How are Emotional and Physical Demands Associated with Job Dissatisfaction? Moderated by Marital Status
Although there has been extensive research on job satisfaction, the theoretical possibilities may be limited. In general, most of the research focuses only on job-demand factors. However, this study focuses on the emotional and physical demands on job satisfaction. Using the 5th wave of IFLS data, this study aims to determine the effect of marital status upon the relationship between emotional and physical demands on employee satisfaction in Indonesia. The results of research from 19,395 Indonesian employees show that marital status is a mediator in the relationship between emotional and physical demands on job satisfaction. The findings suggest that marital status underpins negative outcomes of emotional and physical demands on job satisfaction in Indonesia. Additionally, the present study found that gender differences affect job satisfaction. Traditional role values and gender concepts are discussed. demand; physical demands; marital statu

This explains that the Appreciative Inquiry training can be used to improve career maturity in students
Adaptation and Validation of Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (CERQ) in Indonesian Version
The aim of this research is to adapt and validate the Indonesian version of CERQ for adult samples. CERQ consists of nine emotional regulation strategies, with a total of 36 items. CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) was used to analyse the data. The results of the study showed that based on the measurement model using CFA, CERQ totaling 36 items, through the item selection process, the remaining 17 items have high loading factor. Based on the results of the evaluation of the fit of model indicated by the parameters: chi square = 103.115 (p = 0.101), GFI = 0.895, AGFI = 0.814, CFI = 0.979, TLI = 0.967 and RMSEA = 0.044 explaining the existence of good goodness of fit. CERQ Indonesian version also has Composite Reliability (CR) in the range of 0.707-0.925 and AVE in the range of 0.786-0.927, also explaining and providing evidence of good convergent validity. The confirmed CERQ measurement model has a fit model according to empirical data. Thus, the Indonesian version of CERQ is accepted as a measure of emotion regulation, especially for young adult respondents (aged 20-40 years).Â

The Role of Psychological Capital on Employee Voice: Conservation Resources Framework
The current study aims to explain how psychological capital influences employee voice in the Indonesian context. The conservation resources framework can provide an explanation of how personal resources, namely psychological capital (psycap) have an impact on work behavior (employee voice). This study involved 182 participants from various companies. Questionnaires were circulated via an instant messaging application, several social media platforms, and paper-based. Based on a simple regression analysis, it is proven that psychological capital is significantly related to employee voice. Employees can choose to speak up when they are motivated by a pro-social motive that brings to constructive changes to themselves and the organizations. Psycap interacting simultaneously produces different manifestations, which can make individuals obtain new resources. By acquiring these additional resources, individuals are ready to meet the demands of work and achieve their work goals, by providing a voice
Parenting in Digital Era: a Systematic Literature Review
Abstract Parental care has a significant influence on children’s digital technology use (Ozgür, 2016 ; Valcke, Bonte, De Wever & Rots, 2010). The purpose of this literature review is to know the characteristics of the participants of the articles, the type of measurement, the type of digital parenting and the digital parenting determinant factors. The method used is a systematic literature review. The article search was done online by using the keywords “digital parenting†and/or “parental mediation of internet useâ€. A total of 20 articles in the period of 2011-2020 were used to carry out this literature review taken from Sagehub, Science Direct, Ebscohost and Proquest Dissertation. The results of the literature review show that most of the participants in these articles are parents who have children from childhood to adolescence and come from Caucasian races. The measuring instrument used in the quantitative approach is a questionnaire on parental mediation of internet use from previous studies or a questionnaire that has been modified according to the research setting. Meanwhile, the interview method and focus group discussion were used for the qualitative approach. The types of parental mediation of internet use that appear are active parental mediation, restrictive parental mediation, monitoring parental mediation, supportive parental mediation, and co-use/co-viewing parental mediation. While the role of parental mediation of internet use is mostly a dependent variable, in several articles it acts as a predictor variable. This shows the existence of internal factors and external factors that affect parental mediation in parents. The results of this literature review can be a foothold for other researchers who are interested in conducting research on digital parenting of parents in children’s digital technology use. Keywords: digital parenting, parental mediation of internet use, parents, adolescenc
Safety Performance in Middle Scale Industry: A Literature Review
Safety performance is a performance concept which focuses on employee’s behavior in the context of work safety. Safety performance has been frequently studied in multiple industrial contexts. However, only a few of them aimed for middle scale industries. Previous studies on safety performance were usually conducted more on large scale industries, in which the outcome refers more on the safety performance focusing on work injury, work accident or unsafe behaviors. There are only limited numbers of studies on work behaviors, especially on middle scale industries. This research aimed to identify the opportunities and challenges on the application of safety performance in relations to the work behaviors in the middle scale industries through a library study. Literature search were conducted by online means from four databases: ProQuest e-journal, ScienceDirect e-journals, Sage e-journals, and emerald insight e-journals. The keywords used in the search were (“safety performance†or “safety behaviorâ€), (“medium industries†or “small and medium enterprise†or “SMEâ€), (“safety in medium industries†or “safety in SMEâ€), and (“safety performance in medium industries†or â€safety performance in SMEâ€). There were 33 journals found which were later mapped based on the inclusion or exclusion criteria. Results showed that the flexibility of middle scale industries, collectivistic culture and the role of leaders are the potential supporting factors in the application of safety performance in middle scale industries. On the other hand, factors such as human resources, economy, technology, the organization of middle scale industry and the government regulations are the potential inhibiting factors in the application of safety performance in middle scale industries. Keywords: safety performance, middle scale industry, work safet
Sexual Harassment and Victimization from Four Other Types of Interpersonal Aggression in Ghana: A Cycle of Victimization
The aim of the study was to investigate victimization from sexual harassment, and level of emotional distress due to it, are associated with four other types of victimization. A questionnaire was completed by 280 female university students and lecturers in Ghana. The mean age was 26.7 years (SD = 6.2). The questionnaire included scales for measuring frequency of sexual harassment, emotional distress due to sexual harassment, physical punishment during childhood, victimization from peer aggression at school, and victimization from intimate partner aggression. Respondents who were more than average victimized from sexual harassment scored significantly higher on physical punishment during childhood, victimization from peer aggression at school (revictimization), and victimization from intimate partner aggression (multiple victimization). When frequency of sexual harassment was controlled for, emotional distress caused by sexual harassment correlated positively with victimization from peer aggression at school, and victimization from verbal intimate partner aggression, thus suggesting sensitization to aggression. Victimization from sexual harassment was associated with higher levels of both previous and simultaneous victimization from other types of aggression, thus corroborating the principles of both revictimization and multiple victimization. The finding does not suggest that sexual harassment in all cases is associated with other types of victimization. Keywords: sexual harassment, revictimization, emotional distress, Ghan
Volunteering: A Study of Psychological Attribute Related to Indonesian Emerging Adult Volunteer Motivation
Numerous problems in Indonesia, ranging from poverty to natural disasters, require that all parties participate in solving the problems. For this reason, volunteering can be the human resource that helps to solve these problems. This idea is also supported by data showing that younger Indonesians also like to volunteer. This study aimed to determine the relationship between volunteer motivation dimensions with psychological attributes, such as personality traits, happiness, interpersonal trust, narcissistic personality, self-efficacy, purpose in life, and psychological distress on volunteers aged 18–29 years old (emerging adults). The motivation to volunteer was the main variable and had six dimensions, namely values, social, career, knowledge, understanding, and enhancement motives. This correlational study had 1712 respondents. All the measuring instruments were already adapted to Bahasa Indonesia. The results showed all the variables of psychological attributes have a significant relationship with one or more motivations to volunteer. Keywords Volunteering motivation, Happiness, Purpose of life, Personality, Emerging adult
