    Storage Capacity Analysis On The Construction Of Reservoir C Faculty Of Medicine University Of Lampung

    Reservoir is a basin that can be utilized to contain excess rain water which will be used during dry season and it is also an act of effort to nurture the existence and sustainability of the environment, nature and the ground water, so that the water can always be available in an adequate quantity and quality to fulfill the needs for the living. reservoir is also utilized to maintain the quality of the water ground and as an ecotourism object as well. In University of Lampung, there are several reservoirs that can be found, one of which is reservoir C which is located at the faculty of medicine, University of Lampung. The main purpose of this research is to find out the capacity storage of the reservoir by using several supporting softwares to simplify the calculation. the supporting softwares which are used in this research are AutoCAD 2017, Microsoft Excel 2017, and Google Earth Pro.  The outputs of this research are (1) The estimation of flood discharge at reservoir C faculty of medicine, University of Lampung (2) The storage capacity of the reservoir C faculty of medicine, University of Lampung based on this research, it can be concluded that reservoir is qualified as a conservation reservoir which has 6594.9909 m 3 storage capacity

    Palembapang, South Lampung requires proper road construction for public transportation needs. However, the road conditions in the village were found heavily damaged because of poor soil conditions. Therefore, soil stabilization must be carried out. The method of this study is deep soil mixing (DSM), which is soil improvement method by mixing additional materials in the field (in-site). This method is more affordable because they use their soil as theiraggregate and reduce the transportation budget because of stuff supply.The purpose of this study is to determine the change of soil load-bearing capacity due to the variation of distance and the diameter of the DSM stabilization column on soft clay soil and soft clay soil with 8% lime. This study shows that the stabilization of soft clay soil with 8% lime has increased its load-bearing capacity (qu) from 10.368 kg/cm2to 14.69 kg/cm2. The increase of soil load-bearing capacity with the stabilization of the DSM column is proportional to the volume of soil improvement. The largest increase of the soil load-bearing capacity occurred in 1D columns range and 3.75 cm diameter. The distance variation also gives a more significant change compared to the variation of diameter. The most efficient distance and diameter are at the variation of the distance of 1.25D columns range and 2.5 cm diameter

    Analisis Pengaruh Penggunaan Serat Polypropylene Terhadap Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) dengan Bahan Dasar Agregat Kasar Gradasi Senjang (Gap-Grading)

    In general, Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) uses coarse aggreggate with dense graded for mix composition. However, in certain places, sometimes the sources of aggreggate are limited and there’s no stone crusher with possibly use coarse aggreggate with gap graded. H. This research was conducted for investigate the effect of polypropylene fiber additions to SCC with gap graded on workability, compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, and bending strength. Test result for Slump-Flow and T50 for both of gradation with Vf 0%, 0,05%, and 0,1% quilify that Slump-Flow are about 50-65 cm and T50 are 3-15 second. Test result for compressive strength of SCC with gap graded, the optimum Vf is 0,05% with 7,02% increase in strength compared to dense graded with 0% Vf. Test result for split tensile strength of SCC with gap graded, the optimum Vf is 0,05% with 45,53% increase in strength compared to dense graded with 0% Vf. Test result for bending strength of SCC with gap graded, the optimum Vf is 0,05% with 347,28% increase in strength compared to dense graded with 0% Vf

    Analisis Karakteristik dan Kebutuhan Parkir di Pasar Bambu Kuning Bandar Lampung

    Parking is a temporary condition of not moving a vehicle. One of the parking requirements is Pasar Bambu Kuning Bandar Lampung. However, they prefer to park on the shoulder of the road and cause congestion around the market. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the characteristics of parking at Pasar Bambu Kuning in Bandar Lampung and to analyze the capacity and needs of parking spaces at Pasar Bambu Kuning in Bandar Lampung.  The results showed that the highest frequency of four-wheeled vehicles was 395 vehicles / 3 hours, while the highest frequency of two-wheeled vehicles was 653 vehicles / 5 hours in on-street conditions. The highest parking turnover rates for four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles are 1.518 vehicles / SRP / hour and 0.445 vehicles / SRP / hour, respectively, then the highest parking index values for four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles are 144% and 72.5%, respectively. . The maximum parking capacity for four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles is 281 vehicles / hour and 618 vehicles / hour respectively and the parking requirements for four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles are 73 SRP and 82 SRP. Keywords: parking, parking accumulation, frequency, average duration, cumulative frequency, turnover rate, parking capacity, parking demand

    Perbandingan Nilai Derajat Kepadatan Tanah Metode Standard Proctor dengan Alat Uji Tekan Modikasi dan Uji Sand Cone di Lapangan

    Perkembangan teknologi dalam pengujian pemadatan menginspirasi Teknik Sipil Universitas Lampung untuk membuat prototipe alat uji tekan modifikasi yang dapat diatur tekanannya. Cara kerja dengan alat ini yaitu dengan menggunakan nilai kadar air optimum yang didapatkan melalui uji pemadatan standard proctor. Dengan nilai kadar air tersebut lalu digunakan untuk menguji sampel dengan tekanan yang berbeda yaitu 5 Mpa, 10 Mpa, dan 15 Mpa.  Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membandingkan uji pemadatan metode standard Proctor, dan uji pemadatan dengan alat tekan modifikasi serta uji sand cone dilapangan untuk mendapatkan nilai derajat kepadatan. Pada uji pemadatan dengan metode standard proctor didapat berat volume kering maksimum sebesar 1,42 gr/cm3 dan nilai kadar air optimum sebesar 24,05 %. Uji pemadatan tanah menggunakan metode tekan didapat berat volume kering terbesar pada tekanan 15 Mpa yaitu sebesar 1,58 gr/cm3. Dan dari uji sand cone didapat nilai derajat kepadatan tanah dari uji standard proctor dan uji menggunakan alat tekan modifikasi terdapat perbedaan antara 7,78 % sampai 10,2 %

    Tanah dalam suatu konstruksi haruslah memiliki nilai kepadatan tanah yang tinggi, nilai kepadatan tanah yang tinggi mempengaruhi daya dukung tanah dalam memikul beban diatasnya. seringkali dilakukan uji penetrasi konus dinamis/DCP (Dynamic Cone Penetrometer). Untuk mendapatkan nilai CBR, hasil uji DCP ini dikorelasikan dengan suatu rumusan Korelasi Nilai DCP-CBR. Namun untuk mengantisipasi kekurangan dalam pengujian korelasi CBR-DCP, perlu dikoreksi dengan Rumusan Korelasi DCP-CBR dari Kementrian PUPR yang berlaku umum untuk seluruh kawasan wilayah Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan test DCP pada 3 titik di lapangan lalu diambil sampel tanah yang selanjutnya akan dibawa ke laboratorium untuk dilakukan uji sifat fisik tanah. Setelah semua data telah didapatkan baru menganalisi dan merumuskan rumus korelasi DCP – CBR dan dibandingkan dengan rumus korelasi. setelah di lakukan penelitian di ketahui bahwa model rumusan kolerasi DCP – CBR diteliti mempunyai rumus Log CBR = 3.2322 – 1.512 Log DCP, dimana rumus ini sudah sesuai secara umum dengan rumus kolerasi DCP – CBR dari kemetrian PU karena posisi kurva Rumus Korelasi DCP-CBR penulis sedikit diatas kurva rumus Korelasi DCP-CBR Kementrian PUP

    The Covid-19 virus has caused a decrease in transportation movement activities on the Z.A Pagar Alam road. Transportation movement activities due to the pandemic in which the government established a WFH (Work From Home) with this policy resulted in a reduction in the level of transportation modes so that it had a positive effect, namely reducing traffic congestion in the city center and also reducing air pollutants.In connection with the above problems, it is necessary to study the calculation of the emission load on the Z.A Pagar Alam road during the new normal period which can then be compared with the Z.A Pagar Alam emission load during the normal period, in order to find out how much the emission load changes on the R.A road. Kartini due to Covid-19.this study aims to determine the emission load of Pagar Alam Z.A during new normal conditions and during normal conditions. The results of this study indicate that there is a change in the emission load for each of the existing concentrates and the most significant is CO2 on the Z.A Pagar Alam road due to changes in vehicle volume that occur during normal and new normal conditions

    A traffic accident is an accident on the road that is unintentional. One of them is Jendral Sudirman Street, a location where traffic accidents often occur because this road has a high traffic volume in Metro City. This research uses a qualitative method that is descriptive and tends to use analysis. The data collection is done by direct observation and measurement at the research location and obtained through existing data sources.Based on the analysis of data that has been done the number of accidents that occurred on Jendral Sudirman Street, namely 71 incidents from 2014-2018 of 465 incidents of accident in Metro City. Based on the characteristics of accidents most causes of accidents is due to human factors, the type of vehicle that has the most accidents is two-wheeled vehicles, the dominant type of accident is front-back accidents, the time of accidents that often occurs is the time interval 06.00-12.00 .Keywords: Traffic Accident, Characteristics of Accidents, Jendral Sudirman, Metro Cit

    Finite Element Analysis on Reinforced Concrete Beams Strengthened with GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer) Using Software

    In testing reinforced concrete beams strengthened with 4 layers of GFRP can increase the maximum load up to 112% (Nalarita, 2019). The test can be done by modeling using finite element based software.The beam that is modeled has a dimension of 1,7 m long, 15 cm wide and 15 cm high with 4 layers of 1,3 mm/layer GFRP. The beams that are modeled are only a quarter section because of symmetrical geometry and loading.The percentage difference between the results of modeling and experimental tests on normal beams is 1,49% for deflection in the middle span. The crack that occurs in normal beams in modeling and experimental shows the same crack pattern, which is flexural crack. The percentage difference between modeling and experimental tests on the strengthened beam is 21,81% for the deflection in the middle span. In experimental and modeling tests, the applied GFRP undergoes debonding before the concrete compressive strain reaches its ultimate strain.Keywords: Concrete, GFRP, debonding, modelin

    Studi Hubungan Pengembangan (Swelling) dengan Tebal Perkerasan pada Subgrade Jalan Yang Dicampur dengan Material Pasir

    Tanah lempung dengan plastisitas tinggi, kohesifitas yang besar berakibat fluktuasi kembang susut yang relatif besar. Hal ini yang menyebabkan kondisi jalan yang dibangun diatas tanah lempung sering kali mengalami kerusakan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tanah tersebut, dalam merencanakan bangunan teknik sipil di Indonesia memerlukan beberapa perlakuan untuk membuat tanah menjadi lebih stabil. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini dilakukan perbaikan tanah dengan cara memperbaiki gradasinya yaitu mencampur lempung (tanah asli) dengan pasir (gradasi lebih besar). Sampel tanah yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berasal dari Ruas Jalan R.A.Basyid, Kecamatan Jati Agung, Lampung Selatan pada STA 3+100 dan variasi pasir yang digunakan yaitu 0, 5, 10 dan 15 % dari berat tanah. Adapun pengujian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah pengujian CBR dari efek pegembangan tanah, lalu dilakukan perhitungan tebal perkerasan dengan metode analisa komponen SKBI 2.3.26.1987. Pada penelitian inisampel tanah yang digunakan termasuk kelompok A-7-6atau jenis tanah yang buruk. Setelah penambahan variasi pasir, batas plastis tanah tersebut meningkat sedangkan batas cair dan indeks plastisitas menurun, hal ini mengakibatkan pengembangan tanah terjadi penurunan pada 15% kapur yaitu dari 0,65% menjadi 0,15%, sedangkan nilai CBR mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan pada pasir 15% yaitu dari 2,0% menjadi 25,4%. Dengan hal ini tebal lapis menjadi lebih tipis, pada 0% kapur yaitu tebal D1=7,5 cm, D2=25 cm dan D3=44 cm, sedangkan pada 15% kapur tebal D1=5 cm, D2=18 cm dan D3 tidak digunakan.Kata kunci : CBR, Pengembangan Tanah, Tebal Perkerasan, Stabilisasi, P
