Learning Effects of Psychiatric Nursing Practice Using Online Role-Plays during the COVID-19 Pandemic
Get PDFapplication/pdf2020 年に国内で新型コロナウイルス感染が確認されて以降、精神看護実習でも感染対策が求められ、臨地での対象との関わりに制限が生じた。従来の実習とは異なり、コミュニケーションを通して対象を理解し、自己洞察するなどの十分な学修機会が得られなかった。そこで、2022年の精神看護実習では、実習指導者が患者役と看護師役となり、ウェアラブルデバイス等を活用したロールプレイを実践することで、看護学生に患者と看護師の関係を追体験させ、看護師の視線や距離感，患者との関わり方について理解を深める学修機会を提供した。本稿では、これらの取り組みについて報告する。The psychiatric nursing practice implemented strict infection control measures during the coronavirus disease-2019 pandemic and following the emergence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infections in 2020 in Japan. The pandemic limited training opportunities and abilities for students to develop self-awareness via face-to-face interactions with patients, unlike conventional training methods. In 2022, psychiatric nursing instructors started to assume the roles of patient and nurse to train nursing students. They used structured role-playing, facilitated by wearable terminals and other devices, to create valuable learning experiences and facilitate detailed re-enactments of the patient-nurse relationship. This activity deepened the understanding of nursing students about a nurse's role and how nonverbal signals, such as interpersonal distance and gaze facilitated such relationships. Implementation And Evaluation of an Online Orientation Using a Web Camera in Geriatric Nursing Training
Get PDFapplication/pdf看護学生に向けて行われる実習施設のオリエンテーションは、学生が新しい環境に適応するためには必要不可欠である。新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響で、介護老人保健施設での実習オリエンテーションとして実施される施設内見学に制限が生じた。初めて訪れる介護老人保健施設の環境を把握してもらうことを目的に、実習指導者がWebカメラを装着し施設内の映像をリアルタイムで配信する施設内オリエンテーション （Webオリエンテーション）を行った。終了後の実習記録やアンケートを分析した結果、オンラインによるオリエンテーションでも学生の施設環境への理解を深められること、実習意欲が高められることが分かった。今後はオンラインの利点を活かしながら、より効果的な実習オリエンテーションについて検討する。Orientation at training facilities is essential for nursing students to adjust to their new environments. The COVID-19 pandemic led to restrictions on facility tours as a type of training orientation at health service facilities for the elderly. To help students understand the environment of the health service facility for the elderly they were about to visit for the first time in such a situation, we conducted an in-facility orientation, in which a training supervisor wore a web camera, and transmitted images inside the facility in real time (web-based orientation). The subsequent analysis of training records and questionnaire responses revealed that the web-based orientation promoted students' deeper understanding of the facility environment, and increased their motivation for training.
