Application de la chimie radicalaire des xanthates pour la synthèse de molécules organo-fluorées
No full textThis PHD thesis is divided in four chapters. The first bibliographic chapter presents the general principles of radical chemistry, the possibility offered by the xanthate radical chemistry and some general aspects of fluorine chemistry, main focus of this work. The second chapter is dedicated to the synthesis of highly functionnalized gem difluoro olefins. The method, involving three different steps, allow the transformation of a terminal alkene into a gem difluoro terminal alkene, with two new carbon atoms on the chain.The third chapter presents an original synthesis of a new family of organofluorine compounds : difluorothiochromans. This method relies on the use of a new fluorinated xanthate, whose synthesis is also presented. The latter may also be used for the preparation of gem difluoro olefins. Finally, the last chapter describes the synthesis and the use of a new precursor of chlorodifluoromethyl radicals. The synthesis of gem difluoro olefins, gem difluoro dienes and fluorinated heterocycles using this new precursor are discussed.Les travaux menés au laboratoire depuis plusieurs années ont permis d'élaborer une méthode de construction de liaison carbone-carbone et carbone-hétéroélément particulièrement efficace. Son principe repose sur des additions radicalaires intermoléculaires entre un xanthate et une oléfine. La maîtrise de telles réactions a permis l'émergence de nouvelles stratégies de synthèses. Entre autre, cette méthode s'avère particulièrement efficace pour l'insertion de groupes fluorés, de grande importance pour le secteur industriel. Ce manuscrit de thèse comporte trois parties, ainsi qu'une introduction bibliographique sur la chimie radicalaire classique, la chimie radicalaire des xanthate et la chimie du fluor. La première partie concerne l'optimisation de la synthèse d'un xanthate fluoré, et son utilisation pour la synthèse d'hétérocycles comportant la fonction gem-difluorométhyle. Dans une seconde partie, il est discuté de la mise au point de la synthèse d'un nouveau xanthate fluoré. L'addition radicalaire de ce xanthate sur une oléfine, suivi d'une cyclisation radicalaire sur le noyau aromatique, a permis l'accès rapide à des composés possédant le squelette difluorothiochromane, une nouvelle famille de molécules organofluorées. La très grande flexibilité en termes de variations structurales possibles sur les substrats de départs a été largement démontrée au travers des exemples choisis. Enfin, dans une dernière partie, il a rapporté la synthèse d'un nouveau précurseur de radicaux chlorodifluorométhyles, à partir de l'acide chlorodifluoro acétique. Cette nouvelle molécule a permis la mise au point d'une méthode rapide d'obtention d'alcènes et de diènes gem-difluorés. L'utilisation de ce xanthate pour la synthèse d'indolines s'est également montrée particulièrement efficace. De plus, une réaction inattendue entre ces indolines et une base organique a permis la découverte d'une nouvelle voie d'accès à des indoles portant une chaine gem-difluoroéthyle en position 3

On modular k-free sets

Beam-energy and system-size dependence of the space-time extent of the pion emission source produced in heavy ion collisions

The extracted radii, which are compared to recent STAR and ALICE data, show characteristic scaling patterns as a function of the initial transverse size of the collision systems and the transverse mass of the emitted pion pairs, consistent with hydrodynamiclike expansion. Specific combinations of the three-dimensional radii that are sensitive to the medium expansion velocity and lifetime, and the pion emission time duration show nonmonotonic dependencies. The nonmonotonic behaviors exhibited by these quantities point to a softening of the equation of state that may coincide with the critical end point in the phase diagram for nuclear matter
