Design and construction of a website-based librarian application system in Bali
This study focuses on the development of a web-based application system related to the functional positions of librarians in Bali. This web-based application is designed as a one-stop service to provide essential functional position information for librarians. The primary research question asked is how to design and construct a web-based librarian application system in Bali. The objective of this study is to design, develop, and evaluate a system that supports librarians in managing their activities and credit scores. The development method used is the linear sequential (waterfall) method, which includes the stages of analysis, design, coding, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This system features a user interface with functions such as Home, Activity Details, Forms, and a List of Librarians, enabling librarians to manage various activities organized into categories of Expert Librarians and Skilled Librarians. Each activity comprises a menu for librarian type, education, library management, services, librarian system development, professional development, and task support, which are further broken down into sub-activities according to their categories. Application testing was carried out using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that all functions operated according to user needs. This system was implemented as a web-based application using PHP and MySQL databases, allowing librarians to access it online. The implementation results show that this application has run well and is able to meet the needs of librarians in managing their functional positions efficiently, simplifying the credit score submission process, and enhancing accuracy and efficiency in reporting
The role of Jatmika Reading House volunteers in instilling children’s environmental literacy
Jatmika Reading House is a community library that actively teaches environmental literacy through various activities, one of which is eco-enzyme making. This study aims to explore the role of volunteers in eco-enzyme making, identify the challenges faced during the activity, and understand the motivation of volunteers in contributing to Jatmika Reading House's activities. This research used a qualitative method with a case study approach. The informants in this study were two volunteers who were selected through a purposive sampling technique due to their direct involvement in eco-enzyme-making activity. Data collection techniques included interviews, indirect observation, documentation, and literature review. This research is important because although environmental education has developed, there are still few studies that specifically discuss the role of volunteers in teaching environmental literacy to children. In fact, volunteers have a strategic role in introducing the concept of sustainability and building environmental awareness through community activities. The results showed that volunteers acted as facilitators, mentors, instructors, encouragers, and organizers of children's participation. They faced various challenges, such as unconducive conditions due to limited tools and materials and an inadequate number of volunteers, resulting in less optimal activity management. Volunteers' motivations varied, ranging from the satisfaction of sharing knowledge and commitment to improving community literacy to personal happiness in social interaction. The findings from this study are expected to provide new insights to strengthen environmental literacy programs involving volunteers

The study found that various efforts were made by community reading parks, including collaboration with other communities, foundations, and the government as supporting factors. However, there were also issues, such as a need for more human resources and books and problems with the location of reading parks. The study also found that community reading parks contributed to increasing reading interest. The conclusion this study concludes that despite facing various challenges, these three community reading parks provide efficiently accessible spaces, serve as sources of reading and recreation through various activities, build partnerships with many parties, and promote literacy through social media campaigns. The study also needs to identify gaps in their role as academic or research reference sources

Data was collected using a closed questionnaire with a Likert Scale. Data analysis and interpretation used descriptive statistics. The research results showed that the information literacy skills of new students were 70%, categorized as good. Students were confirmed to have evaluated search results at 74% while seeking strategies, and the use of information was at 68% and 69 (sufficient category). The condition of task definition and synthesis skills was 71%, location and access were 70%, with Google Scholar, Academia, and Moraref as the most frequently referenced sources of digital information; all three aspects were categorized as good. The preparation of search strategies and utilization of information sources is in the sufficient category. Therefore, these two aptitudes are considered to be the focus of academic library information literacy training in the future
Role of inclusive school libraries for children with down syndrome
The existence of libraries in inclusive schools is regulated in Indonesian legislation. Its management needs to be considered so that its existence can support each student with various special needs. This study aimed to identify the role of the library in helping to foster the speaking skills of students with Down syndrome (DS) with a qualitative approach and case study method. Data were collected through observation of one student with DS, interviews with one teacher in charge of the library, one class teacher, and one principal, and voice recording documentation from three informants. Triangulation data analysis was conducted to examine findings of data sources from observations and interviews, and reference documentation in the form of inclusive school library management standards. The inclusive school library provided collections of fiction, non-fiction, serial publications, and reference collections. Children with DS most often used fiction collections in the form of picture storybooks. The facilities and infrastructure of the inclusive school library are similar to school libraries in general. The predominant service provided and carried out by library staff – who are also teachers, is storytelling - telling stories from books chosen by students with DS to help develop an interest in reading and foster verbal communication. The library is used by teachers in learning activities, carrying out motor skills such as arranging books, thickening lines in books provided at school, playing on computer tablets, coloring, and developing cognitive abilities to recognize letters and connect letters; this helps foster speaking skills of students with DS

Researchers’ self-archiving behavior towards open-access institutional repositories
The success of open-access repositories depends heavily on researchers’ willingness to disseminate their research through self-archiving. Previous studies indicated that lack of self-archiving was a major obstacle to the success of institutional open-access repositories. This study aimed to identify factors influencing researchers' behavior in self-archiving. The analysis examined the influence of repository performance expectations, effort expectations, social influence, and facilitating conditions on researchers' self-archiving intentions and behavior. The study also explored the moderating role of demographic factors such as gender, age, and experience in the relationship between the analyzed factors and self-archiving intentions and behavior. Furthermore, this study also revealed the direct impact of regulatory awareness and research discipline on self-archiving intentions and behavior. The research findings showed that social influence significantly affected researchers' intentions to self-archive while facilitating conditions had a substantial impact on self-archiving behavior. Additionally, demographic variables, such as gender, age, and experience, were found to moderate the effects of social influence on behavioral intention, while awareness of regulations contributed directly to self-archiving behavior. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening social influence, providing adequate supporting conditions, and implementing supportive policies and regulations to enhance researchers' self-archiving behavior in open-access institutional repositories

Islamic Media Bibliometric analysis based on scientific publications in ASEAN countries
Islamic media has a role in economic development, as seen from the many institutions in ASEAN countries that conduct research on various forms of Islamic media and make it a nationally and internationally indexed scientific publication. However, researchers have yet to find any study on ASEAN countries' cooperation in searching for scientific works on the theme of Islamic media, which were analyzed using the R-Package software application. Therefore, this study aimed to determine Islamic Media Bibliometric analysis based on scientific publications in ASEAN countries through study the core information, the number of the most relevant authors, the number of countries' scientific production, types of documents, active affiliations, and the conceptual structure of scientific publications in Islamic media in ASEAN countries. This research used the bibliometric analysis method. Data was collected by searching the Scopus database for Islamic media keywords based on articles, titles, and keywords. The study results obtained 280 documents from 2007 to 2021, including articles and conference papers. Malaysia had the highest number of countries' scientific production in Islamic media scientific publications in ASEAN countries, with 228 frequencies. According to the highest number of scientific publications in Islamic media in ASEAN countries, the National University of Malaysia has produced the highest number of active institutions (31 frequencies).
