    Investigations on The Mechanism of Artificial Photosynthesis of Ca-Pc-PDI and Dendrimer Molecule by DFT Calculations

    Artificial photosynthesis modelling of Ca-Pc-PDI complex Ca Phthalocyanine Perylenediimide), and dendrimer molecule using Density of Functional Theory (DFT) Method has been studied to showed the energy efficiency of these compounds in terms of electron transfer in photosynthesis. The Analysis of Ca-Pc-PDI and dendrimer compound and also chlorophyl has been done in all computations using the GAMESS-US software. The computations result in this research showed that the large wavelength complex compounds of Ca-Pc-PDI obtained was 138.3299 nm and energy efficiency obtained was 0.89 eV. The data analysis states that the absorption of harvest light energy of complex compounds Ca-Pc-PDI lies in the far UV spectrum. The other side, the polyphenylene dendrimer structure molecular orbital analyses it was found that the dendrimer was capable of electron transfers as indicated by the existence of HOMO and LUMO and result comparisons with chlorophyll. UV wavelengths of the polyethylene dendrimer and chlorophyll, respectively, suggesting that the polyphenylene dendrimer is capable of substituting chlorophyll in artificial photosyntheses. We can states from the result that these compound ability to be applied in the modeling of artificial photosynthesis as a material of energy absorption that mimics the workings of chlorophyll in terms of electron transfer in natural photosynthesis process.     The number of bacteria in the grilled sausage is affected by sanitation hygiene. Aspects of hygiene sanitation include food handlers, equipment, presentation, means of peddlers, and merchant centers. If these five aspects do not meet the standards then it can trigger the occurrence of food contamination by microorganisms. This study aims to determine whether there is a hygiene relationship sanitation traders on the number of bacterial colonies roasted sausages in the car free day (CFD) of Malang City. Data collection using observation sheet referred to Decree of Minister of Health, Number 942/MENKES/SK/VII/2003. Data in the form of hygiene sanitation score. Product moment correlation is used to analyze the presence or absence of relationship between variables.     Simple House Needs in Jember with Robust Small Area Estimation

    SAE (Small Area Estimation) is often used by researchers, especially statisticians to estimate parameters of a subpopulation which has a small sample size. Empirical Best Linear Unbiased Prediction (EBLUP) is one of the indirect estimation methods in Small Area Estimation. The presence of outliers in the data can not guarantee that these methods yield precise predictions . Robust regression is one approach that is used in the model Small Area Estimation. Robust approach in estimating such a small area known as the Robust Small Area Estimation. Robust Small Area Estimation divided into several approaches. It calls Maximum Likelihood and M- Estimation. From the result, Robust Small Area Estimation with M-Estimation has the smallest RMSE than others. The value is 1473.7 (with outliers) and 1279.6 (without outlier). In addition the research also indicated that REBLUP with M-Estimation more robust to outliers. It causes the RMSE value with EBLUP has five times to be large with only one outlier are included in the data analysis. As for the REBLUP method is relatively more stable RMSE results

    Synthesis of precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC) From Lime Rock Nature Methods Caustic Soda (Studies Concentration HNO3)

    The limestones was abundant in Tuban, East Java and have high calcium mineral content. Nevertheless, in the economic value, limestone have low price. Aim the research is prepare  Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC) by caustic soda method. In this method, calcium  was dissolved in HNO3 with different concentration (2, 4,6, 8 M). The Filtrate obtained then was added by Na2CO3 1 M to get PCC. As the results, The white PCC obtained with the highest rendement is 64,7% when added HNO3 6M. Analysis of functional group by FTIR show that there were strong absorption in the 844,76; 912,27 dan 1411,40 cm-1 that indicated carbonate group. Analysis of Cristallinity by XRD show that there were the peak characteristic of 2 on 29,50Ëš; 36,07Ëš dan 39,50Ëšthat representative calcite structure. Seismic dataused is 601 inline, crossline 482, and the data used drilling wells are two wells which there is a loggamma ray, sonic logs and log RHOB. Interpretation is done the analysis of the map in thestructure of time and analysis of seismic attribute maps based on the geometrical attribute serves todetermine their structure or structural faults of the data volume 3D. Based on the time structuremap well known that first well is in the region heights and second wells is in low region. Based oninterpretation of the map attributes known three faults are two major fault and one minor fault.Two faults are in the East Sea drilling wells and a small fracture that was on its western side. Thethree fults are directed from Northwest to the Southeast. Fault is expected to serve as ahydrocarbon trap in the area that will be accumulated in drilling wells.     Combination of Organic Fertilizer and Biological Agent for Pest Control Spodoptera exigua of Plant Onion in Gending, Probolinggo

    Onion is one of lowland vegetables commodity that has been long cultivated intensively by farmers in Indonesia. Probolinggo is one of the regions which give considerable contribution of producing onion to the national needs. In an effort to increase production, onion farmers in Probolinggo mostly relies on external supply in the form of artificial chemicals (fertilizers and pesticides). However, the using of artificial chemicals can cause pollution and damage the environment. So that utilization of biological agents and organic fertilizers which are environmentally friendly can become other solutions to increase the yield of onion production. Based on this case, it is very important in efforts to increase production of onion by combining organic fertilizers to enrich the content of organic matter in the soil with biological agents in tackling pests attack. Based on the research results in application of combining organic fertilizers granules plus NEP and biological agents Heterorhabditis sp. in District Gending Probolinggo shows that : 1. reducing the population of pests Spodoptera exigua up to 72.260%. 2. improving onion plant growth more optimal. From the result, it shows that the combination of organic fertilizer granule plus biological agents and NEP Heterorhabditis sp. (P2A1) is more effective than the combination of the others.     Molecular Dynamics Study for Inhibition of Iron Corrosion in High-Temperature Liquid PbBi with Nobel Gas Inhibitors

    Molecular dynamics is a popular method to observe the movement of interacting molecules. In this study molecular dynamics method was used to observe the phenomenon of iron corrosion and analyze effect of noble gases as a corrosion inhibitor for iron in liquid metal PbBi. Physical quantities are evaluated from the results of this study including: Mean Square Displacement (MSD), the diffusion coefficient, and for the crystal structure is visualized using Ovito program. The ron is placed in the middle high temperature liquid PbBi, the noble gases is injected into the liquid metal. Based on the three kinds of the noble gases (helium, neon, and argon) thhat injected into the molten metal PbBi, it obtained that Argon is the most effective in inhibiting the corrosion of iron. Argon is able to reduce the corrosion rate of 80.29% iron for temperature of 1023K.     Synthesis of Compounds Acetyl Vanilat as Analgesic Compound Components

    Acetyl vanillate was synthesized to become an analgesic compound was conducted in two stages.The first stage is oxidation vanillin using Tollens reagent. The result of the oxidation wascharacterized by melting point and FTIR. The second stage, vanillic acid was acetylated usingacetic acid anhydrous under two conditions, that are acid and base using H2SO4 and NaOH 10%,respectively. Two difference products from those processes were characterized using FTIR and1H-NMR. The result of the melting point vanillic acid test showed 204°C and the standard is210°C. Vanilline was successfully oxidized, based on comparison FTIR spectra between vanillineand its precursor that showed no functional group of C-H aldehyde at 2,700-2,800 cm-1. Thecharacteristics FTIR spectra under base conditions showed no absorption of functional group ‒OHthat substituted by an acetyl group. So that, the base catalyst indicated no product of the expectedcompound. The product under acidic compounds have the characteristic yellow crystals with amelting point of 130°C. Characteristics of FTIR showed no width absorption at wave number 3400cm-1 and evidenced by 1H-NMR spectra. Shift peak at 2.342 ppm was an absorption acetylcompounds. It was concluded that acetylation of acetyl vanillate compounds under acidicconditions to produce the expected product.Keywords: vanilin, vanilic acid, acetylatio

    Drosophila melanogaster is one of the insects which have a very important role in the development of the genetic science. Drosophila melanogaster have many mutation, recently there are many mutant such as sepia and plum strain. Morgan et al have found 85 strain mutan of Drosophila melanogaster. The purpose of these research was to characterize of morphological from the head, thorax, and abdomen. The result show that the morphological of Drosophilla melanogaster wild type, sepia and plum mutant have many similarities. The difference of them are the eyes color, Drosophila melanogaster wild type has red eye, sepia strain has a dark brown eye and plum has a dark purple eye
