This research aim to assess the impact of agricultural development policies on shift the pattern of land distribution in South Sulawesi. The research was conducted in the village of Mojong in Sidrap Regency and Salo Dua Villages in Enrekang...
Performance of Genetically Modified Cotton: A Systematic Review Findings
The benefits of transgenic cotton continue to be disputed, despite rapid and widespread adoption since their commercial introduction in the United States in 1995 and first planted in 1996. Since the first debut on U.S cotton farms, biotech cotton rising growing area which mostly derived from the yield gain and increasing farmers income. There is a general belief that the development of cotton biotechnology will be a major factor in boosting productivity in agriculture around the world. This study aim to provide an overview of the current state of knowledge the performance of this technology worldwide based on a wide range of data and source from available literature. To this end, we investigated the benefits of implementing Genetically Modified Cotton in developing countries particularly in China and India as the systematic review which captured to provide the evidence of potential benefits of cotton biotechnology. In summary, this paper depicts positive impact of commercialized this technology in terms of net revenue and the benefits, especially in terms of increased yield, are greatets for the mostly farmers in China and India who have benefitted from the spill over of technology targeted at the farmers in developed countries

The Impact of Public Policy Implementation and Governor’s Leadership Toward The Effectiveness of Human Development Program Acceleration in West Java
In this paper, the effectiveness of human development program acceleration by public policy implementation and governors leadership described. The poor quality of human resources is the most fundamental weakness for many developing countries, including Indonesia. There are three parameters used to measure the human development achievement, which are: (1) level of health and length of age represented by Life Expectancy Rate; (2) education which is measured by literacy rate and education degree; (3) income which is measured by the level of people’s financial. Poor planning in making policy and poor Leadership in managing government were the factors of the officials’ ineffectiveness as policy implementer in actualizing each program and activity. Primary data source are obtained directly from the subject of human resources development in the province of West Java by using questionnaire. This secondary data are obtained through written source investigation from the related institutions, as well as others relevant sources. The population in this research is every part which is directly or indirectly involved in the funding program of acceleration competition increasing human development index in West Java Province. The Policy Implementation is hypothesized having a significant impact to leadership. The policy Implementation is hypothesized having significant impact to the effectiveness of human resources development. Leadership is hypothesized having significant impact to the effectiveness of human resources development. The Policy Implementation and Leadership are hypothesized collectively having significant impact to the effectiveness of human resources development
Facing Contemporary Nationalism
Our nationalism is not a nationalism arising from merely arrogance of a nation, it is a wide nationalism ;a nationalism arising from the knowledge of the history; it is not a "jingo nationalism", or chauvinism, and not a copy or imitation of the West nationalism. Our nationalism is a nationalism, who received a taste of life as the message .Our nationalism is the nationalism that makes us become "the instruments of the Lord" and make us alive in spirit. The sort of nationalism can be created from education, namely, learning history and the teacher
Analysis of The Factors That Affect The Repayment Rates KUR Micro (Case Study: PT. BRI Unit Ciampea, Bogor)
Small and medium micro businesses generally have limited capital, to overcome the problems the government makes a financing program known as KUR. The KUR program is that micro business doers of micro and can obtain loans .This study done in BRI Unit Ciampea , the election of research is done deliberately with the consideration that BRI Unit Ciampea is one of the largest Bank in distributing KUR micro agribusiness in Bogor. In addition to show a decrease in non-performing loans in December 2013 until March 2014 at 0.72 %, but in April 2014 until August 2014 increasing non-performing loans amounting to 2.84 %, then decline again until now reaching 1.15 %, the level of non-performing loans are also show the performance of the distribution of KUR in BRI Unit Ciampea already be above the level of non-performing loans at the BRI micro overall. This study aims to to analyze the factors that affect the rate of return in BRI Unit Ciampea KUR Micro. The analysis shows that a variable double linear regression that exert influence on the rate of return real micro KUR is the variable business experience, business turnover, received credit and experience the use of credit to venture .Where the four it has negative variable influence on the rate of return micro KUR. While variables such that the level of education, the distance a borrower 's house , the number of families to support, business assets and the tenor the repayment of credits not influence significantly to micro KUR the rate of return
The Effect of Corporate Social Responsibility Towards Mining Company Performance as The Key to World Activity
This research analyzes the effect of exposing corporate social responsibility program towards the Total Asset Turnover and the effect of corporate social responsibility program towards the Return on Assets. The background of this study was the lack of CSR program done by mining companies due to the lack of awareness towards the importance of conducting and exposing CSR programs for the annual report. The type of the research is a casual research with 34 companies as the population and the sample was 26 mining companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the year of 2011-2013. Sampling method used was purposive sampling. Results of the analysis shows normal classical assumption test was free of hetero-elasticity and auto-correlation
Comparison of Several Fusion Rule Based on Wavelet in The Landsat ETM Image
Remote sensing image quality and the improvement of remote sensing image position accuracy on Landsat ETM satellite is highly needed in term of remote sensing. Therefore, it is required one way or more to obtain the quality and accuracy of the image which uses image processing. Fusion technique is one of the image processing example that is using an existing descriptions to catch the result of image that can provide better information in the content. In this final task, multispectral images have high spectral information content and low spatial, also high spatial information content in panchromatic image that it is needed to do the image fusion in order to have a spectral information content and high spatial to compare the performance of some fusion rules wavelet-based on the multispectral image fusion and panchromatic imagery. The image used is Landsat ETM. The performance of image fusion rules is compared with the mean gradient parameters, mutual information, mean square error and correlation coefficient. Based on the test results, image fusion has an influence on the information content of multispectral imagery and panchromatic imagery, which is the spectral and spatial information content are getting better, the ratio of the 6 image fusion rules have inconsistent values of the three image testings to the mean gradient parameters, mutual information and mean square error and the results of image fusion of the fifth fusion rules on the correlation coefficient have a consistent value of the three image testings
The Study of Economic and Social Karst Region East Kutai Regency
Karst Mountains is a landscape of limestone mountains are concatenated to form a corridor-biodiversity, ecosystem where the lives of millions of species of flora and fauna supporting life balance. Geological conditions, geomofologis, and hydrological karst ecosystem make the area of karst ecosystems have different limitations in other areas such as volcanic regions, coastal areas, and alluvial plains region...
The Trace of Minangkabau-Wise in Malaysian Language
Malaysia is one of the seacoast regions of Minangkabau people. The overseas has started since 15th century. They are scattered in almost all regions of Malaysia. Gombak Selangor Darul Ehsan is one of the locations where they lived. This paper attempts to trace the Minangkabau-wise from a unit of language side, namely phonemes. The tracking is done by comparing the phonemes of Minangkabau language which is used in Bonjol under Pasaman Regency with Minangkabau Language which is used by Minang people especially from Bonjol who were migrated to Gombak, Malaysia. The comparison will obtained the tendency of phoneme behaviour among both of Minangkabau Language used by both community groups. The distinction suggests there has been a change in language. In addition, this paper also describes the factors that cause the changes
