    Identifikasi Kandungan Ekstrak Kayu Jati Menggunakan Py-GCMS

    Teak wood (Tectona grandis Lf.) in the form of sawdust a byproduct/waste from the furniture industry has a considerable amount and has not been utilized optimally. This study aims to determine the content of extractive teak wood (Tectona grandis Lf.). The method used is the hot water solubility. Muna\u27s teak wood powder weighing 4,076 g soaked in distilled water as much as 100 ml glass flask, then heated in a water bath at a temperature of 100 oC for 3 hours. The content of extractive dissolved in a liquid further characterized using Py-GCMS. Results of the analysis of Py-GCMS to extract teak wood showed concentrations of some substances, such as Carbamic acid (70,70%), mono ammonium salt (CAS) Ammonium carbamate (70,70%), Acetic acid (CAS) Ethylic acid (10,52%), Acetic acid (CAS) Ethylic acid (2,35%), Acetic acid (CAS) Ethylic acid (3,26%), and Phenol (CAS) Izal (13,17%

    The Objective of research to acknowledge the hypothesis: outreach islamic microfinance for the poor household of agricultural sector at rural Bogor West Java. The majority of the poor community in Indonesia stay at rural areas. Lack of access credit/financing generally seen as one of the main reasons why many people remain poor. Credit/financing as a powerful instrument to help poor people break out of the vicious cycle because it has the potential to improve income and savings, consequently, enhance capital accumulation, and reinforce high incomes, but providing credit to the poor of agricultural sector in many cases is a very costly activity. Bank isn’t interest to serve it. Hopefully, islamic microfinance institutions reaches to more the poor of agricultural sector. The average loan is the most commonly used to measure the degree of microfinance institutions (MFIs) outreach to poor customer segments, but it is very simple. Using the CGAP (Consultative Group to assist the poorest) method, the poverty multidimension of islamic microfinance outreach was measured.     Sweet potato (Ipomea batatas (L.) Lam.) is one of functional foods that can maintain and improve human health. Due to the very hard texture of red sweet potato, it cannot be consumed directly. Therefore, it requires various cooking methods in order to be more suitable for consumption. This study aimed at determining effects of various cooking methods on the proximate and sensory properties of red sweet potato. The research covers various cooking methods of red sweet potato through boiling, frying, baking, steaming, and one treatment without cooking process (fresh) which was used as a control. The results show that various cooking methods affect almost all testing parameters significantly, except for ash content. Baked red sweet potato has the lowest moisture content (38,75%) and the highest sugar value as sucrose (17,17%). Sensory properties test results show that the most preferred red sweet potato is fried red sweet potato

    The knowledge of fish reproduction is the most important in freshwater management continously. The research was done from February-July 2013, was aiming to describe information on reproductive aspects of belida fishes (Notopterus notopterus),i.e. sex ratio, gonado somatic stages, gonado somatic index, first size of maturity, fecundity, and spawning type. The fish Samples was taken by gill net which had many sizes such as 2, 2.5, 3, and 4 cm. Each gill net has length 30 m and width 2 m. Belida fishes have caught during research amounted 497 ind, which consisted of: 237 male and 260 female. Sex ratio male and female fish were relatively balance. The maturity gonad of male fish is faster than female fish. Featherback do spawn every month for each observation during the research. The spawning type of Featherback is partial pattern (step by step). The first size of maturity gonad from male fish was in length 135 mm and female fish was in length 162 mm. Fecundity of Featherback was in range 1.051-6.057 eggs. Fecundity is not influenced by length or weight body.     Protected Forest Management Unit (PFMU) of Solok is one of 120 FMU Model that has been set by the government through Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF). Community settlements (Nagari) were around and inside the FMU. Additionally, the existence of the FMU as a new institution in forest management cause different interpretation of the various stakeholders. The objective of this research was to identifying stakeholders and their interest and analyzing the patterns of relationship of stakeholders involved in the management of PFMU Solok. This research was conducted based on stakeholder analysis and social network analysis. Stakeholders involved in management of PFMU Solok have diverse interests and power. There were 22 stakeholders identified, in which 2 were classified as key players, 10 as subject, 4 as context setter, and 6 as crowd. Interaction pattern of stakeholders in the form of information flow was not spread evenly. The result shows that there were many stakeholder in the management of PFMU Solok. Multistakeholder forest management can be an alternative management model to integrate interests of stakeholders and equally distribute information

    Chromium is a risk pollutant through their carcinogenic character non degradable by organisms and accumulate into the environment. The aims to find LC50-96h of chromium on test organism. The test organism used are Oreochromis niloticus, these organisms may represent the actual condition of the environment. This study was divided into 2 steps i.e. basic and lethal toxicity (LC50-96 h) tests, being run in triplicates. Lethal toxicity test data were probity analyzed. The result showed that LC50-96h of Cr6+ on Oreochromis niloticus was 61.2 ppm

    The adoption of a new varieties of rice (VUB) are expected could increase the rice production. The study carried out in District of Serang, Pandeglang, Lebak, and Serang City, where each location is implemented in seven villages, so there are 28 locations. The Study of VUB was held on two cropping seasons, that is cropping season II on 2013 and cropping season I on 2014. The new varieties of rice were introduced is Inpari-13, Inpari-15, Inpari-18, and Inpari-19. Rice yields productivity Inpari-19 7.2 ton/ha, is higher than Inpari-13 (6.62 ton/ha), Inpari-15 (6.69 ton/ha), Inpari-18 (6.59 ton/ha), Ciherang (6,30 ton/ha), and Mekongga (6.4 ton/ha). Based on the technical aspects, shows that Inpari-19 adaptive and can increase the yield productivity of 900 kg/ha compared to Ciherang 800 kg/ha, and Mekongga. From the economical aspect the advantages of farming using Inpari-19 and based on the social aspect, showing that the preference of farmers to Inpari-19 like more than Inpari-13, Inpari-15, and Inpari-18. Based on the technical aspects, economic and social, the Inpari-19 can be used as an alternative choice of lowland rice varieties

    The aims of this research were to analyze the land suitability and carrying capacity for groupers culture. The utilized methods were land suitability analysis and carrying capacity analysis. The results of land suitability analysis showed that the area which is fit very suitable criteria is 38.16 ha (17.13%), fit enough suitable is 118.27 ha (53.11%), and appropriate-conditional suitable is 66.26 ha (29.75%). The results of carrying capacity analysis resulted in an area of 156.43 ha which is very suitable for groupers culture development in KJT systems. This area could accommodate as much as 313 ponds which are equivalent to 626 units or 6.257 KJT boxes

    Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Padi Sawah dan Gogo dengan Pemberian Pupuk Hayati Berbasis Bakteri Pemacu Tumbuh di Tanah Masam

    Biofertilizer is a substance which contains microorganism and promotes plant growth by increasing the soil nutrient availability. The aim of this study was to analyze the growth and production of lowland and upland rice by using the biofertilizer in acid soils. Seven isolates of bacteria were used as biofertilizer, i.e. Bacillus sp., two strains of Pseudomonas sp., two strains of Azospirillum sp., and two strains of Azotobacter sp.. The treatments of this study were without fertilization, compost, 100% NPK, compost enriched with 7 isolates, compost enriched with 7 isolates + 50% NPK, compost enriched with 4 isolates, and compost enriched with 4 isolates + 50% NPK. The results showed that biofertilizer in compost improved nutrient content in acid soil, and increased rice growth and production as well. Compost enriched with 7 isolates 50% NPK showed the highest rice yield production both in the lowland and upland rice. The biofertilizer could reduced 50% utilization NPK fertilizer dosage in the first growing season

    Pengembangan Strategi Agribisnis Sapi Potong di Kabupaten Bondowoso

    Bondowoso district has a primary program to become the center of beef cattle to increase the national of beef supply. The fulfillment of beef supply can be achieved by agribusiness development strategy in Bondowoso district. This study has three main objectives that include the following: a) Identify the external and internal factors that affect the development agribusiness of beef cattle in Bondowoso district; b) Analyze the alternative strategies for improving agribusiness of beef cattle in Bondowoso district; and c) Determine strategies priorities that can be applied in development agribusiness of beef cattle in Bondowoso district. The analysis that performed in analysis of data is: IFE, EFE, IE, SWOT, and QSPM. Based on SWOT matrix analysis there are five alternative strategies: the integration between agribusiness sub system, the strategy to increase the number of the population, training in managerial and technology, increasing the quantity, and the quality of production. The strategy priority were used Quantitative Strategies Planning Matrix (QSPM) analysis was the integration on agribusiness sub system. The sub system integration can be done by integrating the department of livestock and fisheries with the department of forestry and plantation area to make a husbandry which integrated with plants. Department of livestock and fisheries also can cooperate with the promotion and investment to invite the investor to establish business or industry in Bondowoso. The Government can cooperate with university to conduct information and provide training the farmers. If all aspects in subsystem could be synergistic the Development of Beef Cattle Agribusiness in Bondowoso district can be implemented well
