DIMENSI IMPLEMENTATIF PERTIMBANGAN ENERGI PADA BANGUNAN PELAYANAN ADMINISTRASI KAMPUS SEBAGAI UPAYA MENUJU BANGUNAN SADAR ENERGI
The implementing dimension of energy consideration on the administration building in the campus as a step to establish energy aware buildings. The purpose of study is to get a picture of factors considered on the energy used in the administration building operation, especially administrative buildings in The State University of Malang. The analysis of data uses descriptive statistics. The result shows that the mean score of energy implementation is 3.87, which is mean that the users tend to agree for energy consideration. The highest score attained by Innovation in Operations variable (4.44). On the other hand, the lowest score attained by Indoor Air Quality Control variable (3.66).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran faktor-faktor pertimbangan energi yang digunakan pada penyelenggaraan bangunan, khususnya pada bangunan pelayananan admistrasi di UM. Analisis data digunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata skor total implementasi penggunaan energi adalah 3,87 yang menunjukkan kecenderungan untuk mulai mempertimbangkan penggunaan energi pada bangunan. Skor tertinggi adalah pertimbangan terhadap variabel inovasi dalam operasional menuju bangunan hemat energi (Innovation In Operations) sebesar 4,44. Skor terendah adalah kontrol kualitas udara dalam ruang (3,66)
PENGEMBANGAN PROFESIONALITAS BERKELANJUTAN GURU BERSERTIFIKAT PENDIDIK DI SMK RUMPUN TEKNOLOGI
Continuous development of certified teachers in vocational high school technology clump. The purpose of this study is to describe the continuing professionality development of teachers certifiedcertified teachers through investments investing in self-development educators, scientific publications, and innovative work wetherboth independently, in groups, or institutionalizedinstitutionally. This research uses a descriptive quantitative study design study, with and a the research subjects are who is certified vocational teachers educators asin Malang Raya. The Research research instruments used in this study are questionnaires and interview guides. The results of this study indicate that continuing professionality development of certified teachers certified in vocational educators high school clumps technology clump is still relatively low, most teachers only are categorized in the categories category of sometimes doing self-development investments, scientific publications, and innovative works.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan profesionalitas berkelanjutan guru bersertifikat pendidik melalui investasi pengembangan diri, publikasi ilmiah, dan karya inovatif baik secara mandiri, berkelompok, atau melembaga. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan subjek penelitian guru kejuruan bersertifikat pendidik se-Malang Raya. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan profesionalitas berkelanjutan guru bersertifikat pendidik di SMK rumpun teknologi se-Malang Raya masih tergolong rendah, sebagian besar guru hanya kadang-kadang melakukan investasi pengembangan diri, publikasi ilmiah, dan membuat karya inovatif
REKAYASA UBIN DARI LAMINASI BATANG DAN TEMPURUNG KELAPA
Abstract: The Floor Tile Design Made of Coconut Log and Shell. The research for local building materials is demanded for supporting regional potentials improvement. This research is aimed to investigate the design and quality of floor tile made of laminated coconut log and shell as floor and wall materials for housing. This design research uses structural-functional approaches, prototype manufacturing, and its testing. The result shows that (1) the log and shell of coconut can be used as floor tiling materials with specification as follows: 200 mm of length, 200 mm of width, 20 mm of depth, 550 grams of weight, brown color, and used as interior finishing for both floor and wall; (2) generally, the quality of shell layer fulfills technical requirements, except its load-strength test; and (3) for using as floor tile, the shell has good density and surface quality, but different in color and pattern
KAJIAN DESAIN ATRIUM PADA BERBAGAI DIMENSI TERHADAP DISTRIBUSI DAN PERGERAKAN UDARA PADA BANGUNAN BERLANTAI BANYAK DENGAN DENAH BUJURSANGKAR DAN BERVENTILASI ALAMI Studi Model dengan Terowongan Angin
Abstract: An atrium is a type of space which is physically shaped as an enclosure inside the building. It is modified from courtyard or an opened enclosure in middle of the building. This research is conducted to identify the effect of atrium size to the air movement velocity rate and its distribution through the rooms in a square-shaped natural-ventilated high rise building. It sets a design research of atrium building and tests the models in a wind tunnel. The varieties of the atrium size are determined in three different dimensions: 12x12 sqm, 18x18 sqm, and 24x24 sqm. The experiment method used in this research utilizes the model for observing the size variety impacting the air velocity and its distribution. The outline of the projected air movement will be illustrated by using Winsurf software. The result of the tests shows that in the atrium building: (1) the air movement penetrating the workspaces has velocity average as less than 0.1 m/s or has bad quality natural ventilation; (2) the effect of atrium size to the air movement in the workspaces indicates: in top level, bigger size of the atrium leads to lower air movement velocity, in mid level, bigger size of the atrium leads to higher air movement velocity, meanwhile in the base level, bigger size of the atrium leads to higher air movement as well. However, the vertical air movement is hardly to observe, because in the atrium the air distribution tends to move circular and creates turbulence; dominated by horizontal movement rather than vertical direction to the top level ventilation outlets
KESIAPAN SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN DALAM PELAKSANAAN UJI KOMPETENSI DALAM RANGKA UJIAN NASIONAL
The implementation of competency examination in vocational school national exmination needs studies, one of them is those regarding to the readiness and implementation in the field. It is based on the reality that the schools’ conditions are vary, from locations, internal conditions, and stakeholders’ supports. This research’s objective is to describe vocational schools’ readiness on location, accessors, infrastructures, time of implementation, and mechanism. The result of research shows that 61.43% of competency examination were implemented in school. The proportion of accessor were a combination of instructor from stakeholder and teacher from school. Furthermore, infrastructures of vocational school located in province city were fully equipped, while the ones located in regency were less equipped. Among 98.33% of competency examination were conducted before national examination within 30 to 33 days of duration, and mechanism of competency examination used project work approach.Pelaksanaan uji kompetensi dalam rangka ujian nasional Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) memerlukan berbagai kajian, salah satunya berkaitan dengan kesiapan dan keterlaksanaan di lapangan. Hal ini mengingat kondisi SMK bervariasi, baik dari sisi lokasi geografis, kondisi internal, maupun dukungan stakeholder. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kesiapan SMK dari sisi tempat pelaksanaan, tenaga asesori, infrastuktur SMK pelaksana, waktu pelaksanaan, dan mekanismenya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 61,43% uji kompetensi dilaksanakan di sekolah, proporsi asesor adalah gabungan instruktur dari stakeholder dan guru dari sekolah, infrastruktur SMK yang berlokasi di kota provinsi kondisi lengkap, sedang yang berlokasi di kabupaten kurang; 98,33% uji kompetensi dilaksanakan sebelum ujian nasional dengan rentang waktu 30-33 hari, dan mekanisme uji kompetensi menggunakan pendekatan kerja proyek
PELAKSANAAN PLPG SEBAGAI WAHANA PENGEMBANGAN DAN AUDIT KOMPETENSI DALAM SERTIFIKASI GURU BIDANG KEJURUAN
The implementation of PLPG as competency audit and developmental mode in vocatiobal teacher certification on province of West Nusa Tenggara. Objectives of this research are to describe curriculum relevancy, quality of the instructor, supporting means and infrastructures, determination of the learning group, learning media, KBM process, and evaluation system for the implementation of PLPG. Instruments of the research were questionnaires sheets and documentation. Data was analyzed in percentage. Results of the research showed that: in general, curriculum relevancy, quality of the instructor, supporting means and infrastructures, determination of learning group, KBM process, and evaluation system for the implementation of PLPG were good categories but not for learning media.Pelaksanaan PLPG sebagai Wahana Pengembangan dan Audit Kompetensi dalam Sertifikasi Guru Kejuruan di Propinsi NTB. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan relevansi kurikulum, kualitas instruktur, sarana dan prasarana pendukung, penentuan rombongan belajar, media pembelajaran, proses KBM, dan sistem evaluasi pelaksanaan PLPG. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan instrumen penelitian berupa angket dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan persentase. STUDI KEMUNGKINAN PENGOLAHAN SAMPAH ORGANIK MENJADI KOMPOS DI DARMO TRADE CENTER (DTC) PASAR WONOKROMO SURABAYA
Abstract: Trash, at any forms, when it is not managed properly, is a very disturbing material. This research is aimed to identify the existing trash management and trash volume produced from DTC Market, Wonokromo. It also includes the composition of organic and inorganic trash and the possibilities to convert it into compost. Data of this research are acquired by conducting field observation and interviews from trash cleaning workers on site. The result shows that organic trash occupies biggest part of daily trash with 26 m3 of volume per day, meanwhile only 5% or 1.3 m3 of volume are inorganic trash. The area of TPS (Tempat Pembuangan Sementara) for trash in DTC Wonokromo is 176 m2 with its incinerator of 90 m2. This area is available for developing a communal system to convert trash into compost
KORELASI BAKAT MEKANIK, PRESTASI PRAKTIKUM OTOMOTIF, DAN PRESTASI PRAKTIK INDUSTRI DENGAN HASIL UJI KOMPETENSI SERVIS BERKALA OTOMOTIF RODA EMPAT MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN TEKNIK OTOMOTIF
To improve the competence of graduates that has competence relevan with necessity of automotive industry, need to know some variables be connected. This research objective is to know relationship between mechanical talent, outomotif lab performance, and industry practice performance with results of periodic servicing automotive competency. Subjects of the research are all students of The Automotive Education Degree consisted of 41 students. The collected data were analyzed by path analysis. Results show that (1) there are relationship between the mechanical talent with the results of periodic servicing automotive competency, (2) there are relationship between the outomotif lab performance with the results of periodic servicing automotive competency, (3) there are relationship between the industry practice performance with the results of periodic servicing automotive competencys.Untuk meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan yang memiliki kompetensi sesuai kebutuhan industri otomotif, perlu diketahui variabel yang terkait. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan bakat mekanik, prestasi praktikum otomotif, dan prestasi praktik industri dengan hasil uji kompetensi servis berkala otomotif. Subyek penelitian mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Teknik Otomotif berjumlah 41 mahasiswa. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil analisis diperoleh (1) ada hubungan yang signifikan antara bakat mekanik dengan kompetensi servis berkala otomotif, (2) ada hubungan yang signifikan antara prestasi praktikum mesin otomotif dengan kompetensi servis berkala otomotif, (3) ada hubungan yang signifikan antara praktik industri dengan kompetensi servis berkala otomotif
IMPLEMENTASI SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN BERTARAF INTERNASIONAL
The implementation of international standard vocational high school. This study aims to identify the implementation of international standard school in State Vocational High School (VHS) Bontang. Data were collected using the method of observations, in-depth interview, and documentations. Data analysis applies is descriptive qualitative. The results show: (1) the development of international VHS started by compiling School Development & Investment Plan; (2) charge productive lessons have been adopted from international companies; (3) equipment owned was sufficient in quantity, quality, and relevant to needs; (4) the English ability of teachers are lack; (5) learning have use the ICT, however the use of English in the learning process has not been done; (6) some graduates were accepted in the industry and also continuing to higher education level; and (7) the main constraints are funding, the use of English language, and cooperative relationships with overseas industries.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui implementasi sekolah bertaraf internasional di SMK Negeri Bontang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) pengembangan SMK bertaraf internasional dimulai dengan menyusun School Development & Invesment Plan; (2) muatan pelajaran produktif telah mengadopsi dari perusahaan bertaraf internasional; (3) peralatan yang dimiliki cukup memadai secara kuantitas, kualitas, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan, (4) kemampuan bahasa Inggris guru masih kurang; (5) pembelajaran telah memanfaatkan TIK, sedang penggunaan bahasa inggris dalam proses pembelajaran belum terlaksana; (6) selain terserap pada industri, lulusan juga melanjutkan ke pendidikan lebih tinggi; (7) kendala yang utama adalah dana, penggunaan bahasa Inggris, dan hubungan kerjasama dengan industri luar negeri
KAJIAN ANALITIS DAN EKSPERIMENTAL KEKAKUAN DAN KEKUATAN LENTUR BALOK LAMINASI DARI BAHAN KAYU SENGON DAN BAMBU PETUNG
Abstract: Analysis and experimental assessment of the stiffness and strength of glue laminated timber beam made of kayu sengon and bamboo petung. The limit of commercial wood has not been adequately supplied by industrial forestry. One of the efforts to overcome such condition is the usage of fast growing wood engineered with bamboo. This study aims to investigate the stiffness and strength of glue laminated timber beam made of fast growing wood, Paraserianthes Falcataria and bambo Dendrocalamus asper (Schult. F) Backer ex Heyne. This study is experimental research. The stiffness and strength was define as independent variable. The result shows that highest bending strength (MOR) was indicated by specimen with ratio 0.50. Mean while the highest elasticity modulus (MOE) was indicated by specimen with ratio 1.00
