Efektivitas Penerapan Model Pembelajara Kooperatif Tipe NHT pada Pembelajaran Matematika
Get PDFThe study was a quasi-experimental research with the entire student population of class VIII Junior Surya Dharma2 Belfast school year 2011/2012 consisting of three classes. The samplesisclass VIII-A and class VIII-B are taken using random sampling techniques purporsive. Data retrieval techniques using test techniques. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning model to enhance the activity of type NHT. results showed that the type of cooperative learning NHT effectively applied to increase the activity and student learning outcomes.Keywords: Cooperative NHT, Activities, and Learning Outcome
UPAYA MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD
Get PDFClassroom action research purposed to increase activity and mathematics learning result by applying cooperative learning model of STAD type. Data collection techniques which used were observation and test. This research consists of 3 cycles. Each cycles was covered by four steps of activity, such as planning, acting, observation and reflection. Based on the result of data analysis, it known that the percentage of student activity was increase, while the percentage of learning result was decrease in each cycles. The percentage of activity increased, that were 57,8%, 75,6% and 85% for I, II and III cycles respectivelly. The mathematics learning result decreased, that were 83,3%, 80% and 76,7% for I, II and III cycles respectivelly. It meant that the cooperative learning model STAD type increased the activity and mathematics learnig result of students of VIII B SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Sidomulyo Lampung Selatan.Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes. Penelitian ini terdiri atas tiga siklus. Setiap siklusnya meliputi 4 tahapan kegiatan yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diketahui bahwa persentase aktivitas siswa meningkat, sedangkan untuk persentase hasil belajar menurun setiap siklusnya. Persentase aktivitas meningkat, yaitu 57,8%, 75,6% dan 85% berturut-turut untuk siklus I, II dan III. Persentase hasil belajar matematika menurun, yaitu 83,3%, 80% dan 76,7% berturut-turut untuk siklus I, II dan III. Hal ini berarti bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar metematika siswa kelas VIII B SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Sidomulyo Lampung Selatan.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, STA

Get PDFThis quasi experimental research aimed to know the influence of conceptual attainment model towards student’s mathematical conceptual understanding ability in grade eighth students of Junior High School state 13 Bandarlampung in academic year 2012/2013. The population was all grade eighth students of Junior High School state 13 Bandarlampung in academic year 2012/2013. The samples were students of VIIIG as experiment class and VIIIK as control class. The samples were chosen by purposive sampling technique. This research used post-test only control group design. Based on the result of research,it was concluded that the implementation of conceptual attainment model influences student’s mathematical conceptual understanding ability.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model peraihan konsep terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 13 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 13 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII G sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VIII K sebagai kelas kontrol. Sampel dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian adalah post-test only control group design. Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TPS Terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa
No full textPenelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan ke-mampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dibandingkan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretestposttest control design dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Secara purposive sampling dipilih dua dari tiga kelas pada siswa kelas X SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 sebagai sampel penelitian. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional, karena nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh pada indeks gain tidak berbeda secara signifikan pada siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung, namun pada pencapaian indikator terlihat bahwa kelas yang menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS lebih baik disbanding kelas yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional.Kata Kunci: TPS, kemampuan komunikasi matematis

The population in this research was all students of grade eighth of SMPN 1 Gadingrejo in academic year 2012/2013 that distributed into eight classes. The samples of this research were taken by purposive sampling technique. VIIID as the experimental class which taught by cooperative learning model of NHT type and VIIIC as the control class which taught by conventional learning. The conclusion of this research was the students’ mathematical conceptual comprehension who taught by cooperative learning model of NHT type was as same as the students’ mathematical conceptual comprehension who taught by conventional learning.Penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Gadingrejo tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 yang terdistribusi ke dalam delapan kelas. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Kelas VIIID sebagai kelas eksperimen yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dan kelas VIIIC sebagai kelas kontrol yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Get PDFThis research was a quasi experiment is aimed to know about the influence of cooperative learning model type teams games tournament (TGT) to the understanding of student’s mathematical concept. The research design was posttest only control design. Research population were chosen by purposive random sampling method. The data of research was student’s mathematical concept understanding. According to the data analyisis result, it was obtained that the average of student’s mathematical concept understanding in TGT learning were higher than conventional learning at significant degree 5%. The conclusion of research is the applied of cooperative learning type TGT give positive influence to the understanding of student’s mathematical concept. PENGARUH PENDEKATAN PROBLEM POSING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis quasi experimental research aims to find out the influence of problem posing approach towards student’s ability of mathematical communication which is obtain by problem posing into three cognitive activiiesy that are pre-solution posing, within solution posing and post solution posing. Population is students of eighth grade even semester of SMPN 1 Natar South Lampung in 2012/2013 as many as 391 students who distributed in twelve classes. The sample purposive sampling technique, that are VIII E and VIII H class. The design is the posttest-only control-group. Based on the results of hypothesis test, average of the student’s ability of mathematical communication in problem posing approach class is higher than average of students’ ability of mathematical communication in conventional learning class. Thus, problem posing approach influences student’s ability of mathematical communication of students SMPN 1 Natar South Lampung in 2012/2013.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan problem posing terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diaplikasikan dalam 3 (tiga) aktivitas kognitif yaitu pre-solution posing, within solution posing dan post solution posing. Populasi adalah siswa kelas VIII semester genap SMP Negeri 1 Natar Lampung Selatan tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 sebanyak 391 yang terdistribusi dalam dua belas kelas. The result of research shows that problem posing approach has influence towards student’s mathematical conceptual understanding, a case study on seventh grade students of Junior High School State 1 Natar in academic year 2012/2013.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan problem posing terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Pendekatan problem posing merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang dapat melatih siswa untuk bertanya dengan pertanyaan yang mereka rancang sendiri sesuai dengan pemahaman siswa tersebut. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah posttest only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII yang berkemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis sedang dan tinggi SMPN 1 Natar tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIB dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. This research using posttest only control group design. The population of this research are all students of eight grade Junior High School State 1 Natar with The Education Year 2012/2013. The sample of this research are two classes from twelve classes that choosed by purposive random sampling technique.
