    The research objectives are to determine the effect of learning method and environmental perception onawareness of marine conservation. The research was accomplished toward students of the Sekolah Tinggi IlmuPelayaran, Jakarta with factorial 2x2 design.The results are: (1) Awareness of marine conservation between on job trainning method and simulationtraining method have significant difference. (2) Students with higher of environmental perception, awareness ofmarine conservation between on the job training method and simulation training method have not significantdifference. (3) Students with lower of environmental perception, awareness of marine conservation between onthe job training method and simulation training method have not significant difference. (4) There is aninteraction effect between learning method and environmental perception on awareness of marine conservation.Therefore, in enhancing students’ awareness of marine conservation, using learning method and by controllingenvironmental perception should be taken in consideration

    The objective of this research is to analyze the effects of knowledge about environmental law andassessment of government regulations on industrial doers’ participation in managing the industrial area inSingkawang city. The sample of this research were 48 persons which randomly taken. The data were analyzed byusing ANAVA 2 X 2. Findings of the research indicated that the industrial doers who were knowledgeable aboutenvironmental law and had positive assessment of government regulations participated better in industrialmanagement than those who had negative assessment. Therefore, the two variables should be taken intoconsideration to increase the doers’ participation in managing industrial area

    The development of knowledge and techonology increases the quality of human life. However, it may causeproblems of the environment is damaged due to the lack of environmental awareness. One of the ways toovercome the problems is by integrating environmental education in Biology subject for SMA students. Thisexperimental research was intended to study the effects of learning methodes and student creativity on studentenvironmental knowledge. The study was carried out at SMA Negeri Surakarta 2009 involving 10th gradestudents. Results were as follow: 1) Students who were taught through problem-based learning (PBL) methodhad better knowledge of environment than those through telling method, 2) Students with any levels (high levelor low level) of creativity had better knowledge of environment if they were taught through PBL method, 3)There was a significant interaction between learning method used and student creativity and their environmentalknowledge

    The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of gender differences on pro environmental behavior among employees of Directorate General Binapenta and PKK, Ministry of Manpower. Samples of 126 respondents were taken by taking a simple random sampling technique from the employees. This research used non test instruments, measuring pro environmental behavior. The research results show that there were diffences of pro environmental behavior which affected by the gender.. Based on the result, the pro environmental behaviors of female employees are better than male employees. Therefore, in order to improve pro environmental behavior of employees, gender of the employees should be considered as influential factors

    The objective of this research was to understand comprehensively about the child’s perception towards parents’ parenting and self-concept with responsibility environmental behavior on college students of academy of management and secretary of BSI in Central Jakarta. It was a quantitative research conducted in a private educational academy in Central Jakarta. The data were collected through participant observation using questionnaire. The data searched by the researcher use correlational approach with survey technique. The data analysis and interpretation indicates that (1)the correlation between child’s perception towards parent’s parenting and responsibility environment behavior on college students are positive and significant with the result of correlation is 0,327.(2) the correlation between self-concept and responsibility environment behavior on college students are positive and significant with the result of correlation is 0,360. Some efforts which have to be done by parents dealing with child’s perception towards parenting are keep communicating with children as many as possible frequently, put trust well on them doing their lives, keep controlling by distance so that parents still understand what they are doing outside, etc. Regarding to self-concept there are many ways to be given to students such as giving training, counselling, put confidence on them, giving them skills well, etc

    This study aims to determine the relationship between spiritual intelligence and knowledge of environmental issues with pro environmental behavior.  The instrument used in this research is non test instrument that is questionnaire spiritual variable of intelligence and behavior and test knowledge about environmental issues. This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) school students of class XI 1n 2017 with total sample of 70 student was taken by using random sampling technique, linear regression method and simple linear regression. Hypothesis statistic test is doneatthe level of significance 0,05. The conclusions is the higher the spiritual intelligence and knowledge of environmental issues simultaneously the higher the pro  behavior of the environment

    The objective of this research is to know the effect of level interpersonal communication,enviromental knowledge and motivation increasing income which participation people in eternal a tour. Theresearch is done by using survey method to 80 respondents are inhabitants around Danau Toba from 2 (two)district; Simalungun and Samosir, North Sumatera.The results this research are : 1. There is direct effect of interpersonal communication to people’smotivation increasing income; 2. There is direct effect of enviromental knowledge to people’s motivationincreasing income; 3. There is direct effect of interpersonal communication to people’s participation ineternal a tour; 4. There is direct effect of environmental knowledge to people’s participation in eternal ator; 5. There is direct effect of people’s motivation increasing income to people’s participation in eternal atour.Results of this research give implication that people’s participation to eternal a tour is highlydetermined by interpersonal communication, environmental knowledge, and motivation increasing income

    THE INFLUENCE OF LEARNING STRATEGIES AND STYLES OF THOUGHT ON THE ABILITY OF STUDENTS TO SOLVE ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS

    This study aims to determine the effect of learning models and styles of thought on the ability of students to solve environmental problems. The study was conducted in SMP 21 Bekasi during August 2012 to May 2013 academic year 2012/2013. This study used an experimental method, with 2 x 2 factorial designs. Variable research include learning model as an independent variable, style of thinking as a control variable, and the ability of students to solve environmental problems as the dependent variable. Sampling techniques using multistage random sampling, a class VIII-2 obtained as an experimental class and class as the control class VIII-1. The results showed that: First, the ability of students to solve environmental problems learning with instructional strategies ekperiensial higher than students using expository. Second, the ability of students to think accommodative style in solving environmental problems is higher than students think assimilative style. Third, the ability of students to solve environmental problems that have accommodative learning style with experiential learning strategies are higher than students who learned with expository learning strategies. Fourth, the ability of students to solve environmental problems that have assimilative learning style with instructional strategies expository higher than students who study with experiential learning strategies.Fifth, the interaction between learning strategy and thinking styles affect students' ability to solve environmental problems. This means that the effect of the interaction between learning strategy and thinking styles affect the level of students' abilities to solve environmental problems. The conclusion of this study is that students are given learning with experiential learning model has the ability to solve environmental problems is higher compared with the gain ekpositori learning

    PENGARUH EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING DAN PENGETAHUAN PEMBANGUNAN BERKELANJUTAN TERHADAP BERPIKIR ANALITIK MASALAH LINGKUNGAN

      This study aims at investigating effects of experiential learning strategy and knowledge of sustainable development concept toward students’ analytical thinking ability about environmental issues. An experimental method with 2x2 factorial design was employed in this quantitative study which was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Ternate. Samples of the study were 52 students of  grade IX of Social Sciences selected by means of random sampling. Data analysis shows that: 1. In general, students using experiential learning strategy with outdoor approach have higher average score on analytical thinking ability about environmental issues than those with indoor approach, 2. Students having high knowledge level in sustainable development concept and using outdoor approach have higher average score on analytical thinking ability about environmental issues than those with indoor approach, 3. Students having low knowledge level in sustainable development concept and using indoor approach have higher average score on analytical thinking ability about environmental issues than those with outdoor approach, 4. There are significant interaction effects between experiential learning strategy and knowledge of sustainable development concept toward students analytical thinking ability about environmental issues

    The objective of this research is to study the relationship between the employee’s knowledge of environment, their careness for environment, and their work ethics in the process of supporting the Environment Health and Safety program at PT Enggal Sukses Perkasa. This company, which is located in Bekasi, West Java, is Astra Group’s industrial manufacture subcontractor which has participated in Small-Medium Entrepreneurs-Astra Green Company (SME’s-AGC) training conducted by Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra.This research applies survey method, by combining two forms of questionnaires: test and non-test. The result of this research shows that: The employee’s knowledge of environment has a positive and significant relation with the employee’s roles in supporting the Environment Health & Safety program, the employee’s careness for environment has a positive and significant relation with the employee’s roles in supporting the Environment Health & Safety program, the employee’s work ethics has also a positive and significant relation with employee’s roles in supporting Environment Health & Safety program. The employee’s knowledge of environment, their careness for environment, and their work ethics, all together have a positive and significant relationship with employee’s roles in supporting the Environment Health & Safety program. Therefore, it can be assumed that the more knowledge of environment, the more careness that employees has for environment, and their work ethics, the more participative they will be in supporting the Environment Health& Safety program in their company
