    No full text
Lead (Pb) is pollutant that found in canned foods which derived from the soldering between the can and the lead. Copper (Cu) is one of material which one tin packaging can be oxidized and dissolved in acidic foods. Pb and Cu are not dangerous at lowest but it can cause botulism in gross. The storage time can affect the solubility of the metals. The purpose of the research is to know levels metal Pb and Cu in fishes and sauces canned and compared with limit BPOM. The limit of BPOM in canned fish for metal Pb is 0,3 ppm and for metal Cu is 5 ppm. The steps of the method are optimization the method of destruction and the measurement using Atomic Absorption Spectrofometry (SSA). The result shows that the storage time  give effect to the greater of metal Pb and Cu in fish and sauce. The content of metal Pb in all sample exceeded the limit of BPOM. The content of metal Cu in sample A does not exceed in fish and sauce. The first month of sample B does not exceed, but the sixth month up to the twenty fourth month exceed the limit of BPOM in fish and sauce. The precision in all the measurement have on average  <2 %, it  shows that all the measurements are good repetition. Keywords: Lead , Copper, Atomic Absorption  Spectrofometry, fish, SauceÂ

Data security is very important data needed to stay awake in strict confidence from hacker intrusion or criminals who want to steal the data. Data security methods that are used in this paper is a digital image encryption by using a modified Hill’s code which is done by changing the way of encryption. If we are using Hill’s code then matrix pixel multiplied is the key matrix while on the modification Hill’s code before the key matrix then the matrix is multiplied pixels must be added to the results of the main diagonal elements of the matrix times key. The results obtained in the process of digital image encoding indicating that the image is encoded with password modification results of modified Hill's code more mixed reviews when compared to the image that was encoded with password Hill so that more effective in securing data in the form of a digital image. The size of the image file using the encoding results in a modification password Hill is smaller than ordinary password Hill with a percentage decrease of 4.6 % so more ease in delivery through electronic media Keyword: Digital image, modified Hill code, encryption, description Â

This research aims to find out the most effective concentration (LC50) and the most effective time (LT50)  and  to select a biological agent netamoda of nematodes Steinernema sp. dan Heterorhabditis sp. as the environmentally friendly biological control agents on the ground termite Coptotermes sp. and   Microtermes sp. in Lumajang. All the data were analyzed by using the termite mortality percentage variance analysis. The LC50 and LT50 were tested by using the probit analysis. Therefore, the empirical probit values were obtained from the percentage of mortality after they were calculated by the Abbot formulation. The biological agents netamoda entomopathogenic Heterorhabditis sp. and Steinernema sp. had the high value on the pathogenicity of Coptotermes sp. and Microtermes sp., the LC50 values on Coptotermes sp. of nematodes Heterorhabditis sp. was 14.94 IJ/ml and Steinernema sp. was 15.22 IJ/ml., the LC50 values on Microtermes sp. of nematodes Heterorhabditis sp. was 16.54 IJ/ml and  Steinernema sp. was 20.39 IJ/ml., the LT50 values on Coptotermes sp. of nematodes Heterorhabditis sp. was 1.29 hours and Steinernema sp. was 1.35 hours, and the LT50 values on Microtermes sp. of nematodes Heterorhabditis sp. was 2.14 hours and Steinernema sp. was 1.82 hours. Through pathogenicity test, the entomopathogenic nematodes Heterorhabditis sp. is more effective to control subterranean termites compared with the nematode Steinernema sp. This happens because Heterorhabditis sp. are actively engaged and looking for a host so that there are a large number of possibilities of contacting them with a very large subterranean termites. Keywords: Entomopathogenic nematodes,   Heterorhabditis sp., Steinernema sp., LC50, LT50Â

Structural Equation Modeling of the Factors Affecting the Nutritional Status of Children Under Five in Banyuwangi Region using Recursive (one-way) GSCA

    No full text
Structural Equation Modeling is one among popular multivariate analysis, especially applied in pschology and marketing. There are two main types of Structural Equation Modeling namely covariance-based or CB-SEM and variance-based or Partial Least Square (PLS)- SEM. Both types have advantages and disadvantage. To overcome its limitation, Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA) was then proposed as an extension of PLS-SEM. In estimating the parameters, GSCA uses Alternating Least Squares (ALS) and in estimating the standard error of the parameter estimates it uses the bootstrap method. In this paper, GSCA is applied to study the causality model of Infant nutritional status, in relation with socio-economic status and infantcare status in Banyuwangi Region. The results show that both socio-economic and infantcare status have significant positive influence on infant nutritional status. Keywords:  Alternating least square, generalized structural component analysis,  nutritional status of infants,  structural equation modellin
