PRODUKSI PEKTIN DARI KULIT JERUK NIPIS (Citrus aurantifolis S) DENGAN INTERAKSI SUHU DAN LAMA EKSTRAKSI
Lime rind is agricultural waste. Its existence is easy to find, especially in restaurants or food stalls. Lime rind still has the potential to be processed, including the extraction process to obtain pectin. This study aims to determine the right temperature and extraction time in order to obtain the best yield and quality of pectin from lime rind. This research was held in the laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Technology, especially the laboratory for processing food products and the laboratory of the Manado Industrial Research and Standardization Center. This research is a laboratory research using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with two factors, those are the extraction temperature of 60 ° C, 80 ° C, and 100 ° C and the extraction time of 30, 60 and 90 minutes with three replications. The observations made were pectin yield, methoxyl content, moisture content and ash content. The results showed that the temperature of 80 ° C and the extraction time of 60 minutes produced the best pectin with a methoxyl content of more than 7%, a moisture content of 9.73-13.77% and an ash content below 10%
ANALISIS KELAYAKAN DAN SENSITIVITAS USAHA PEMBIBITAN KRISAN TEKNIK STEK PUCUK (Studi Kasus Penangkar Bibit Krisan di Kakaskasen Dua)
This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility and sensitivity of the chrysanthemum seeding business using shoot cutting techniques if there is a change in seed production, selling price of seeds and cost of seedling production. The research was conducted using a case study method on chrysanthemum breeders with shoot cutting techniques in Kakaskasen Dua from August to October 2020. Data were collected through interviews and field observations. The data analysis usedin this research are financial feasibility analysis with investment criteria of NPV value, Net B/C, IRR, PP and sensitivity analysis. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the chrysanthemum seeding business using shoot cuttings in Kakaskasen Dua is considered profitable, so it is feasible to continue as a solution to meet the demand for chrysanthemum seedlings. The limit for reducing the production of chrysanthemum cuttings that are still tolerable so that businesses do not lose money is 11.77%, the limit for decreasing the selling price of seeds is up to 11.77% and the limit for increasing the cost of producing seeds is up to 19.08%
FAKTOR PENYEBAB ALIH FUNGSI LAHAN PERTANIAN DI KAWASAN WISATA PUNCAK TETEMPANGAN (Studi Kasus: Desa Koha Kecamatan Mandolang Kabupaten Minahasa)
This research aims to determine the factors causing the conversion of agricultural lands in Koha Village, Mandolang District, Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from November 2019 to July 2020. The types of data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from interviews with respondents using questionnaires while secondary data was obtained from previous research literature. The data analysis method in this research is descriptive analysis which is presented in tabular form. The method of determining the sample using the Purposive Sampling method. Respondents taken are land owners who convert agricultural land functions. The results showed that the conversion of agricultural land was influenced by 2 factors, namely (1) External Factors, where the high selling price of land was influenced by the strategic location of the land because the land was intended for tourist attractions so that the selling price was high. (2) Other internal factors, where some respondents use the proceeds from the sale for business capital and some respondents transfer the function of their agricultural land because there is no one to take care of it and the respondent's education level is influential in the negotiation process for selling agricultural land
ANALISIS PERUBAHAN PENGGUNAAN LAHAN TERHADAP PERUBAHAN ZONA NILAI TANAH DI KECAMATAN MAPANGET KOTA MANADO PROVINSI SULAWESI UTARA
This research aims to describe land use changes and land value zone changes, analyze land use changes to land value zone changes from 2014 to 2019, and predict land use changes for 5 (five) years from 2020 to 2025 in Mapanget District. The analytical methods used in this research are spatial analysis and trend analysis. KEADAAN KELOMPOK TANI HUTAN RIN PAMU PENYADAP GETAH PINUS DI DESA TOMBASIAN ATAS SATU KECAMATAN KAWANGKOAN BARAT KABUPATEN MINAHASA
This study aims to identify and describe the condition of the Rin Pamu forest farmer group tapping pine resin in Tombasian Atas Satu Village, Kawangkoan Barat District, Minahasa Regency. Condition are the situation in pine resin tapping related to labor, transportation, road access, income, companiy, government and environmental conditions. The research was conducted from March to May 2021. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data. Sampling used purposive sampling method. Interview conducted to 7 forest farmers as informants. The method used in this study is a descriptive method through a qualitative approach. The research results showed that workers from forest farmer groups still need to be assisted by expert workers, from company, to improve the quality of the tapped pine resin, the transportation used by members of the tapping farmer groups is a trail bike that has been modified to suit the conditions of steep unpaved road access, the income earned by the tappers is in accordance with the number of days they go to tap so that they tend to be unstable, the company is a partner of forest farmers who provide assistance and equipments, the government provides permits and equipments and environmental conditions, especially in hot weather, the amount of pine resin that is tapped. more than rainy and windy weather.*eprm
KEADAAN PETANI JAGUNG PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI DESA TOLOMBUKAN SATU KECAMATAN PASAN KABUPATEN MINAHASA TENGGARA (STUDI KASUS KELOMPOK TANI NAFIRI JAYA)
This study aims to determine the corn farming situation in the Nafiri Jaya farmer group regarding land area, capital, seeds, fertilizer, labor, and income of corn farmers during the Covid-19 pandemic in the village. Tolombukan Satu, Pasan Sub-District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted for 3 months from November 2020 – February 2021. The data used were primary data and secondary data. Primary data collection through interviewed with questionnaires to 10 corn farmers as respondents. Secondary data obtained from related agencies. They are village office, Pasan sub-district office, internet, books and journal articles. Data analysis carried out in this research is descriptive analysis in the form of tables, diagrams and descriptive. The results showed that the condition of corn farmers during the COVID-19 pandemic decreased concerning the size of the area to plant corn, the amount of capital used for production, the number of corn seeds, the amount of fertilizer, the number of workers working in the corn farmland, and corn farmer income.*eprm
ANALISI NILAI TAMBAH KACANG SANGRAI UD. MERPATI DI DESA TOMBASIAN ATAS KECAMATAN KAWANGKOAN BARAT
The purpose of this research is to analyze the value added of raw peanuts to roasted peanuts. This research was conducted at UD. “Merpati†at Tombasian Atas Village, West Kawangkoan Sub-district. Primary data collection is done through direct interviews, with the help of a list of questions, to the owner who is a entrepreneur and manager of the roasted peanuts processing industry and to employees. Added value is the difference in the value of output with the value of the main raw materials and the contribution of other inputs (IDR/ kg). ANALISIS PENDAPATAN USAHATANI BAWANG DAUN DI DESA MANEMBO KECAMATAN PASSI TIMUR KABUPATEN BOLAANG MONGONDOW
This study aims to analyze the income of leek farming in Manembo Village, Passi Timur Sub-district, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research lasted for 2 months, from November to December 2019. Sampling in this study was carried out by simple random sampling method with a number of respondents were 25 leek farmers. Primary data were collected through direct interviews using a list of questions (questionnaires) that have been prepared. Secondary data were obtained from the literature related to this research and related institutions. Data analysis used in this research is to use quantitative descriptive analysis and expenditure (production costs) to analyze the income of leek farming. The results showed that the income of onion farming in Manembo Village, East Passi District, Bolaang Mongondow District per farmer on average was IDR. 2,688,800.- *eprm
PERAN KELOMPOK TANI ESA ATE DALAM USAHATANI JAGUNG DI KELURAHAN MAPANGET BARAT KECAMATAN MAPANGET KOTA MANADO
The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Esa Ate Farmer Group in Corn Farming in Mapanget Barat Village, Mapanget District, Manado City, North Sulawesi Province. The research conducted from July 2019 to September 2019. Respondent selection method was Census which is all members of the Esa Ate Farmer Group, as respondent, consisting of administrators and members with a total of 15 people. Primary data collection methods were obtained from interviews and questionnaires. The research method used is a Likert scale analysis method. Whereas secondary data was obtained from the Mapanget West Kelurahan Office of Mapanget Sub-District, Manado City, North Sulawesi Province. The results showed that the Interval Criteria were on a scale of 45 to 135 or with a role status with a percentage interpretation of 60%. This shows that the Esa Ate Farmer Group still has a role both as the Learning Class and the Cooperative Forum and also has a role in procuring production facilities within the Esa Ate Farmer Group.*eprm*Â
PEMBERDAYAAN PENGRAJIN BAMBU DI KELURAHAN KINILOW KECAMATAN TOMOHON UTARA KOTA TOMOHON
This study aims to determine the empowerment of bamboo craftsmen in Kinilow Village. The research was conducted from October to December 2019. The data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through interview surveys using questionnaires and documentation. Secondary data were obtained from literature studies and related agencies, namely the Tomohon Industry and Trade Office and the Kinilow Urban Village government. The sampling method was purposive (purposive sampling) on 7 respondents of bamboo craftsmen in Kinilow Village. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis and the data obtained are presented in tabular form. The results showed that the process of empowering bamboo craftsmen in Kinilow Village occurred through the implementation of empowerment which included the awareness and behavior formation stage, the knowledge transformation stage, and the intellectual ability improvement stage. The implementation of empowerment is carried out through entrepreneurship training which includes two objectives, namely providing counseling to improve product quality and providing training in product development skills and marketing strategies.
