POTENSI FUNGSIONAL BUBUK BUAH KESEMEK
Abstract: The objectives of this research were to know the functional potential (antioxidant) of granule kesemek fruit and to know the nutritional fact of granule kesemek fruit by value analysis of: water, fenolic component, carotene component, lipids component, protein component, dust component, carbohydrates (glucose and crude fiber). Value analysis of water by thermogravimetri method, fenolic component: folin-ciocalteu method, vitamin C by Iodometri method, crude fiber by alkaline-acid method, carotene by spektrofometric, lipids by soxhlet method, protein by micro-Kjeldahl method, dust by gravimetric method and antioxidant activity by peroxide value method. Research design in the antioxidant activity is complete block design with twice repetition of treatment (etil acetate solvent and ethanol solvent) and third sample repetition. If after Varian analysis found real difference, so that continued with LSD analysis. The result of this research were the antioxidant potency of ethanol extract is 245.53%, etil acetate extract is 60.42%. The value of nutritional fact of granule kesemek fruit were: water: 14.56%; dust: 1.82%, protein: 2.85%; lipid: 0.22%, crude fiber: 3.72%; glucose: 20.13; another carbohydrate = 55.38%; fenolic: 0.32%, vitamin C: 15.1016mg and carotene: 599.1620 microgram
HUBUNGAN ANTARA PERSEPSI DAN KESADARAN SISWA SMA TENTANG PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH MEMAKAI TONG KOMPOSTER DENGAN PEMAHAMAN KESEHATAN LINGKUNGAN
This study aims to find improved environmental health through waste management using the barrel composter to high schools students in Malang. The research design is correlational studies. The experimental method was conducted to examine students' understanding of environmental health. Samples taken 400 people taken at random results of research showed (1) there is influence students perceptions on waste management was wearing a barrel composter (X1) to the understanding of health (Y) that significant; (2) there is effect students' awareness (X2) to the understanding of environmental health that significant; (3) there is no significant difference students' understanding on environmental health before and after treatment demonstration barrel composter.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan perbaikan kesehatan lingkungan melalui pengelolaan sampah dengan memakai tong komposter siswa SMA Negeri di Kota Malang. Rancangan penelitian adalah studi korelasional. Metode eksperimen dilakukan untuk menguji pemahaman siswa tentang kesehatan lingkungan. Sampel diambil 400 orang diambil secara random. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) ada pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang pengelolaan sampah memakai tong komposter (X1) terhadap pemahaman kesehatan (Y) yang signifikan; (2) ada pengaruh kesadaran siswa (X2) terhadap pemahaman kesehatan lingkungan yang signifikan; (3) ada perbedaan yang signifikan pemahaman siswa tentang kesehatan lingkungan antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan peragaan tong komposter
PERUBAHAN KIMIA DAN MIKROBIOLOGI PADA PEMBUATAN TEMPE DENGAN PERENDAMAN HEMAT AIR
Abstract: One of the obstacles encountered in the making of tempe is excessive use of water for soaking. This research sets out to reveal the impact of water volume utilization for producing tempe with additional treatment for its quality. Laboratory experiment is picked as the method. The ratio of soybean and its soaking water is determined as 1 : 2,4; 1 : 1,9; and 1 : 1,5 with its basin side-turning and mixing procedures. As a controlling preparation, it uses the ratio of 1 : 2,4 soybean and water. The results of this experiment shows that the ratio of 1 : 1,5 gives best quality of tempe in its appearance, proper dispersion of its flourish (jamur tempe), and achieving under controlled pH of 6,03 and 6,29 as well as its amino acid level

PENGARUH KOMPOSISI BAHAN BAKU DAN BAHAN PEMBUNGKUS TERHADAP MUTU TEMPE KACANG
Abstract: The Impact of Composition of Raw Material and Wrapping Material on the Quality of Tempe. The objective of this research is to study the impact of composition of raw material and wrapping material on the quality of tempe made of peanut press-cake. Two factors were studied in the experiment, proportion of press-cake and peanut, and wrapping material. The composition of press-cake and peanut were 100 : 0; 80 : 20; 60 : 40 and 40 : 60, while wrapping material used were banana leaves and polythylele plastic. The result showed that there were significant effects of proportion an type of wrapping material on the protein and organoleptical value of the product. The highest protein content and best appearance was performed by tempe made of 40 : 60 wrapped in plastict. However, composition of 60 : 40 in plastic performed a slightlybetter in taste and flavor either raw or cooked. It was then suggested to use composition of press-cake and whole peanut of 40 : 60 or 60 : 40, wrapped in polyethylene plastic in order to produce a good quality of tempe
Peramalan Beban Listrik menggunakan MLR Stepwise
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap unjuk kerja metode analisis regresi linear ganda (MLR) stepwise untuk peramalan beban listrik. Riset dilakukan untuk data Nasional terhadap 5 sektor kajian, yaitu sektor rumah tangga (pbl1), industri (pbl2), usaha (pbl3), sosial atau lain-lain (pbl4), dan total sektor (pbl5). Rumus-rumus yang dipakai dan dikembangkan berbasis MLR beserta persyaratannya. Peralatan pokok untuk menunjang analisis menggunakan software SPSS. Studi ini berhasil mengembangkan model regresi untuk setiap sektor kajian. Model regresi untuk 5 model sektor memiliki koefisien determinasi (R2): sektor pbl1 sebesar 0,997, sektor pbl2 sebesar 0,997, sektor pbl3 sebesar 0,997, sektor pbl4 sebesar 0,996, dan sektor pbl5 sebesar 0,999. Dari keseluruhan model, secara statistik harga energi listrik pengaruhnya tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan energi/beban listrik di Indonesia. Validasi model ditunjukkan dengan error% rata-rata yang berkisar antara 0,43-1,42%. Model juga telah dicoba untuk meramalkan energi/beban listrik sampai tahun 2001
Pengaruh Latek pada Kepekaan Terhadap Temperatur Bahan Pengikat Aspal
Natural rubber (latex) is an additive that could be expected to enhance the physical properties of an asphalt mixtrure, particular its temperature susceptibility bitumen in the form of latex-bitumen in road construction merits consideration. The objectives of the research were to in investigate the effect of latex on the temperature susceptibility. Bitumen used was 60/70-penetration grade and the latex was Dry Rubber Content 60. The results of tests in binders containing 0%, 2%, 4%, and 6% by weight of bitumen indicated that penetration index increases with increase in latex content, indicating a reduction in temperature susceptibility
Penerapan Ergonomi Dalam Perusahaan Dan Pengaruhnya Terhadap Keluhan Kesehatan Kerja
Keluhan kesehatan kerja disebabkan oleh kelelahan fisik akibat cara kerja kurang memperhatikan aspek ergonomik. Penurunan daya guna disebabkan oleh karena kurang diperhitungkan syarat-syarat biomekanika dalam melaksanakan tugasnya. Pekerjaan sehari-hari pengerahan otot yang statis perlu dibatasi, bila mungkin dihindarkan sama sekali. Penelitian dilakukan di perusahaan industri sandang unit pabrik pemintalan Lawang, dimana di industri ini sebagian besar karyawan bekerja pada unit produksi melaksanakan pekerjaannya dilakukan pada posisi berdiri sambil mengangkat barang. Sejumlah 45 orang bagian unit produksi dipakai sebagai sampel dan diamati, dari analisis data terdapat 65,74% menderita keluhan kesehatan kerja akibat kurang memperhatikan aspek ergonomik. Setelah diperinci diantaranya sejumlah 25 orang atau 36,53% menderita nyeri otot punggung, 15 orang atau 21,92% menderita nyeri pada kaki, dan 5 orang atau 7,30% menderita nyeri bagian lengan. Pemaparan tersebut di atas memberikan gambaran, bahwa masalah ergonomi merupakan upaya dinamik untuk mencari pemecahan persoalan yang menyangkut faktor aktifitas manusia dalam proses produksi. Hal ini sesuai dengan peraturan pemerintah yaitu Peraturan Menteri Tenaga Kerja Nomer 05/Men/1996 tentang sistem manajemen keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) yang merupakan pedoman untuk memperbaiki kerja yang produktif
Pemodelan Bangkitan Perjalanan Orang pada Daerah Pinggiran Kota Malang
The purpose of this research is to establish the mathematic model for generated-people's transportation at settlement district in Malang perimeter area. Date are collected by survey and interviews technique questioned on 16 selected housing that includes family structure, social and economic condition, and transportation. The result shows that: (1) general model for generated-people's transportation Y = -0.0005 + 0.294 AK + 0.173 P + 0.014 K vehicle -0.043 DL, (2) model for transported working people by car Y = -0.062 + 0.001 W + 0.039 P + 0.013 car, (3) model for transported working people by motorcycle Y = -0.096 + 0.134 W - 0.004 P + 0.183 motorcycle, (4) model for transported working people by public transportation Y = -0.098 + 0.0256 W - 0.0041 P + 0.0098 public transportation, (5) model for transported working people by another vehicle Y = 0.0475 + 0.0491 W - 0.0282 P + 0.306 family without vehicle, (6) model for transported students going to school by car Y = -0.0041 + 0.0033 students + 0.0272 car, (7) model for transported students going to school by motorcycle Y = -0.030 + 0.0097 students + 0.142 motorcycle, (8) model for transported students going to school by public transportation Y = -0.0469 + 0.0551 students + 0.0272 fanily without vehicles, and (9) model for transported students going to school by another vehicles Y = 0.0348 + 0.145 students + 0.264 without vehicle
Paparan Bahan Kimia Komestika dan Pengaruhnya terhadap Dermatitis Tenaga Kerja di Salon Kecantikan
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari: (1) pengaruh paparan bahan kimia komestika terhadap terjadinya dermatitis pada tenaga kerja Salon Kecantikan di Malang, (2) persentase terjadinya dermatitis pada tenaga kerja Salon Kecantikan di Malang, (3) jenis penyakit kulit yang diderita tenaga kerja Salon Kecantikan di Malang, dan (4) macam-macam bahan kimia yang berbahaya bagi kulit yang digunakan di Salon Kecantikan di Malang. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel terdiri dari 35 hairdressers (sebagai kelompok sampel) dan 13 staf administrasi (sebagai kelompok kontrol). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, pemeriksaan kesehatan terutama pemeriksaan kulit, uji sampel dan pengukuran iklim kerja. Data diperoleh melalui deskriptif dan analitik dengan menggunakan regresi logistik berganda. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan variabel-variabel seperti masa kerja, umur, pendidikan, kebersihan diri, tingkat pendidikan, dan paparan tidak berpengaruh terhadap terjadinya dermatitis. Disarankan bahwa semua hairdressers harus menggunakan alat pelindung diri, mengikuti pelatihan tentang kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja, dan diperiksa kesehatannya sebelum bekerja dan secara berkala
