Improved communication skills of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder using Augmented Reality based on PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System)
PECS is a method for developing communication using images to exchange desired objects according to the image, especially for children with autism with non-verbal abilities. PECS has many advantages over other communication learning methods that can encourage autistic children to communicate well. Besides having many advantages, the PECS method itself has many disadvantages. The research conducted was to build an application specifically designed for children with autism by correcting the deficiencies that exist in learning with the PECS method. The application is designed with the guidance of an expert Psychologist Children with Special Needs and refers to previous studies as reference material for application interface design. Application testing involves 4 autistic children from 2 different SLBs. Tests are carried out 2 times for each child to find out the progress of application utilization. The test results show that the proposed application is in accordance with the aesthetic design of the MDA framework that is designed so that it is truly able to be accepted by autistic children while also having a positive impact on them, as well as being able to create a learning environment that is more enjoyable both for children with autism and for teachers
Quality of Service Gateway Load Balancing Protocol Message Digest algorithm 5 Authentication For Network Quality Enhancement
Gateway Load Balancing Protocol (GLBP) Message-Digest algorithm 5 (MD5) is a Cisco's proprietary protocol. GLBP used to enhance the Quality of Service(QoS) on a network. It applies the IP Address Gateway Virtual that redundancy on the local network. GLBP run all used routers in time because of load balancing itself, there is no router used as a standby/backup only. Using the GLBP protocol, all network loads are shared equally to all connected routers. The way the GLBP network works is different from how the HSRP and VRRP networks work, which will run the standby/backup router if the active / master router experiences a problem (failover). The average time needed to redundancy the master to router backup router is 7.6 ms. While the average time needed to change from standby router redundancy to master router redundancy or the master router reused is 33.4 Ms. The average packet loss obtained when the redundancy of the active router change to standby router is 1.7 packet, and The average packet loss obtained when the redundancy of the active router change to standby router is 1.7 packet and 0.5 packets in opposite ways
Vital Sign Monitoring in ICU Patients Based on MEWS (Modified Early Warning Score) with IOT (Internet of Things)
Vital signs are signs that show important functions of the human body, from these signs can be known whether a person is relatively healthy, has a serious illness, or suffers from a life-threatening disorder. Vital signs are the value of physiological functions consisting of blood pressure, temperature, oxygen saturation, pulse and respiratory rate. Vital sign monitoring tools researchers used four parameters, namely blood preasure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, and body temperature. The tool uses the IoT (Internet of Things) system, where this tool uses sensors used, namely the DS18B20 temperature sensor, the Heart Rate sensor and the SPO2 MAX 30100 sensor, the OMRON HME-7130 sensor, the ESP 32 microcontroller as a data processor and Wi-Fi connection. The patient's vital condition data will be displayed on the android smartphone and on the mydevices.com WEB page. This tool is rule-based with a Modified Early Warning Score (MEWS) system to determine the status of patients and assist medical personnel in monitoring the vital parameters of patient signs in real time at each location and responding quickly and precisely so as to improve the quality of life of patients. Comparison using patient monitor tools, body temperature measurements produce the highest and lowest percentage of error that is 0.19% and 0.08% with an average temperature of 36.06ºC and 35.96ºC, then heart rate measurements obtained the highest and lowest percentage of errors of 0.08% and 0.3% with an average heart rate of 74 bpm and 87.3. Then the measurement of SpO2 obtained the highest and lowest percentage of error of 1% and 0% with an average SpO2 of 97% and 97.3%, then the NIBP measurement obtained the highest and lowest percentage of error systole / diastole of 7.4% / 7.2% with NIBP with an average systole / diastole of 109.6 / 64 mmHg and the lowest error percentage is 0.3% / 1.1% with an average NIBP of 125 / 62.3 mmHg. Data transmission to the internet using the cayene application on Android smartphones and WEB is greatly influenced by the quality of the connection from the internet network. Fuzzy Logic Based Incubator Temp And Humid Level Controller Prototype
Younger babies born with low body weight are increasingly critical and at risk for these babies. To overcome this problem, we need a device of medical equipment that can replace uterine function, whose condition is like that of a baby still in the womb of his mother. Temperature, humidity, oxygen, sound and light levels for the development of the most suitable low birth weight babies. Not only the temperature, humidity and noise factors that must be considered, but also pay attention to other problems that can interfere with baby's health, among others; Factors such as skin that directly contact family members also contribute to disease in infants, because baby's skin is still very sensitive, and has the potential to become infected. Babies with very low birth weight have a very high risk, especially when they feel cold. When a baby experiences heat loss, creating a physiological response that exceeds that of a normal baby, physiological balance will be severely disrupted, this is because the baby needs to expend energy and metabolize oxygen to produce its own heat. The purpose of using an incubator is to create a very stable environment so that the birth of a baby with a low body weight can maintain a constant body temperature. In designing the incubator must pay attention to the condition of the humidity in the chamber, for the sensitivity of the chamber temperature is relatively easier but if the conditions of dry humidity will greatly affect the health of the baby. Ideal moisture loss will cause transepidermal water loss (TEWL) in premature infants. From the results of the Overall System Measurement and Research conducted in RSUP Dr. Sarjito on April 23, 2019. This location was chosen because the place has a temperature, humidity and noise level that is stable enough so that it is suitable for the location of the baby incubator
JSON Implementation with Zlib Compression for Database Efficiency in Handling Dynamic Upload Multiple Images
In this era, in an application it is often found that a dynamic input form is a form that can be filled in a lot of data, the application user is free to fill the data according to his wishes. To handle this dynamic input form, the developer usually adds a new table in a database specifically for storing dynamic data, it has the potential to waste tables and records in a database. Applying the JSON conversion technique is a solution to overcome this, dynamic data is stored in a special field so that the use of tables and records can be minimized, as well as to compress the JSON string length applied by the Zlib algorithm. In this study, dynamic data is a images file uploaded on an input form. The results of this study in the case of handling multiple dynamic form upload images shows that the JSON conversion technique is better than conventional techniques in terms of faster data storage speeds of 72.6%, in terms of simpler database structures, and in terms of 22.7% more data size small, so database management becomes more efficient
Efficiency of Electrical Energy in Building Base on DSM with AHP Method
In the modern world, electrical energy is very important to support all activities in office buildings, educational facilities, industrial complexes and household activities. The problem that occurs in the use of electricity is the lack of understanding of energy conservation from the consumer side. This causes the waste of electrical energy. An alternative solution to this problem is an effort to make efficient use of electrical energy from the consumer side. By applying Demand Side Management (DSM) to the building, an efficient and rational use of electrical energy is obtained. To implement DSM it is necessary to conduct an energy audit of the building. By conducting an energy audit then Energy Use Intensity (EUI) and the profile of electrical energy usage is obtained. After EUI and the energy use profile are known then energy policy recommendations are determined in the building. By using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) an alternative set of decisions is made that is right in reducing electricity consumption so that it reaches the desired efficiency point in accordance with building management policies The results of processing from AHP obtained an alternative set of electrical energy efficiency according to its weight is the regulation of the use of office facilities by 48.5%, maintenance of existing equipment by 31.1%, utilization of new energy-saving technologies by 20.4%. A Review of Blockchain: How Does It Work, Applications, and Challenges
Behind Bitcoin’s, there is a technology that becomes its fundamental part, which is Blockchain. Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency in the world. At present, blockchain technology is the subject of discussion and research among developers, business people and researchers. Basically, blockchain technology functions as a digital 'ledger' that records every transaction that occurs and what makes blockchain interesting is, data that has been recorded in it cannot be changed. Furthermore, various blockchain-based applications began to emerge, and are used in various fields, the first to implements blockchain technology is digital currency transactions, other fields, such as the Internet of Things, government, health services, education, and industries. However, like other emerging technologies, blockchain technology still faces several challenges such as scalability and security. To deepen the knowledge about blockchain technology, a literature study is needed using the Literature Review method. This research uses literature sources from Scopus reputable institutions, Thomson Reuters / Web of Science, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), EBSCO, and Google Scholar. Feasibility Study: Online Learning for Supporting Rural Renewable Energy Projects
Indonesian government set the target for new and renewable energy (NRE) is expected to be 23% in 2025 and 31% in 2050, where in 2017, NRE was only 12,5%. Building a new and renewable energy project is the easy part. Keeping the generator working over time, however, is a complex business that requires money, training and innovative thinking. One of essential parameters that can help in achieving a successful sustainable project is community involvement. If the community feels a strong sense of ownership, they'll see their generator as a critical asset to everyone and take good care of it collectively. Training and educating the community about how to take care of the generator after the project construction has completed becomes important. Considering Indonesia’s geographical location, e-learning might be a potential tool to reduce training and education cost in new and renewable project. This study aims to identify whether e-learning is an effective and efficient method to deliver training material and educate local people which will improve renewable energy project’s sustainability in Indonesia
Real Time Monitoring for Drowsiness and Emergency Detection on Riders Using XD-58C Sensor
Drowsiness that felt by the driver will affect the security of someone when driving. It can be seen that many accidents cause death due to drowsiness when driving. Due to the effects of fatigue after some busy activities and the responsibility to keep going home. However, this is not supported by the motorist's awareness of not continuing the journey and resting for a while until the physical condition returns to normal. So to reduce the number of accidents that occurred needed a capable tool of detecting sleepiness through the state's heartbeat using a heartbeat sensor (XD-58C) to the rider who can awaken directly by using vibration motors and buzzer, and if an emergency occurs, namely when the driver crashed, the tool will send point location via SMS to the families, hospitals and police stations using GSM module SIM800L, point locations that are read by an integrated GPS module with microcontroller arduino during an accident that can be used by the driver. SIMBOX Identification Using K-Nearest Neighbor Based On Spectrum Analyzer
Telecommunication Service Provider should deal with illegal players (grey operators) who do not have permission to conduct international voice service. These illegal players perform their activities by passing international incoming traffic using Simbox devices. To identify visual simbox usage is very difficult and less reliable, therefore by using spectrum analyzer and K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) method is one way to identify simbox usage. The attributes used in the identification process are Location / Document, Strong Frequency Signal, and by applying K-NN algorithm based on proximity of training data with data testing. The determination of this attribute is based on GSM DCS 1800 MHz uplink frequency measurement in Cilacap and Banyumas area. The identification process was conducted on six frequencies points on 18 data with the largest signal strength as training data. Moreover, the signal strength data testing by using 32 data gives result 81.25% accuracy.
