Analisis Hidrologi dan Hidrolika pada Saluran Drainase Ramanuju Hilir Kotabumi (Menggunakan Program HEC-RAS)
The calculation is done using the rainfall data obtained from BMKG Kotabumi North Lampung, from 1998 until 2011 with time increment in minutes. The Log Pearson III method is used to findthe design rainfall with return period 2 years, 5 years and 10 years. Then the result isimplemented in the Intensity-duration-frequency (IDF) curves. Time of concentration is linked intothe IDF curves to determine rainfall intensity. Based on the calculated rainfall intensity, thedesign discharge for each return period can be calculated using the rational method. The values of design discharge are then inputted as upstream boundary condition in HEC-RAS.Model output are presented in cross and long section to determine at which return period thedrainage capacity is overflowed. Simulation using HEC-RAS were also done to determine thechannel capacity.Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that rainfall intensities are 52,6918mm/hour, 65,7820 mm/hour and 75,9032 mm/hour, for 2, 5, an 10 year return period respectively. The capacity of the drainage channel is 2.02 m 3 /hour and is expected to be exceeded on 5 yearsreturn period.Key words : Intensity, Rasioanal method, HEC-RAS, capacit
Korelasi Kuat Tekan Bebas dengan Kuat Geser Langsung pada Tanah Lempung yang dicampur dengan Zeolit
This research was conducted to determine the effect between zeolite and clay of compressivestrength and shear strength. Construction founded on clay will cause some impact, such as lack ofcompressive strength and shear strength. Therefore, before the construction of structures on theclay, the clay must be stabilized first. In this research, soil stabilization using zeolite.Based on the results of this research there was an increase in the compressive strength of clay by94,5 % from 0,2975 kg/cm 2 be 0,5787 kg/cm 2 , and improving the clay cohesion of 54,17 % from0.24 kg/cm 2 be 0,36 kg/cm 2 , and the increase in the maximum shear strength of 43,89 % of 0.4754kg/cm 2 be 0,6841 kg/cm 2 , the additon of zeolite until 10%. From these values it can be concluded, compressive strength and shear strength increases as a percentage addition of zeolite, althoughthe increase that occurred in the unconfined compressive strength and direct shear strength is notas great. Keywords : Clay, Zeolite, Uncofined Compressive Strenght, Shear Strengh
Kepadatan Campuran dengan Variasi Tumbukkan Terhadap AC-WC Gradasi Halus
This study was conducted to determine the effect of variations in the compaction of thecharacteristics of the asphalt layer using the Marshall method which refers to the buildingspecifications of bina marga 2010. In the Marshall plan establishes parameters for the number ofcompaction of heavy traffic conditions compaction test specimen as 2x75 compaction with thecavity boundary mixture of 3,5- 5.5%. While on the asphalt concrete layer is studied AsphaltConcrete Wearing Coarse (AC-WC) subtle gradations lower limit. After the results of the testing materials testing both asphalt and aggregate meets the standardsand then do the manufacture asphalt mixture specimen. From the analysis of the value obtainedafter calculating the optimum asphalt content lower limit of 6,8%. Then used in mixing asphaltcontent for the variation of the collision is 2x50, 2x55, 2x60, 2x65, 2x70, 2x75, 2x80, and 2x85.After it was examined Marshall. From the test results on compaction Marshall 2x50, 2x55, 2x60, 2x65, and 2x70. Does not meetthe Marshall parameter value because Marshall Quotient (MQ) does not enter the specifications. While the value of voids In The Mix (VIM) in the collision 2x50, 2x55, 2x60, 2x65, and 2x70 arealso not included in the specification. Only on compaction of 2x75, 2x80 and 2x85 that meet theparameters of Marshall. Keywords : Compaction, Asphalt Concrete - Wearing Course (AC-WC) Subtle Gradation,Marshall Parameters, Bina Marga Specifications 2010
AC-WC Mixed Characterstics With Temperature Version of Mixing
This study was conducted to determine the effect of temperature variations on the mixing processof the hot mix asphalt (hot mix asphalt) to Marshall parameters with reference to the specificationof Bina Marga, 2010.Variations in mixing temperature 125 o C, 135 o C, 145 o C, 155 o C, 160 o C AC-WC layer smoothgradations center limit with asphalt content of 5.7%, at a mixing temperature of 125 oC does notmeet the Bina Marga specifications, because the value of the air voids in the mix (VIM) at atemperature of 125 o C at 5.611%, which exceeds the minimum standards at 3.5% to 5%. As for thetemperature variation of 135 o C to 160 o C mixing has met the minimum value of the Marshallparameter. Next to the mixing temperature variations upper limit 6.8% asphalt contenttemperatures are not eligible to be in a temperature of 125 o C. Due to a temperature of 125 o Cvalue of the cavity filled with asphalt (VFA) of 62.718% below the minimum standard value that isequal to 65%. As for the value of air voids in the mix (VIM) which exceeds the minimum value of5% is in the temperature 125 o C, 135 o C, 145 o C which each value by 7.778%, 6.8919%, 6.2490%,and then at a temperature of 160 o C for 3 , 1429% of the value below the minimum value of 3.5%.Only at a temperature of 155 o C which meet Marshall parameter values. Keywords : Temperature, Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course (AC-WC), Marshall Parameter ,BinaMarga Specification 2010

Along with the times, human need a better means and facilities. This make human have no choicebut to build a building or civil structure upon improper area, for example, build it on clay area. The clay is a cohesive soil which often undergoing a swelling-shrinking event in its subgrade. So,it needed to to carried out the stabilization, one of which is using ISS 2500, and research of liquidlimit and plasticity index to know about their relationship with its cohesion in-depth study.Thesample was taken from Margakaya village and Palputih village, District of Jati Agung, SouthLampung and Blimbing Sari village, District of Jabung, East Lampung. The soil tested at originalcondition and mixed by ISS2500 with three variation of mixture, that is at 0,6 ml, 0,9 ml, and 1,2ml. Mixing is conducted based on optimum moisture content of each kind of soil. Mechanicaltesting which is unconfined compressive test and direct shear test, using three sample for everysoil and every mixture variation.Test result show that the more volume of solution added into soil1, soil 2 and soil 3, then it will increase value of soil cohesion (c), maximum stress (qu). Mixing ofthe ISS 2500 resulted liquid limit (LL) of clay be between 42% - 47% .Keywords: cohesion, direct shear test, liquid limit, plasticity index, unconfined compressive tes
Studi Pemodelan Stokastik Curah Hujan Harian di Stasiun Kota Metro
The purpose of this research is to study the daily rainfall data series The data used daily rainfall data with data length in 1986-2013 at 3 stations namely Metro station R-206, R-107 Raman Dam, and Argoguruh R-106 are located in Metro City and the surrounding areas. The modeling is done using the data length of 512 days. By using the frequency of rainfall data obtained then apply the Fourier equation and the method of least squares is then generated model of periodic daily rainfall. Rainfall stochastic model of rainfall data is assumed as the difference between precipitation data with periodic rainfall models using the 253 components. Based on data from a series of stochastic, stochastic component is computed using autoregressive models approach. Stochastic model presented by using the autoregressive model of order three. Validation stochastic series, between the data and the model is done by calculating the correlation coefficient.Based on these results we can conclude synthetic daily rainfall data time series obtained very significant approach measurable rainfall. With the value of the average correlation coefficient stochastic model is 0.9981.keywords: daily rainfall, autoregresif models, stochastic component
Hubungan Nilai Konsolidasi dan Nilai Kuat Tekan Bebas pada Tanah Lempung yang Disubtitusi Material Pasir
This study was conducted to determine the behavior of reduction and compressive strength in claywhich is substituted with sand material and to see the correlation between the value ofconsolidation and the compressive strength on the soil. Because the clay when getting loadingthere will be a significant reduction in soil that affects the reduction in carrying capacity orcompressive strength of the soil. In this study used clay from the village of Belimbing Sari, Jabungdistrict, East Lampung with the coordinates of 105° 39 '10.74 "T and 5 ° 31' 44.26" S.The research was done by testing on samples without a mixture of clay and the clay soil mixedwith sand with varying amounts of sand mixture of 10%, 20%, and 30%. Testing was conducted ona standard compaction test to find the optimum water content, consolidation testing to find thevalue of the coefficient of consolidation (Cv), compression index (Cc) and coefficient ofcompression (Av) and compressive strength testing are free to seek the compressive strength on thesoil.Based on the results of this study can be seen in the behavior of a mixture of clay and sand withoutonce mixed with sand material that is an increase in the value of the coefficient of consolidation(Cv), a decrease in the value of compression index (Cc) and coefficient of compression (Av) and anincrease in the compressive strength (qu) in the clay soil. Value increases and decreases that occurwithout a mixture of clay and after mixed variations mixture of 10%, 20%, and 30% tend to bestable. From this study it can be concluded that the value of consolidation and strong correlationpress substituted clay with sand material that is smaller then the consolidation of soil compressivestrength will be greater as well. Keywords: Soil Clay, Sand, Consolidation, Soil Compressive Strengt
Pengaruh Kuat Tekan dan Kuat Geser pada Sampel Dry Side of Optimum (Optimum Kering) dan Wet Side of Optimum (Optimum Basah) Tanah Organik
Organic soils causing many problems for the construction to be built on it, is generally caused bythe physical properties of organic soils that have a very high water content and low carryingcapacity, so that organic soils have less favorable properties for the construction of civil buildings. In this case, there should be a study of compressive strength and shear strength. This research wasconducted in the laboratory by making a sample of the results of a standard compaction, then thesample is done in Optimum condition Dry side of optimum and Wet side of optimum. On the DrySide Of Optimum process, sample was given a reduction of 10% of the optimum water content, while the Wet Side Of Optimum given the addition of 10% of the optimum water content, then thesample is done soaking for 4 days after compaction testing standards. The test results ofcompressive strength and shear strength shows a sample of soil behavior in an Optimumconditions better than the sample in Dry Side Of Optimum conditions and Wet Side Of Optimum. This is due to the pores of the soil Optimum conditions experienced stability and development ofthe soil is very minimum to occurs. Compressive strength and shear strength test is to measurehow strong soil receiving compressive strength and shear strength given to the soil separated fromthe grains. Keywords: Organic Soil, Dry Side Of Optimum, Wet Side Of Optimum, Optimum, CompressiveStrength and Shear Strengt
