    Profil Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa Kelas Viii Smp Dengan Kecerdasan Intrapersonal Dan Interpersonal

    This study is a qualitative research that aims to get a description of the profile of mathematical problem solving class VIII SMP with intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence based on Polya phase. The subjects of this study were students at grade eighth of Junior High School who have a intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence. This study was conducted at the Junior High School in Palu, Central Sulawesi. The results of the study were as follow a) at the time to understand the math problems, subject who have intrapersonal intelligence tend to be cautious and be very confident if it had understood the problem well , while subject who have interpersonal intelligence tend to build up interaction with other people to easily understand the problems; b) during design the problem solving plan, both of the subjects used a same method, subjects with intrapersonal intelligence are relatively more patient and calm in the search for solving ideas than subject with interpersonal intelligence; c) when implemented problem solving plan, both of the subjects used the solving steps according to the plan, subject with intrapersonal intelligence did with relatively more thorough and careful than subject with interpersonal intelligence; d) when look back at the solution obtained, subject with intrapersonal intelligence tend to check repeatedly until feel confident with the answers, while subject with interpersonal intelligence tend to be checked only once and often asked and always said, had been convinced by the answer as to avoid having to prove in writing

    Kajian Berbagai Lama Penyimpanan Entres Terhadap Hasil Sambung Sampin Gkakao (Theobroma Cacao L.) Klon Sulawesi

    The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of scionsstored under various time periods on side-cleft grafting results at cacao plant.  The research used a Randomized Block design in which five storage period treatments were applied including no period of storage (control), 3 d, 6 d, 9 d, and 12 d storage periodsafter scion cutting time.  Each treatment was replicated five times resulting in 25 experimental units.  Variables observed were the percentage of living graftings, number of buds, length of buds and total leaf number of scions.  The research results showed that under 9 d and 12 d storage periods after scion cutting time, the percentage of living graftings was 53.59% and 36.41%, respectively, while much higher percentage were found in the control, 3 d, and 6 d treatments which were 79.38%, 79.38% and 70.78%, respectively.  The control, 3 d and 6 d storage period treatments were significantly affected the percentage of living scion and bud length at 30 d and 45 d after grafting.  Scions can be stored up to 6 d after cutting which support a well growth of side-cleft grafting cacao

    The aims of this research are to find out (1) community perception in implementation of social forestry; (2) strategy in social forestry development in Leboni village.  This research was a descriptive study. The respondents determined by using purposive sampling technique. The data were analysed by using descriptive analysis and supported by Likert Scale, SWOT Matrix, Quantitative Strategy Planning Matrix. The resul reveal that the perception about quality value indicator is Good (average score 70,0), emosional value indicator is Good (average score  87,0), fungsional value indicator is Very Good (average score 104,0), and generally perception is Good (average of score total 72,8). Five alternative of strategies that could be applied, they are : (1) develop forest farmer group to be business unit; (2) Implement Good Agriculture Practise; (3) making network with private, local government and local custom institution; (4) increasing regency government support for facilitaties and infrastructure; (5) develop local wisdom technique in forest management.     The objective of this qualitative research is to find out the description of the critical thinking profile of SMP students in solving mathematic problems in terms of cognitive style. To achieve the objective of this research used Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT) by dividing students into field dependent and field independent cognitive style, mathematic problem, interview and observation. The result of this research shows that: (1) understanding the problem, SAi and SMd are able to identify, collect and analyse the given facts and information clearly and logicaly, (2) make a plan, SAi dan SMd are able to devine the alternative solution in order to solve the problem (3) carrying out the problem, SAi is able to use the alternative problem solution based on his plan systematically; meanwhile, SMd still finds it difficult to use the alternative problem solution based on his implementation plan not systematically. and (4) in the last step, SAi is able to evaluate the obtained  result relevantly. Furthermore, he also can give clear argument in testing the obtained result. Whereas, SMd is not able to evaluate the obtained result relevantly, so he can not the given in testing the obtained result. &nbsp

    The research was aimed to describing the influence of Jigsaw II type as cooperative learning model and mind mapping technique on the learning achievement for biology subject at grade X, and than to describing the influence of Jigsaw II type as cooperative learning model and mind mapping technique simultaneosly on the learning achievement. The research was quantitative with quasi- experimental design. Population in this research were all students in grade X SMAN 3 Poso which consists of 8 study groups. Research sample that is graders XD and XH, taken with random probabiliy sampling. Research data were obtained from the student achievement, and were analized by t-test was followed by ANOVA test with SPSS 20. The result of the research showed that there was a significant influence jigsaw II type as cooperative learning model and mind mapping technique on the learning achievement for biology subject, and there is significant influence of Jigsaw II type as cooperative learning model and mind mapping technique simultaneosly against on the learning achievement for biology subject. The Conclusion of this research that there is significant influence of jigsaw II type as cooperative learning model and mind mapping technique on the learning achievement for biology subject at grade Xof class X SMAN 3 Poso

    The research aimed at finding out and describing the direct and indirect effects of parents’ care, self-concept, and learning motivation toward the learning outcomes on mathematics. The population was all the students of Grade VIII of SMP Negeri in Sub-district of Sausu, Parigi Moutong Regency in 2013/2014. They were 201 students in 10 classes. The sample was 110 students in 5 classes taken by using simple random sampling technique. This research was ex-post facto with causality designed to explain the cause and effect relationship between the variables. The techniques of data collection consisted of questionnaire on parents’ care, self-concept, and learning motivation; and mathematics test. The data were analysed quantitatively by using line analysis with SPSS 20 and AMOS. It is found that: (1) parents’ care directtly contributed significantly to the students’ mathematics learning outcome; (2) the students’ self-concept directly contributed significantly to the students’ mathematics learning outcome; (3) parents’ care indirectly contributed significantly to the students’ learning outcome on mathematics through learning motivation; (4) the students’ self-concept indirectly contributed significantly to the students’ learning outcome on mathematics through learning motivation; (5) parents’ care, self-concept, and learning motivation directly and indirectly contributed significantly to the students’ learning outcomes on mathematics

    The aim of this study to observe the effect rearing time of Banggai cardinalfish  were infected with Vibrio sp. from mortality rate and verify tissue’s abnormalities through histopathology test. Rearing time were 5, 10 and 15 days using a completely randomized design with three replications. Data processing is done by analysis of variance one-way ANOVA. Histology bacterial identification and data were analyzed descriptively. Research conducted at the Installation Building Fish Quarantine of Palu, Microbiology Laboratory of Palu and Histology Laboratory Fish Quarantine of Makassar in April to August 2015. Based on identification, found 8 bacteria of Vibrio sp were V. pelagius, V. damsela, V. carchariae, V. anguillarum, V. ordalii, V. parahaemolyticus, V. alginolyticus and V. aerogenes. The results showed rearing time for 15 days (treatment C) triggered the highest fatality rate of 62% was followed by rearing time 10 days (treatment B) of 52% and 5 days (treatment A) of 44%. Histopathological test showed tissue damage in the gills, kidney, skin and eyes. The results shows the longer rearing time the higher of mortality rate were infected with Vibrio sp

    The aim of this study was to analyze the influence of food availability, food access and food utilization on food security in Sub Sigi Biromaru and analyze the relationship between food availability, food access and food utilization in District Sigi Biromaru. The method used was descriptive method survey to determine the location of intentionally (purposive), type of data used secondary data sourced Time series of profiles 6 villages in the subdistrict representative Sigi Biromaru represent districts of Sigi Biromaru. The analysis showed that the independent variables (Xi) jointly significant effect on the dependent variable (Y) levels of food insecurity Biromaru Sigi district area, this is indicated by the value of the F-count 3246.506> F-table sig 19.16. 2 tile Adstj2 0.000 R2 = 0.999 means a 99.9% value variation of the food security area (Y) can be explained by variable food availability (X1), food access (X2), and utilization of food (X3), and the remaining 0.1% described other models. Value variations in the level of food security region (Y) can be explained by variable food availability (X1), Access to food (X2), and Utilization of Food (X3), regression coefficient / elasticity of food availability (X1) = 0.103, Access to food (X2) = 0.942, Utilization of Food (X3) = 0.606. The results of the analysis of the relationship of food availability, food access and food utilization level of food security to the region shows the influence of both direct and indirect effect on food security in the sub district of Sigi Biromar

    Analisis Produksi Padi Sawah Di Desa Kalawara Kecamatan Gumbasa Kabupaten Sigi

    The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that affect the production of paddy rice farming in the village of Kalawara, the District of Gumbasa. The research was conducted in the village of Kalawara, District of Gumbasa, The Regency of Sigi with the consideration that the village is one of the largest rice using Mekongga rice seed. The population in this study are the farmers of paddy in the village numbering 169 people, by the determination of the sample, the number of respondents who were sampled as much as 20% of the total population of 169 farmers, in order to obtain a total sample of 34 farmers, respectively Mekongga seed as many as 18 farmers and other seed for 16 farmers. Based on the analysis using a model Production function Cobb-Douglas then obtained as follows: land area (X1), seeds (X2), urea (X3), fertilizer Phonska (X4), labor (X5),) and dummy use of seeds together (simultaneously) very significant effect on production or variable (Y), partially each variable (land, seed, fertilizer urea, fertilizer Phonska, labor, pesticides and dummy use of seeds effect on very significant effect on farm production of paddy in the village. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.960 indicates that the variation (rise and fall) farm production of paddy (Y) in the village can be explained by the independent variables (Xi) by 96%, while 4% were caused by other factors not included in the model, for example climatic factors and others

    Internal factors greatly affect the success of students’ learning. Identify the learning style can be used for grouping students in learning so that students can learn in a proper way, comfortable and positive. This study aims to: (1) Describe the differences in learning outcomes and students’ activity with problem solving approach between grouping based on learning styles and grouping not based on learning styles, (2) Describe the interaction effect of grouping based on learning styles in a problem solving approach with learning style of each students towards their learning outcomes and activity. Population of this study were the students of the grade XI IPA in SMAN 1 Dolo, and with purposive sampling technique, the samples taken were the students of the grade XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2. Collecting data using a VAK (visual-auditory-kinesthetic) learning styles questionnaire, objective tests, and students’ activity observation sheet. This type of research is quasy experiment. Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA test. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that: (1) There are differences in learning outcomes and students’ activity with problem solving approach between grouping based on learning styles and grouping not based on learning styles, (2) There are interactions of grouping based on learning styles in a problem solving approach with learning style of each students towards their learning outcomes, but there is no interaction of grouping based on learning styles in a problem solving approach with learning style of each students towards their activity
