ORCID iD: Jak chytře nastavit a efektivně využít svůj profil výzkumníka
No full textORCID iD slouží k jednoznačné a trvalé identifikaci všech osob zapojených do výzkumu. Díky ORCID iD lze odlišit autory se stejným nebo podobným jménem a propojit je s jejich publikacemi, výzkumnými daty či jinými výsledky vědecké činnosti. Tento identifikátor zajišťuje spolehlivost a viditelnost výzkumných výstupů a jejich vazbu na konkrétní tvůrce. Webinář pro zájemce z ústavů AV ČR byl zaměřen na praktické, jednoduché a rychlé vytvoření a efektivní nastavení ORCID profilu vč. propojení záznamů o publikacích, přidávání afiliací, propojení s vybranými databázemi a nastavení automatických aktualizací. Vysvětleny byly role důvěryhodných osob a organizací a značky důvěryhodnosti. Zazněly odpovědi na vybrané FAQ. Účastníci webináře byli také seznámeni s činností Národního centra ORCID, které podporuje české instituce při integraci a efektivním využívání ORCID
The Role of Persistent Identifiers (PIDs) in Promoting FAIR in Indonesia
No full textCollaborations between global PID infrastructure providers and Indonesian stakeholders, including the government and grassroots communities, contributed to support for the development and standardization of PIDs in Indonesian research. Indonesia's PIDs have a wide range of applications in local research products, contributing to research and supporting the open science movement. However, there is an urgent need to educate wider researchers, institutions, and legislators on the significance and efficient use of PIDs in achieving open science objectives. In this presentation, we will explore these points in greater detail, specifically examining the policies and procedures related to data and research outputs in Indonesia

Finally, a moderated panel of PID advocates will share insights and answer questions on building support for PID infrastructure. Attendees will come away with practical ideas for how to win over the skeptics and make the case for PIDs from within their own organizations and institutions

Fostering Scholarly Infrastructure through PIDs to Mobilize the Science as an Open Enterprise: Lessons from Data-Repositories in India
Get PDFThis presentation entails how to develop scholarly infrastructure through persistent identifiers (PIDs) with the application of relevant schemas viz. Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), Persistent Uniform Resource Locators (PURLs), National Bibliography Numbers (NBNs), Archival Resource Keys (ARKs), and CNRI Handles. It also emphasizes the extensive uses of each schema with their purpose and possible strategies for implementing PIDs with the need for organizational support. Eventually, it demonstrates an approach of FAIRness through global infrastructure by linking digital objects with DataCite services, researchers with ORCiD, and organizations with ROR to discover the resources persistently and sustainability. So this presentation (focusing on a prototype investigation) illustrates how PIDs are being practiced toward maintaining the FAIRness of data-repositories in India and mobilizing the science as an open-enterprise

Cílem účasti bylo představit příspěvek o inovativních změnách v rozvíjení akademické gramotnosti v Národní technické knihovně. Účastníci se zapojili do prohlídek knihoven a diskusí o roli AI ve vzdělávání, měnících se odpovědnostech knihoven a rozvoji digitální gramotnosti. Konference zdůraznila integraci AI do vzdělávání a její dopad na akademické praktiky.The 11th Creating Knowledge 2024 conference in Helsinki, held from 5-7 June 2024, focused on "Responsibility in the Digital Information Environment." The aim of participation was to present a paper on innovative changes in developing academic literacy at the National Technical Library. Participants engaged in library tours and discussions about the role of AI in education, the changing responsibilities of libraries, and the development of digital literacy.
