of direct measurement
PENERAPAN KEKANGAN MULTI TITIK DALAM ANALISA STRUKTUR
The paper presents the use of an algorithm to apply constraint to a governing system of simultaneous equations. The method consists of the implementation of the constraints directly on the system of simuitcineous gouerning equations prior to the solution operations. By the application of the method, problematic aspects such as possibility of the enlargement of the coefficient matrix size, or possible “ill-condition” of the matrix, can he avoided.As a by-product, the met hod can also be used as a tool to compute for support reactions. KAJIAN HIDROGRAF SATUAN SINTETIK NAKAYASU UNTUK PERHITUNGAN DEBIT BANJIR RANCANGAN DI DAERAH ALIRAN SUNGAI KODINA
Analyse of the design discharge in the catchment area can be used by some methods, one of them is Synthetic Unit Hydrograph Nakayasu. In this method applying need presumably studied so that result got well enough. The Synthetic Unit Hydrograph Nakayasu try applied in catchment area Kodina in Central Sulawesi to look for the level of deviation of Synthetic Unit Hydrograp Nakayasu with the measured unit hydrograph. Modification of Equation of Synthetic Unit Hydrograph Nakayasu conducted by degrading basic formula the time peak (Tp) from value Tr and peak discharge (Qp) from equation T03 in the form of value α (discharge coefficient). As the result of research show happened by the big enough deviation to nature of the basic unit hydrograph of namely for the Tp = 26% and Qp = 22,40%. So, Synthetic Unit Hydrograph Nakayasu cannot be used direct to calculate the design discharge in catchment area Kodina. It’s required research of a kind to Synthetic Unit Hydrograp Nakayasu to look for the coefficient from value of Tp and Q

This analysis aim to obtain variation of bearing capacity of soil foundation for the same case based on methods is Terzaghi, Meyerhof, Vesic, Hansen and Ohsaki. And gets comparison of bearing capacity value from some the methods.Method Terzaghi and Ohsaki to have bearing capacity value of soil foundation which approximately equal. Method Hansen and Vesic also has value tending to same, only Meyerhof having different value x'self. For incline load, method Hansen, Vesic is tnding to same and just Meyerhof tending to value differs in. But method Hansen and Vesic at various foundation breadth ( B) at foundation square and circular that is B > 0,5 m happened decrease of bearing capacity of soil foundation and at B ≥ 1,5 m increases returns to its the value
