PENGEMBANGAN E-MODUL PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DISERTAI NILAI-NILAI KEISLAMAN MELALUI PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL PADA MATERI SPLDV
This development research aims to produce an e-module for learning mathematics with Islamic values through a contextual approach to the material of a valid and practical two-variable linear equation system. The development model used in this research is the ADDIE development model. The stages in the ADDIE development model are Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The Implementation stage was not carried out because the researchers only focused on producing a product until it was valid and practical so that it could be implemented. Data analysis techniques are used in the form of interview sheets, validation questionnaire sheets, and practicality test questionnaire sheets. The research subjects used ten students of class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Metro. The validity test was carried out by two material expert validators, two media expert validators and 1 Islamic values expert validator, obtaining a percentage of 86% with very valid criteria. The small-scale practicality test received a percentage of 95% with very practical measures. Based on the requirements that have been obtained, the developed e-module meets the valid and practical criteria.Keywords: contextual; development; e-module; islamic value AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan e-modul pembelajaran matematika disertai nilai-nilai keislaman melalui pendekatan kontekstual pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel yang valid dan praktis. Model pengembangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini mengadaptasi model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Tahap Implementation tidak dilakukan karena peneliti hanya fokus menghasilkan suatu produk hingga valid dan praktis agar dapat di implementasikan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berupa lembar wawancara, lembar angket validasi, lembar angket uji kepraktisan. Subjek penelitian menggunakan 10 peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Metro. Uji kevalidan dilakukan oleh 2 validator ahli materi, 2 validator ahli media dan 1 validator ahli nilai-nilai keislaman memperoleh presentase sebesar 86% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Uji kepraktisan skala kecil memperoleh presentase sebesar 95% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. METODE DISKUSI UNTUK MENGEMBANGKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF MATEMATIKA SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN DARING
AbstractActiveness and cognitive learning outcomes of students are important things to achieve success in the learning process. However, the fact is that the activeness and cognitive learning outcomes of students in a private high school in Tomohon, North Sulawesi are still not optimal in the online learning process carried out by the author. This is because the teacher is less precise in choosing and implementing learning methods. To overcome this, the author uses the discussion method in online learning. This research using the descriptive qualitative method aims to describe the implementation of the discussion method in developing the activeness and cognitive learning outcomes of students in online learning. The instruments in this study consisted of the teacher's reflection journal, lesson plans, and test of students' cognitive learning outcomes. With the research subject of class XI IPA 2 students, totaling 27 students. The results showed that there was a development in students' activeness and cognitive learning outcomes after applying the discussion method. In conclusion, a discussion process such as dividing students into small groups can provide broad opportunities for students to be active during learning so that students can be directly involved in solving problems and lead to optimal learning outcomes.Keywords: activeness; cognitive learning outcomes; discussion method AbstrakKeaktifan dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa merupakan hal penting untuk mencapai keberhasilan pada proses pembelajaran. Namun faktanya keaktifan dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa di salah satu SMA swasta di Tomohon, Sulawesi Utara masih belum maksimal pada proses pembelajaran daring yang dilakukan penulis. Hal ini dikarenakan kurang tepatnya guru dalam memilih dan menerapkan metode pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut penulis menggunakan metode diskusi pada pembelajaran daring. Penelitian yang menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan metode diskusi dalam mengembangkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar kognitif matematika siswa pada pembelajaran daring. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari jurnal refleksi guru, RPP, dan tes hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI IPA 2 yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perkembangan dalam keaktifan dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa setelah menerapkan metode diskusi. Kesimpulannya melalui proses diskusi seperti membagi siswa dalam kelompok kecil dapat memberikan kesempatan yang luas kepada siswa untuk aktif selama pembelajaran sehingga siswa dapat terlibat langsung menyelesaikan masalah dan berujung pada optimalnya hasil belajar.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar kognitif siswa; keaktifan; metode diskusi DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/mtk/v10i1.pp16-26
PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL WHATSAPP DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19
The problem in this research was the low mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade Elementary School in Metro Timur.The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of use of WhatsApp social media with mathematic learning outcomes. This type of research is ex-post facto correlation. Sampling in this study used a probability sampling technique, namely propotionately stratified random sampling. The study population was 205 students and the research sample was 69 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation study, and interview. Data analysis using product moment correlation. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between use of WhatsApp social media with mathematics learning outcomes indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.59 and a contribution of 34,81% at the "quite strong" level. Keywords: covid-19; mathematics learning outcomes; whatsapp AbstrakPermasalahan pada penelitian ini ialah rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V Sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk melihat hubungan pemakaian media sosial WhatsApp pada hasil belajar matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto korelasi. Penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini memakai teknik probability sampling yaitu propotionated stratified random sampling. Populasi penelitian adalah 205 orang peserta didik dan sampel penelitian adalah 69 orang peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data memakai angket, studi dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data memakai korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa ada kaitan yang positif dan relevan antara pemakaian media sosial WhatsApp pada hasil belajar matematika yang diperlihatkan dengan koefisien korelasi sebanyak 0,59 dan kontribusi sebanyak 34,81% pada taraf “cukup kuat”. PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS ANDROID PADA MATERI ATURAN SINUS DAN COSINUS DI MASA PANDEMI
AbstractThis study aimed to develop android-based interactive multimedia and analyze student responses to android-based interactive multimedia in mathematics. The research method used is Research and Development, with 7 out of 10 steps of Borg and Gall development, namely: (1) Research and data collection, (2) Planning, (3) Initial product development, (4) Initial product trial, (5) Product improvement, (6) Field trial, (7) Completion of field test results. The sample was taken randomly, namely class X. IPS 1 MA Assa'adah Jamanis, totaling 31 students. Due to gadget limitations, only 25 students can join. Data was collected using interviews, documentation studies, questionnaires (for media experts, material experts, and students), and tests (pre-test and post-test). Data analysis techniques are calculating and recapitulating the questionnaire, calculating the percentage of eligibility from the validators, converting the average score that has been obtained into qualitative values according to the assessment criteria, attractiveness analysis, and effectiveness analysis. The learning media developed is very feasible based on the validation of media experts and material experts. Media can be used in the learning process to help students understand the sine and cosine rule learning material. In addition, the use of learning media can also improve student learning outcomes during the pandemic. Keywords: android-based media; covid-19 pandemic; sine cosine rule AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan multimedia interaktif berbasis android dan menganalisis tanggapan siswa pada penggunaan multimedia interaktif berbasis android pada mata pelajaran matematika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development, dengan 7 dari 10 langkah pengembangan Borg dan Gall yaitu: (1) Penelitian dan pengumpulan data, (2) Perencanaan, (3) Pengembangan produk awal, (4) Uji coba produk awal, (5) Penyempurnaan produk, (6) Uji coba lapangan, (7) Penyempurnaan produk hasil uji lapangan. Sampel diambil secara acak yaitu kelas X. IPS 1 MA Assa’adah Jamanis yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Karena keterbatasan gadget, siswa yang bisa bergabung hanya 25 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, studi dokumentasi, angket (untuk ahli media, ahli materi dan siswa) dan test (pre-test dan post-test). Teknik analisis data adalah menghitung dan merekap angket, menghitung persentase kelayakan dari para validator, konversi skor rata-rata yang telah diperoleh menjadi nilai kualitatif sesuai dengan kriteria penilaian, analisis kemenarikan dan analisis efektivitas. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan termasuk sangat layak berdasarkan validasi ahli media dan ahli materi. Media dapat digunakan pada proses pembelajaran dan dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami materi pembelajaran aturan sinus dan cosinus. Selain itu penggunaan media pembelajaran juga bisa meningkatkan capaian hasil belajar siswa di masa pandemi. ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA BERDASARKAN GAYA KOGNITIF
Problem-solving ability is a characteristic of mathematical activities and a major ability in developing mathematical understanding. Mathematical problem-solving ability can be seen from several dimensions, one of which is cognitive style. Cognitive style is a unique way for each individual to acquire, process, store, use the information to respond to tasks or situations, and build knowledge. FD and FI cognitive styles are one type of cognitive style that are categorized by general ways of thinking, solving problems, learning, and dealing with other people so that they have a relationship with problem-solving abilities. The subjects in this study involved 72 students (around the age of 13-14 years), namely 33 students with FD cognitive style and 39 students with FI cognitive style. The problem-solving ability test instrument in this study was a mathematical problem-solving ability test that had been validated by experts and tested for reliability. The cognitive style test instrument is the Group Embedded Figure Test (GEFT) item developed by Witkin. ANALISIS KARAKTERISTIK STIMULUS DAN LEVEL KOGNITIF SOAL UM-PTKIN TAHUN 2019
PTKIN plays a role in improving human resources, so a selection system is needed which can select students according to their competence. UM-PTKIN is one of a system for selecting prospective students. In the selection system, the questions being tested require the ability to think from low to a high level of prospective students so that knowing the characteristics of the questions being tested is one of the keys to the success of prospective students in facing selection. This study aims to classify the characteristics of the UM-PTKIN questions based on the form of the question stimulus and the cognitive level of the questions based on the revised Bloom`s Taxonomy. This type of research is qualitative research using content or document analysis techniques based on the characteristics of the stimulus and the cognitive level of questions. The data collection techniques in this study used non-test techniques and focus group discussion (FGD) using questionnaires and FGD guidelines. The results showed 1) mathematics questions on UM-PTKIN basic ability test in 2019 with the 1911 script code contains 3 questions in the form of image stimulus, 1 question in the form of graphical stimulus and tables, 3 questions in the form of stimulus formulas, 2 questions in the form of stimulus for mathematical equations, 4 questions in the form of stimulus examples and 13 questions in the form of case fragment stimulus; 2) The questions contained 26% in the LOTS question category, 30% with the MOST question category and 44% with the HOTS question category with the overall distribution of the question material, the material of the flat shape was the material that appears the most.Keywords: cognitive level; mathematics; stimulus; test; UM-PTKINDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/mtk/v9i2.pp184-19
PEMBELAJARAN DARING MATEMATIKA BERBANTUAN GOOGLE CLASSROOM DITINJAU DARI GAYA BELAJAR PADA MASA PANDEMI
AbstractThe purpose of the study was to determine the differences in mathematics learning outcomes and the effectiveness of google classroom-assisted learning in terms of learning styles on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research used an experimental research method with a randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Sampling using a simple random sampling technique. The population of this research is the seventhgrade students of one of the public junior high schools in Sleman. The sample of this study amounted to 54 students consisting of class VII C and VII D. The data collection techniques used in this study were tests and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used in this study were normality test, homogeneity test, similarity test, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that: (1) there are differences in learning outcomes in bold learning assisted by google classroom; (2) bold learning assisted by google classroom is more effective in terms of visual learning styles; (3) bold learning assisted by google classroom is not more effective in terms of auditory and kinesthetic learning styles.Keywords: google classroom; learning style; online learning AbstrakTujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar matematika dan efektifitas pembelajaran daring berbantuan google classroom ditinjau dari gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji kesamaan, dan uji hipotesis. PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI TERBIMBING DENGAN MEDIA PAPAN OPERASI MATRIKS
AbstractThe purpose of this research is to increase the historical value of material through a guided inquiry model with the medium of mɑtrix operation of the matrix material. This research uses classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 20 students of class XI MIPA Islamic Private High School Muthmainnah Ende. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of teacher activity data and student activity well as analysis of learning test results. The results showed that guided inquiry learning matrix operation board media could improve student learning outcomes matrix material with the percentage of student activity from 64% in cycle I increasing 18% to 82% in cycle II. Teacher activity in cycle I 77.75% increased 9.75% to 87.50% in cycle II. The average value in the initial test was 44.25, increased by 29.5 in the first cycle with an average of 73.75, and the second cycle increased by 11 values in the second cycle with an average of 84.75. PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK: PENDEKATAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIKA DAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH
This study aims to improve mathematics communication skills and problem solving through the application of realistic mathematics education. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research. The research subjects were 18 students of class V SD Muhammadiyah Notoprajan, while the object of this research was the mathematics communication skills and problem solving abilities. The data collection techniques used were tests and observations. The data collection instruments used were mathematical communication test questions and problem solving, and observation sheets. Mathematical communication data and problem solving abilities were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study indicate that there is an increase in mathematics communication skills and problem solving through the application of realistic mathematics education. This is indicated by the percentage of students with high and very high mathematics communication skills in the first cycle of 72.22% and an increase in the second cycle to 94%. ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN KOMPETENSI STRATEGIS MATEMATIS SISWA PADA MATERI PERSAMAAN DAN PERTIDAKSAMAAN LINEAR SATU VARIABEL
The object of this research is to understand the strategic competence of the students in the parallel materials and linear equations of one variable in the SMPN 3 Karawang Barat in solving the story quiz. The eighth-graders of SMPN 3 Karawang Barat are the subject of this report. It is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach. A method for data collection is the strategic competence test. The student's assessments are scored and the problem analysis is carried out to understand the markers of a strategic mathematical skill that requires the ability to understand the situation and conditions of a problem, to choose an acceptable presentation to help solve the problem. Research indicates that the student category already able to fill all of the indicators of mathematical strategic competence is 18.9%, the student who has been able to fill some indicators is 67.6% and the student who has not yet been able to fill all indicators is 13.5%.
