    Kinship Social Capital and Entrepreneurship Development: A Comparative Study For Internal And International Migrant of Minangkabau Ethnic

    Kinship social capital can function as an important source of social capital for welfare and economic development. Kinship social capital has potency to improve entrepreneurship activity. Khinship social capital may provide some benefit as reducing transaction cost, facilitating access toward information, providing informal insurance and helping to solve collective action dilemma. There is one in Indonesia, in which it is popular called as Minangkabau and has strong norms and values in building entrepreneurship. Minangkabau society have high number and potency in entrepreneurship. Minangkabau tribe is one of the ethnics in Indonesia that have matrilineal system and as travelling ethnics. The purposes of this article are identifying and comparing kinds of social capital and its phase of effects toward entrepreneurship building of Minangkabau ethnic in internal and international Migrant. The respondents in this study are Minangkabau ethnic entrepreneurs in Jakarta (internal Migrant) and Minangkabau ethnic traveler entrepreneurs in Malaysia (international Migrant). The method used in this study is Structural Equation Model (SEM). Based on the estimated result, it is found that the two Minangkabau ethnic travel areas have differences and similarities in their social capital. The mutual interrelationship and activities are social capital that underlie entrepreneurship building in both internal and international migrants. Social capital that the Minangkabauan has does not affect the entrepreneurship building for the migrants

    Teaching and learning process at school should build any competence who student required, whether hard skill or emotional intelligence. Many students are competent in hard skill but weak in self-character. Character improvement need to apply in learning process at class. Emotional quotients education are able to integrated through fun learning, students don’t feel a pressure, comfortable in attending a lesson so good knowledge, skill and attitude are expected to reach. This study is aiming to investigate to see description of teacher point of view about activity done by teacher in teaching learning process at class to improve students’ emotional intelligence. The study utilizes qualitative approach which use case study towards 22 school teachers in Sijunjung, Indonesia. The data collection use guided interview, and data analysis conducted tematically by using Nvivo version 7.0. The result of the study describes that generally teachers who involve in this study yet conduct emotional intelligence developing score in integrated learning at class

    Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) should cultivate the practice of sharing knowledge among lecturers for the purpose of preserving knowledge. Knowledge sharing is a mechanism which can result in the establishment of knowledge repository. This repository enables knowledge deposited be retrieved for further usage other than a way for preserving knowledge in Institution of Higher Learning (IHLs). The Reuse of knowledge from repository can improve the teaching performance and innovation among lecturers. The knowledge sharing initiative among lecturers enable knowledge deposited be retrieved for further usage other than a way for preserving knowledge in Institution of Higher Learning (IHLs). However, knowledge sharing initiative has not been established base on any guide or framework. Furthermore, factors influencing the initiative to the teaching performance and innovation ought to be revealed since there is no such research has been carried out. It is the objective of this paper to propose a conceptual framework for knowledge sharing initiative in Public Institution of Higher Learning (IHLs) in Malaysia which eventually improve the teaching performance and innovation. Qualitative approach is adopted by means of reviewing the literature in the area. The technology, organization and environmental framework (TOE) was used as a base to propose the conceptual framework. It is discovered that knowledge sharing framework ought to be tailored according to the jurisdiction of IHLs. Such a framework could serve as a guideline for future planning in setting up knowledge sharing initiatives, particularly among lecturers later

    Small Micro Enterprises become solution for society to eradicating poverty, providing job vacancies and strengthening micro economic sector. One of weakness for MSMEs are budgeting management and decision maker in investment, especially in fixed assets becomes major problem, because the owner of MSMEs not all of them is well educated in business and investment. Because ineffective decision can effect their economic condition and business sustainability. So, it is a necessary to learn about analyzing investment by capital budgeting through Andragogy approachment for the owner of MSMEs. It is really important for society development. Andragogy learning is special methods that used for teach in grand training for adults. Majority of the MSME sectors are adults, so we need to provide special approachment. This type of research is qualitative used are qualitative methods. Most of the data were collected by reviewing and exploring a variety of theories and praxis through literatures. The results of this study indicate that MSMEs generally have a basic strategy of inadequate management, besides the lack of ability of MSMEs in terms of management and strategy led to business failures and difficult business to flourish.     Curvature Loss Optical Fiber Analysis of Head Passive Sensor on the Mandrell Fiber

    In this research, the curvature loss of optical fiber had been measured to be used as Head Passive sensors. This measurement produces the data in the form of output power from varying value of curvature radius. The length of optical cable is 2.173 m, the laser power is 0.53 mW and the power output of focal lens is 0.26 mW. The data obtained is an optical output power with radius of curvature from 1 cm until 20 cm. This will be determined curvature coefficient of weakening or loss. A variation of curvature radius that was tested from 1 cm to 20 cm with an increment step is 1 cm
