ERROR ANALYSIS GEOMETRY QUESTIONS ON WORKING CLASS V SD / MI IN YOGYAKARTA
In 2013, the results of UAN for mathematics in primary schools / MI in DIY average value is lower than other subjects, namely Indonesian and IPA. The success of the sixth grade students work on problems UAN is inseparable from the ability of students to understand math at grade material underneath. Based on the experience of researchers, many teachers who have less correct geometry concepts. Of course this is an impact on students' understanding of geometrical concepts. So in this study will be examined whether the errors are mostly done by students in grade V on the geometry of the material, especially material area and perimeter of a flat wake. This research is qualitative descriptive field. Subjects were 43 fifth grade students who come from 4 SD / MI in the city of Yogyakarta. Data retrieval by providing written test questions, the essay form. The results showed that the most frequent errors are errors of type-1, which is a misconception. Another error is the fault of type-3, namely: writing mathematical notation and use of the unit
INCREASING THE VALUE OF SOCIAL AND ABILITY OF THE CONCEPT OF UNDERSTANDING WITH MEDIA MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION MINDSCAPE AND COOPERATIVE LEARNING
The purpose of this classroom action research was to improve social values and through mindscape media and cooperative learning. The research subjects were students of class C PGSD UAD, in the academic year of 2013/2014. The results of the study showed that students social values and multicultural education materials concept understanding improved after the implementation of learning actions through mindscape media and cooperative learning in three segments
STRENGTHENING OF CHARACTER WITH STUDENTS IN THE FAMILY ENGAGEMENT EDUCATION MUHAMMADIYAH
This study aimed to describe the implementation of character education that is applied in the Basic Education Muhammadiyah Surakarta through informal approach. Developed a character education in elementary involve informal education conducted at home. The main method developed in this study is descriptive-qualitative-reflective. The technique of collecting data through observation and in-depth interviews were actively involved with the teachers, parents/ guardians, and elementary school students. Data were analyzed with snowball technic of analysis models Milles Huberman. Character education involving families in the educational environment of Muhammadiyah implemented with the collaboration of school and family. Some of the programs implemented by schools include: parenting day, outbound together, study, home visit, parents and guardians of students meeting. In these activities, parents, students, and teachers get a refresher on the importance of strengthening the character and variety of information about character education
IMPLEMENTATION OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING IN EFFORTS TO INCREASE CLASS V SCIENTIFIC ATTITUDE IN NATURAL SCIENCE LEARNING IN PRIMARY SCHOOL
ABSTRACTThis research purpose to increase the scientific attitude in the fifth grade students learning sains through the application of Problem Based Learning in Elementary School Caturtunggal 7 Depok Sleman, Yogyakarta. The subject of this research is the fifth grade elementary school students Caturtunggal 7 Depok, Sleman, amounting to 16 students. This type of research is Classroom action research are held in two cycles of action. Data collection instruments used were sheets of observation, interviews, and camera digital. The validity of the instruments is done through expert judgment. The data have been collected were analyzed by descriptive quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative descriptive analysis was used to compare the percentage of the value of each student step by step. The results showed that with applied Problem Based Learning in sains learning can increase students scientific attitude fifth grade in Elementary school Caturtunggal 7 Depok Sleman, Yogyakarta. This is indicated by the increasing number of students who scored higher than 75% of the initial condition until the second cycle. At the beginning there were 4 students (25%) reached KKM. The average grade achieved is 51.93. In cycle I have 9 students (56.25%) reached KKM. The average grade achieved was 66. In the second cycle there were 13 students (81.25%) reached KKM. The average grade achieved is 77.56
