Upaya Meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa Melalui Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD
Get PDFBase observing result on VIII class student D. SMP Country 2 Jati School Year Grand 2012/2013 acknowledged that activity and student concept grasp in processes learning still low. It is caused less effective it model that is utilized learns to involve active ala student in learning activity. To settle research does that problem action by applying kooperatif's learning model STAD type that aims to increase activity and mathematical concept grasp student. Action research brazes this is done in three cycles, one that each its cycle consisting of four activity phase which is: planning phase, performing phase, observing phase and reflection phase. Technics data collecting is opserfasi and essays. Base research result and study was concluded by learning with utilize kooperatif's model type STAD can increase activity and mathematics concept grasp student. Get PDFPembebelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT merupakan model pembelajaran menggunakan sistem penomoran yang memicu siswa untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang diberikan karena setelah diskusi kelompok guru akan menyebut satu nomor secara acak dan siswa dengan nomor tersebut harus siap mempresentasian jawaban bagi seluruh siswa dalam kelas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI jurusan bangunan SMK N 2 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013, sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI Teknik batu Beton (TBB) dan XI Teknik Konstruksi Kayu (TKK) yang telah dipilih secara acak. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest yang melibatkan dua kelompok. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti pembelajarankooperatif tipe NHT sama dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional.Kata Kunci: NHT, Hasil Belajar
EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD DITINJAU DARI PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis quasi experimental study aimed to determine the effectiveness of STAD cooperative learning model viewed by students understanding of mathematical concepts. Posttest only design was used in this study. The population of this study was all students of grade VII of SMPN 8 Bandar Lampung. The samples of this study were students of VII-D and VII-E class which taken by purposive random sampling. The data of study was got by test of understanding of mathematical concepts. Based on the data analysis using t-test, it could be concluded that the STAD cooperative learning model was effective viewed by understanding of mathematical concepts of grade VII students of SMPN 8 Bandar Lampung even semester in academic year 2012/2013.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest only. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 8 Bandar Lampung. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII-D dan VII-E yang diambil secara purposive random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep matematis. EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER DITINJAU DARI PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS
Get PDFThis quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type considered by student’s understanding of mathematical concepts. The population of this research was all students of grade VII even semester of SMP Negeri 1 Trimurjo in academic year 2012/2013 totally 210 students that distributed into seven classes. The samples of this research were taken by purposive sampling technique and got VII E as experimental class and VII C as control class. The design of this research was posttest only control design. The data of research was the score of student’s understanding of mathematical concepts which obtain by posttest. Based on data analysis, student’s conceptual understanding of mathematics of cooperative learning model of NHT type was better than conventional learning. So, it was concluded that cooperative learning model of NHT type was effective considered by student’s mathematical conceptual understanding.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT lebih baik dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional. PENGARUH PENDEKATAN SAVI TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis quasi-experimental research aims to know the influence of SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intelectual) approach to the student’s mathematical conceptual comprehension. Population of this reseacrh is second grade students in the even semester at SMPN 1 Sidomulyo in 2012/2013 as many as 260 students that consist of seven classes with an average value of low cognitive ability (47,53). The samples of this research are choosen by purposive sampling technique and it is obtained VIII B and VIII E. The design of this research is the posttest-only control-group design. The instrument of this research is an essay test of student’s mathematical conceptual comprehension that valid and has high reliability. Based on the results of hypothesis testing obtained that student’s mathematical conceptual comprehension with SAVI approach is better than student’s mathematical conceptual comprehension with conventional learning. Thus, learning with SAVI approach an influence to the mathematical conceptual comprehension of second grade students at SMPN 1 Sidomulyo in 2012/2013. The population is all students of seventh grade of Junior High School State 22 Bandar Lampung in academic year 2012-2013, they are from regular class and divided into six classes. Samples are VIIB and VIIG that is determined by purposive sampling technique. Based on analysis of data, it gotten that student’s mathematical conceptual understanding on cooperative learning model of NHT better than student’s mathematical conceptual understanding of conventional learning. Thus, cooperatif learning model of NHT type influences towards student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 22 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012-2013 yang bukan berasal dari kelas unggulan dan terdiri dari enam kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah siswa pada kelas VII-B dan VII-G yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan analisis data penelitian diperoleh hasil pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional. The design research was post-test only control design with the population were all student’s of seventh grade class in even semester of state junior high school 8 Bandar Lampung academic years 2012/2013 with homogenous student abilities. The sample of this research were VIIC class as experiment class and VIIB as control class, choosen by purposive sampling technique from five classes. Based on hypothesis test it was got that the average of student’s mathematical conceptual understanding value that used problem posing stategy is higher than conventional learning method. No full textPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together dengan pembelajaran konvensional terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah pre-test post-test control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII semester ganjil SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 dan sebagai sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIII B dan VIII D yang dipilih dari enamkelas secara acak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh bahwa rata-rata pemahaman konsep matematis siswa, ketuntasan belajar siswa, dan pencapaian perilaku berkarakter dan keterampilan sosial siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT lebih baik daripadapembelajaran konvensional. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT lebih efektif diterapkan terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, NHT, Pemahaman Konsep Matemati

ANALISIS KESALAHAN SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL CERITA PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA
Get PDFThis qulitative-descriptive research was aimed to know the student’s errors in solving word problems in mathematic learning and the cause of the errors. The subjects were students of VII A class of Junior High School state 20 of Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2013/2014. The data was collected by test and interview. The data analysis was done by data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Based on the research results, it was known that students errors in solving word problem were understand the problem, make model of mathematics, do counting, and make conclusions. It was caused by the lack interest and motivation of students towards mathematics.Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada pembelajaran matematika dan penyebab kesalahan tersebut. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui kesalahan-kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita yaitu kesalahan memahami soal, membuat model matematika, melakukan perhitungan, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh rendahnya minat dan motivasi siswa terhadap pelajaran matematika. Kata kunci: kesalahan, matematika, penyelesaian soal cerit
