MEDIA MASSA DALAM BINGKAI KEKUASAAN (Analisis Wacana Berita Munas Golkar di Metrotv dan tvOne)
There are two issues that are examined in this study (1) Do MetroTv and tvOne use a balanced or unbias perspective in telling reports on the 8th Golkar Assembly to the chairman of the Golkar candidates (2) Is there any discourse of domination in the news about the 8th Golkar Assembly. To tell these issues in depth, this study uses discourse analysis of Teun A Van Dijk models which are useful to know and understand whether MetroTV and TVOne use impartial perspective in telling the 8th Golkar Assembly for the candidates and that there is Golkar chairman domination in news discourse of the 8th Golkar Assembly. This study found that tvOne news was dominated by a candidate of Golkar chairman, Bakrie, while the other candidates are not given an equal share in announcing the nomination of Golkar chairman. In the mean time, MetroTV announcing the nomination of Golkar chairman candidates to the election of Golkar chairman for 2009-2014 period, and MetroTV also explained clearly to the community only, the other candidates are not given an equal share in announcing the chairman of Golkar. Nomination black list was there in the news of MetroTV which was done to marginalize other groups
PENATAAN DAN PEMBINAAN PEDAGANG KAKI LIMA DALAM PERSPEKTIF KOMUNIKASI PEMBANGUNAN DI SURAKARTA
Street traders (PKL) has long been a serious concern central and local governments, including the city of Surakarta. The problem is not the policy level, but associated with its implementation. The expected goals of this study was to determine the depth and the coaching setup process hawkers (PKL) conducted by Government of Surakarta, especially during the leadership of Mayor Joko Widodo, can be done peacefully and to investigate fundamental differences and fostering arrangement patterns PKL with the previous leadership in Surakarta in the perspective of development communication.This research using qualitative and quantitative approach. The results showed that the effectiveness of the arrangement and development of street vendors in Surakarta, so that it can be done peacefully greatly influenced by factors communicator, message, medium, communicant and effect (Lasswell, 1948). EVALUASI KUALITAS LAYANAN DAN KEPUASAN PENGGUNA INFORMASI E-GOVERNMENT (WEBSITE) PADA SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN DAERAH (SIMDA) KABUPATEN KOLAKA
This research aimed to investigate the users’ satisfaction on information service e-government (website) service at Regional information management system (SIMDA) in Kolaka Regency. The methods used were qualitative and quantitative approaches. Qualitative approach used for process information management understanding by BAPESIKOM/PDE. Meanwhile, quantitative approach used to investigate the user satisfied on information service website based on the information management performance. The informants were interviewed in qualitative approach were 6 persons. The sample of users information service which chosen by simple random sampling method were 40 respondents. The result of the research shown that the information management was not qualified. It was presumed on no strategies to produce good quality of qualified information. PENGARUH KOMUNIKASI TERAPEUTIK BIDAN TERHADAP KEPUASAN PASIEN BERSALIN DI RUMAH SAKIT BHAYANGKARA PUSDIK BRIMOB WATUKOSEK GEMPOL PASURUAN
The objective of this study is to explain the effect of therapeutic communication done by midwives toward maternity patient satisfaction in Bhayangkara Pusdik Brimob hospital in Watukosek, Gempol Pasuruan. This study uses a correlational approach. Of the 1034 population of maternity patients in 2012, the researcher took Yamane formula so that the sample in this study were 91 respondents. The analysis uses simple linear regression formula. The conclusion of this study is that the results of 4,798 t and a significance value of 0.000. Values greater than 4,798 t 1,987 t table (df = 91-2 = 89; α = 0.05) and 0,000 T test significance value less than 0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, ie there is an effect of therapeutic communication by midwives toward satisfaction of maternity patient. While the results of the test R2 (R Square) obtained at 0.794 that patient satisfaction influenced by therapeutic communication is 79.4%, while 20.6% is influenced by other variables
KONSTRUKSI CITRA PEREMPUAN DALAM MEDIA ONLINE (Analisis Framing Rubrik Fashion Website Wolipop)
Wolipop is pages that presenting news or lifestyle articles about women, including the fashion rubric discussing the aspect of fashion from within the country and overseas which becomes a trend to date. As an online media which broadcasts information to the public, wolipop also features images of women which can be a reference to those who read it. This research is qualitative research that uses a method of William A. framing analysis. Gamson and modgliani argued that the frame is the way to talk, which presents construction meaning over events pertaining to an object of a discourse. The technique of collecting data used in this research is: documentary study of the primary data by collecting articles written on the fashion rubric of Wolipop from May 13 to 17, and also may 19, 2013. The news articles observed were selected based on the number of visitors every day. The result shows that wolipop always constructs women as figures who always want to look young, figures who can be influenced, figures of fashion adicts who shop high value goods although the goods are not very important. Lastly, wolipop gives images of women as tough figures who dare to demand their rights, try to seek freedom and refuse to be pre-sighted
INTERAKSI SOSIAL ORANG TANAH TORAJA PADA MASYARAKAT LOKAL DI KABUPATEN KOLAKA
Tanah Toraja tribe community who came to nickel mining in Maniang Island are from five regions in Tanah Toraja areas such as Mamasa, Baruppu, Buakayu, Makale, and Mengkendek, who eventually settled in Pomalaa, Kolaka district and interact with the local population Tolaki Mekongga. Interaction between migrant communities (Tator Tribe) and local the key of all social life that occurs in communities (Tolaki Tribe) of mining area, Pomalaa. The purpose of this study is to determine the interaction of Tanah Toraja people in Tolaki Mekongga society and to know the local culture support in the welcoming of Tanah Toraja Society in Kolaka. This study uses qualitative method with phenomenological approach, in which the data collection method uses the participant observation and in-depth interviews by setting informants. The results of social interaction between Tator people and local communities basically run well, although sometimes hidden conflicts appear on the Tolaki Mekongga as local ethnic favoritism Tator in everyday life who are likely to be exclusive and luxurious, especially in the traditional rituals
The Construction of Culture Based on Local Wisdom in the Lives of Hizbut Tahrir and Ahmadiyya Followers in Konawe Selatan Regency
This study aims to investigate the implementation of religious life between Hizbut Tahrir and Ahmadiyah followers in South Konawe. The Islamic doctrines they understand influence the behavior of Hizbut Tahrir in religious life againstAhmadiyah followers in South Konawe. This study uses a qualitative along with phenomenological approach and there are two locations as the concentrations of the two beliefs: Wolasi in Ranowila village and Konda in Lamomea village. Islamic doctrines that affect the behavior of Hizbut-Tahrir religious life against Ahmadiyah followers in South Konawe are: a). Organizational Vision, b). Thought Reference Sources, c). PENCITRAAN PASANGAN JOKO WIDODO – BASUKI TJAHAJA PURNAMA DALAM IKLAN KAMPANYE VERSI “JAKARTA BARU” (Studi Analisis Semiotik Iklan Televisi)
The objective of this study is to analyze the meaning contained in communication symbols in the version of "New Jakarta" campaign advertisement of Joko Widodo - Tjahaja Basuki Purnama in television, how the messages conveyed through the advertisement sets the image of Joko Widodo - Tjahaja Basuki Purnama at Jakarta election 2012, and the perception of some viewers from the author point of view. This type of study is a qualitative descriptive using communication semiology analysis approach. As a descriptive study, it only describes the situation or discourse, does not look for a relationship, tests hypotheses or makes predictions. This study uses qualitative data so the data are substantive categories which are then interpreted by scientific references. In the data analysis, the author uses Roland Barthes' semiotic system with the concept of denotation and connotation as the first level, mythologies (myth) as the second level, as well as metonymy and metaphor as the concept of intertextual. The result of study show that the image of Joko Widodo - Tjahaja Basuki Purnama is found in the couple’s self-claim that they are agents of change who can bring people's expectations about the city of Jakarta into real, namely for a better condition of the road in the city, regular city planning, cleanness and flood prevention
STRATEGI KOMUNIKASI BIDAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PARTISIPASI IBU-IBU MENYUSUI DALAM PROGRAM ASI EKSKLUSIF DI JABON SIDOARJO
Government program of exclusive breastfeeding in the last few years shows failure. In the district of Sidoarjo, for example, the level of community participation in exclusive breastfeeding is still relatively low at about 22.8 percent of the announced target of 80 percent. It is interesting to study, therefore this study is aimed to investigate the use of midwives communication strategies to increase the participation of mothers in the exclusive breastfeeding program work in the health center (Puskesmas)in Jabon Sidoarjo. This qualitative descriptive study used snowball sampling techniques with in-depth interviews to key informants and respondents of thirty breastfeeding mothers in Jabon subdistrict of Sidoarjo. The results of this study are that the most dominant communication strategies used by midwives is two-way communication (face to face) with persuasion techniques and methods of redundancy. Midwives barriers consist of internal and external barriers. The internal resistance is reluctance to breastfeed for fear of the breasts are not beautiful anymore, people's understanding on the issue of healthy infants are assessed from the fat physical appearance, and that only a little milk that comes out. While the external resistance is that the babies are not satisfied with only breast milk, reason for working mothers, and the thought of the family, especially the parents, that formula milk is better. The participation rate of breastfeeding mothers is still in the third level, namely level of consultation
DISCOURSE KONSEP AGING DALAM MIRACLE MAGZ
Many anti aging advertisements depict women’s fear of growing old.Being old is always linked with weakness, helplessnes or other drawbacks. These makes people always try to look young. This research aims to look at how the media (in this case Miracle Magz) produce and reproduce the knowledge/information about aging and look at how the anti aging problems faced bywomen. The purpose was to find out how the media acred (in this case Miracle Magz) in producing and reproducing knowledge/ information about aging and to analyze the anti aging values which articulated in the media discourse as the answer towards the aging problem faced by women. The result showed that Miracle Magz build new knowledge/ information and change the readers paradigm about aging. When their feelings were hurt, their ego crushed, then they were given the simple solution to get out of any problems, without letting The Miracle Magz readers out of consumptive lifestyle. Each part of their body was made as if they were pieces of puzzles that could be separated from each other and each must be perfected
