PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN POLYPROPYLENE FIBER MESH TERHADAP SIFAT MEKANIS BETON
Polypropylene fiber is the fiber type of plastic (polypropylene) which is a special production with high technology. It is a chemical compound with the formula C3H6 hydrocarbons in the form of a single filamentor thin fibrous tissue shaped nets with a length of 6 mm to 50 mm and has a diameter of 8-90 microns. Thesefibers can be used to improve the performance of concrete.This research aims to determine how much influence the addition of polypropylene fibers on mechanicalproperties of concrete (compressive strength. split tensile strength and flexural strength). polypropylenefibers used doses of 0; 0.40 kg/m³, 0.60 kg/m³, 0.80 kg/m³ of concrete, which is made on the type of concretef'c 20 MPa with the value of water cement factor (FAS) at 0.53. Calculation of mixed concrete plans usingguidelines DOE (Department of Environment). The research location at Concrete and Building MaterialsLaboratory of the Faculty of Engineering, University Tadulako Palu. Specimens made as many as 72 piecesof 60 cylinders (D15 x 30 cm ³) and a beam of 12 pieces (15 x 15 x 60 cm ³). Specimen testing performed at28 days.Test results obtained fiber concrete compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength, higherthan normal concrete. Compressive strength testing of optimum values obtained at doses 0.60 kg/m³. with anincrease of 3.62% compared to normal concrete. From testing split tensile strength and flexural strengthoptimum values obtained of each at doses of 0.65 kg/m³ and 0.58 kg/m³. For the split tensile strengthincreased 20.44% and flexural strength increased 11.26% compared to normal concrete. Keywords: polypropylene fibers. mechanical properties of concrete
ABU BATUBARA SEBUAH KONSEP INOVATIF BAGI PRODUKSI BATA ABU ABU UNTUK MEMPEROLEH KEKUATAN TINGGI DAN AMAN TERHADAP LINGKUNGAN (A Literatur Study)
Several experiments have been conducted by using Fly Ash and some similar materials, such as lime, sand, gypsum, quarry dust, Fibre Glass for Bricks-making, which generally aims to get a high-strength brick, and safe for the environment. Fly Ash classified as a B-3 waste is a coal combustion residue generated from burning coal in Steam power plant. Because Fly Ash contains SiO2, Al2O3,P2O5 and Fe2O3, the levels are quite high; the nature of its cement characteristic (pozzolonic) is very good for the use of construction industry. In this paper Fal-G brick production process, uses of rap-trap bond in Fal-G brick masonry prism test study and from the economic point of view it turns out the use of hollow block Fal-G can saveconstruction costs 20 to 30 %. KUALITAS PELAYANAN DAN LOYALITAS PENGGUNAAN OJEK SEPEDAMOTOR SEBAGAI ANGKUTAN UMUM PENUMPANG PERKOTAAN
Limited access to Public Transport (PT) to serve the needs of PT urban population will lead to the emergence of alternative PT. Limited access PT is partly due to the limited size of the geometric road and thelimited range of PT services. This generally occurs in the cities of Indonesia and one of its effects is theemergence of alternative public transport passengers is ojek motorcycles. Ojek Motorcycle(MC) appears dueto user response to the needs of PT and tends to consumer increases in Indonesian cities. How the user'sperception of the ojek MC service and whether the ojek MC still needed as part of the urban public transportpassenger? This study aims to investigate the factors that affect the quality of service and loyalty to the ofMC ojek transport as urban passenger public transport. Survey has been done in Bandung city and datacollection by questionnaires and interviews directly to the user. The analysis was done with the approach ofthe causal relationship between the factors that influence with method of structural equation modeling(SEM).The study shows that the convenience factor/flexibility, time, Accessibility, safety and driver attitudes providea strong reflection to service quality of ojek MC. Factors pollution caused by the operation of ojek MC doesnot reflect the quality of service. While the indicators: it would continue the use of modes and wouldrecommend the use of other modes to give a good reflection of the loyalty. OPTIMASI AKTIVATOR DALAM PEMBUATAN KOMPOS ORGANIK DARI LIMBAH KAKAO
The purpose of the study is to determine the ability of the composting process composting time to examine the relationship to temperature, pH and levels of C, N, Ratio C / N, P using EM4 activator, MOD 71, sheep dungon cocoa waste biomass. The working principle of the study is to observe and analyze the decomposition ofbiomass wastes cocoa to different activators and observe the process of composting process variables for 7,14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, and 56 days with the analysis of temperature, pH and analyze levels of nitrogen (N),Carbon (C), Ratio C / N, and phosphorus (P). Results were obtained in accordance with the optimizationpoint of the graph N, C, Ratio C / N, and P. Then connected to the SNI table, suitable compost is compostactivator biomass using EM4, at 28 days with temperatures 54.88 0C and compost maturation is the 56dayof temperature 28 ° C with a pH of 7.46.Keywords: Biomass, activator, EM4, MOD 7
PANEL BETON BERTULANGAN BAMBU SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF BAHAN KONSTRUKSI
The use of natural materials for construction purposes should be developed. Special reinforced concrete construction, in some cases, the compressive strength is not a determining factor, but rather ductility. On the other hand, bamboo is a natural material has a ductile properties sufficient to be used as reinforcement. For this type of bamboo lear, some properties that are important to note is the compressive strength , σ//= 39.89 MPa, σ┴ = 5.55 MPa, Shear strength is 7.644 MPa and tensile strength is 207.523 MPa. In addition, the physical properties of mortar material used is weight of contents of cement is 1.25 gr/cm3, weigtht ofcontent of sand is 1.60 gr/cm3.From the test results it can be concluded that the test samples for concrete mix bamboo panel with division 1 cement and 4 sand did not change significantly so that the maximum load obtained for testing age from 7 days to 21 days also resulted in maximum load that is not much different. Thus the utilization of bamboo reinforced concrete panels for the purpose of the wall can be done, although it still requires further development
ANALISIS PROGRAM LISTRIK PEDESAAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS SOSIAL MASYARAKAT DI KECAMATAN DOLO KABUPATEN SIGI
Utilization of electric energy in rural communities will encourage increased productivity in agriculture and services sector, and stimulate growth of small and household industry the rural electrification program became one of the priorities of development in this decade. The importance of public knowledge aboutelectricity that includes productive activities, educational activities and social activities, especially in village of Langaleso Sub District Sigi Dolo done by studying the level of public understanding about electricity, know the effect of availability of electricity in rural areas of the knowledge society will be electricity, and evaluate the success of electric program countryside that have been implemented by the government. This research was conducted using methods through field surveys and interviews in the village of Dolo Kecamalan Langaleso to get the data (1) associated with general information and people, (2) information on economic and social activities in rural communities in question (3) the influence of rural electrification on the pattern of community life. Electronic procurement is expected to be done in an efficient and effective, transparent, accountable and provide equal opportunities for all contractors to be the winning bidder. Descriptive analysis method used in this study, by using contractors who attended the auction on LPSE UNTAD as respondents.The results showed that various problems faced by portrait contractors, among others: the ability of the limited human resources, hardware and software readiness is low, poor data base systems, supporting data is incomplete.The resulting recommendations, among others, (1) an increase in capacity building to all relevant parties, (2) the availability of infrastructure to support electronic procurement system, and (3) allow all parties can access the documents to see the complete contractors that has been in an effort to load up the procurement process transparent and competitive so as to provide equal opportunities for contractors (4) continuously shaped discussion forum involving all stakeholders

It has built a simulator traffic lights to set the length of time the light is green, yellow, and red on a two-way street. Setting the length of time the lighting is made on the C language program listings using the software (software) proteus to solve traffic management problems. In traffic control simulator output variable is the length of time the green light for two lanes. The output obtained from the listing program using C language software to be used as reference data in the creation of programs to determine the duration of the green light. The amount of electricity bill payment of Universitas Tadulako in recent months has increased to between Rp. 240.000.000,- and Rp. 260.000.000,- per month. This bill payment increases three times compared by the average of electricity bill payment in period 2009 - 2010. Based on the monitoring and measurement results of the electricity load in surrounding Universitas Tadulako, it is found that the increasing of the electricity bill payment is caused by the unbalancing of the load consumption pattern such that resulting in lots of losses, so many electricity consumption in out of the work hours and there is a substation that uses the government group electricity rates which should use social group electricity rates
