    EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TIME TOKEN DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS

    This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of time token type in terms of students mathematical communication skill. The population of this research was all students of grade 8th of State Junior High School 2 Metro in academic year of 2015/2016 as many as 237 students which were distributed into eight classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII-A and VIII-C class that were determined by purposive random sampling. This research used pretestposttest control group design. Based on results of research and discussion, it was concluded that the cooperative learning model of time token type wasnt effective in terms of students mathematical communication skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe time token ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Metro pada tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 sebanyak 237 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam delapan kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-A dan VIII-C yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretestposttest control group design. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran time token tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: efektivitas, komunikasi matematis, time toke

    This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of group investigation type viewed by students mathematical problem solving skill. The design which was used was posttest only control design with the population was all students of grade eight of Junior High School TMI Roudlotul Quran Metro in academic year of 2014/2015. The research samples were students of VIIIC and VIIID class that were determined by purposive random sampling. The data of mathematical problem solving skill were obtained by essay test. Based on the result of data analysis, it was concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model of group investigation type was effective viewed by students mathematical problem solving skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Desain yang digunakan adalah posttest-only control design dengan populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP TMI Roudlotul Quran Metro tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIIC dan VIIID yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Data kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa diperoleh dari tes uraian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.Kata kunci: efektivitas, group investigation, pemecahan masala

    DESKRIPSI PEMBELAJARAN SOCRATES KONTEKSTUAL DITINJAU DARI DISPOSISI PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA

    This research aimed to describe the Socrates contextual learning in terms of students disposition of mathematical conceptual understanding. The subjects of this research were students of VII C class of SMPN 19 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2015/2016. The data of this research were qualitative data of students disposition of mathematical conceptual understanding which were obtained by observation, interview, and documentation. The technique of data analysis used three stages, which were reducting, displaying, and getting the conclusion of data. Based on the result of this research, it was concluded that the indicator of disposition of mathematical conceptual understanding which appeared dominantly in Socrates contextual learning was self-confidence.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran Socrates kontekstual ditinjau dari disposisi pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII C SMPN 19 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Data penelitian ini merupakan data kualitatif tentang disposisi pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan terhadap data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh simpulan bahwa indikator disposisi pemahaman konsep matematis yang dominan muncul pada pembelajaran Socrates kontekstual adalah kepercayaan diri.Kata kunci: disposisi pemahaman konsep, kontekstual, socrate

    PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR MATEMATIKA BERBASIS E-LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA SISWA

    This research aimed to (1) develop the e-learning based teaching material in circle to increase students understanding of mathematical concept; (2) find out the conceptual understanding after using e-learning based mathematical teaching material; and (3) determine the responses of the students to teaching material developed. The research methods was Research and Development. The data of mathematical conceptual understanding was obtained by test. The results of this research were (1) e-learning based mathematical teaching materials in circles was applied online; (2) The using of e-learning based mathematical teaching materials in grade VIII of junior high school in circle can improve student understanding of mathematical concepts; and (3) the e-learning based teaching materials got very good response of students.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengembangkan bahan ajar matematika berbasis e-learning materi pokok lingkaran untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa; (2) mengetahui pemahaman konsep siswa setelah menggunakan bahan ajar matematika berbasis e-learning; dan (3) mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian adalah Research and Development. Data pemahaman konsep matematika siswa diperoleh dari hasil tes. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu (1) bahan ajar matematika berbasis e-learning materi lingkaran yang diaplikasikan secara online; (2) penggunaan bahan ajar matematika berbasis e-learning materi lingkaran kelas VIII SMP dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa; dan (3) bahan ajar berbasis e-learning yang dikembangkan mendapatkan tanggapan yang sangat baik dari siswa.Kata kunci: bahan ajar, e-learning, pemahaman konsep matematik

The design of this research was posttest only control design with the population was all students of grade 7th of SMP Kartika II-2 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2015/2016 and the samples of this research were students of VII 2 and VII 3 class that were taken by purposive sampling technique. The data of understanding of mathematical concepts were obtained by test. The result of this research concluded that the implementation of problem based learning model was effective in terms of students understanding of mathematical concepts and more effective than conventional learning.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis masalah ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah posttest-only control design dengan populasinya seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Kartika II-2 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2015/ 2016 dan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII 2dan VII 3 yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data pemahaman konsep matematis siswa diperoleh melalui tes.     PENGEMBANGAN LKPD BERBASIS MASALAH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS DAN SELF EFFICACY

    This research development aimed to develop of problem based worksheet for increasing mathematical communication ability and students self efficacy. This study was initiated with preliminary studies (need anaysis), the composing, the validation, the initial trial period and the field trial of worksheet. The subject of this research was students of VIII D class of MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The result of preliminary study indicated that there was a need to develop problem based worksheet. The arranges of worksheet were started with the draft-preperation and all of components based on the composing guidelines. The result of the validation showed that the worksheet got the standard qualification for its content and design. The field trial results showed that students mathematical communication aspect was good enough because more than 75 % of the students have reached minimum criteria and students self efficacy did not show any significant changes.Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis masalah guna meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self efficacy siswa. Penelitian ini diawali dari studi pendahuluan (analisis kebutuhan), penyusunan LKPD, validasi LKPD, uji coba lapangan awal, dan uji lapangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII D MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan dikembangkannya LKPD berbasis masalah. Penyusunan LKPD diawali dengan menyusun rancangan dan semua komponennya berdasarkan panduan penyusunan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa LKPD telah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi dan desain. Hasil uji coba lapangan awal menunjukkan bahwa LKPD termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan bahwa aspek komunikasi matematis siswa cukup baik karena lebih dari 75% siswa telah memenuh kriteria ketuntasan minimal dan self efficacy siswa belum menunjukan perubahan yang signifikan.Kata kunci: LKPD berbasis masalah, komunikasi matematis,self efficac

    EFEKTIVITAS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS DAN SELF CONCEPT

    This research was aimed to know the effectiveness of problem based learning in terms of students mathematical representation ability, percentage of student who reach the mastery learning, and self concept. The population of this research was all students of grade 8th of SMPN 25 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2015/2016 which was distributed into 9 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIIIA and VIIIC class who were taken by purposive sampling technique. The design of this research was posttest only control group design. The research data were obtained by mathematical representation ability test and self concept scale. Based on the result of data analysis, problem based learning wasnt effective in terms of self concept and percentage of students who reach the mastery learning but it was effective in terms of mathematical representation ability.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas problem based learning ditinjau dari kemampuan representasi matematis, persentase tuntas belajar, dan self concept siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 25 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang terdistribusi dalam sembilan kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIA dan VIIIC yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain yang digunakan adalah posttest only control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan representasi matematis dan skala self concept. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, problem based learning tidak efektif ditinjau dari self concept dan persentase tuntas belajar siswa tetapi efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan representasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: problem based learning, representasi matematis, self concep

    PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS SISWA

    This research aimed to find out the influence of problem based learning model towards students representative mathematical ability. This research design was pretestposttest control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade eight of Junior High School 1 Gisting in academic year of 2015/2016 which were distributed into seven classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII 1 and VIII 2 class who were taken by purposive random sampling technique. The data of this research were obtained by representative mathematical ability test and it was analyzed by Wilcoxon Rank-Sum test. Based on the result of data analysis, it was concluded that problem based learning model did not influence towards students representative mathematical ability.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretestposttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gisting tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang terdistribusi dalam tujuh kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII 1 dan VIII 2yang diambil dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan representasi matematis dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Rank-Sum.     PENERAPAN METODE MIND MAPPING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA

    This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the increasing of students ability of understanding of mathematical concepts who was taught by mind mapping learning method. The design which was used was pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade eight of Junior High School of 14 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2015/2016. The purposive random sampling technique was used to take two classes as the research samples. The data of this research were obtained by test of ability of understanding of mathematical concepts. Based on the result and discussion, it was concluded that the implementation of mind mapping method could increase students ability of understanding of mathematical concepts.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode mind mapping. Desain yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 14 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Teknik purposive random sampling digunakan untuk mengambil 2 kelas sebagai sampel penelitian. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penerapan metode mind mapping dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata kunci: mind mapping, peningkatan, pemahaman konsep matemati
