PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA SCAFFOLDING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH DAN DISPOSISI MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis research aimed to develop scaffolding media in mathematics learning which effective in terms of problem solving skills and students' mathematical disposition. The subject of this research was students of VII A class of SMP Negeri 1 Kotabumi. Some types of scaffolding media were cue cards, handouts, examples and suggestions on the materials triangles and rectangles been selected to be developed in two phases of SSCS learning model. The result of validation indicated that the scaffolding media has a standard feasibility of contens, laguages, and media. Additionally results of trials of small groups included in either category. The research data was obtained by the test of problem solving skills and the results of a mathematical disposition observations on each meeting. The research result obtained from the n-gain pretest and posttest get a high score of 0.72 categorized and mathematical disposition on each meeting to increase in most students.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media scaffolding pada pembelajaran matematikayang efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan disposisi matematis siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 1 Kotabumi. Beberapa jenis media scaffolding yaitu kartu petunjuk, handouts, contoh dan anjuran pada materi segitiga dan segi empat dipilih untuk dikembangkan pada dua fase model pembelajaran SSCS. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media scaffolding telah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi, bahasa dan media. Selain itu, hasil uji coba kelompok kecil termasuk dalam kategori baik. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil observasi disposisi matematis pada tiap pertemuan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa n-gain pretest dan posttest mendapatkan skor 0,72 yang berkategori tinggi dan disposisi matematis pada tiap pertemuan meningkat pada sebagian besar siswa.Kata kunci: disposisi matematis, pemecahan masalah, scaffoldin
EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TEAM GAMES TOURNAMENT DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS

The population of this research was all students of grade 8th of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2015/2016 which was distributed into 6 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIIIA and VIIIB class who were taken by purposive sampling technique. The design which was used was posttest only control group design. The research data were obtained by mathematical representation ability test. Based on the result of data analysis, cooperative learning model of team games tournament type wasnt effective in terms of mathematical representation ability.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe team games tournament ditinjau dari kemampuan representasi matematis. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang terdistribusi dalam enam kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIA dan VIIIB yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain yang digunakan adalah posttest only control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan representasi matematis. EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK TALK WRITE DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS

The design which was used was posttest only control design. The population of this research was all students of grade VIII of Junior High School 1 Kalianda in academic year of 2015/2016. The samples of this research were students of VIIIB and VIIID class that were determined by purposive sampling technique. The data of students mathematical communication skill were obtained by essay test. Based on the result and discussion, it was concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning of think talk write type was effective in terms of students mathematical communication skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Desain yang digunakan adalah posttest only control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kalianda tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIB dan VIIID yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa diperoleh melalui tes uraian. EFEKTIVITAS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DITINJAU DARI PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of problem based learning in terms of students understanding of mathematical concepts. The design which was used was posttest only control design. The population of this research was all students of grade eight of Junior High School of 12 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2015/2016 with total 289 students which was distributed into twelve classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII-A and VIII-B class that were determined by purposive random sampling. The data of students understanding of mathematical concepts were obtained by essay test. Based on the result and discussion of this research, it was concluded that the implementation of problem based learning was not effective in terms of students understanding of mathematical concepts but it was better than conventional learning.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas problem based learning ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain yang digunakan adalah posttest only control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP 12 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2015/ 2016 dan sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-Adan VIII-B yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Data pemahaman konsep matematis siswa diperoleh melalui tes uraian. PERBANDINGAN KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT DAN TPS
Get PDFThis quasi-experimental research aimed to compare the increasing of mathematical representation skill of students who learned in cooperative learning model of NHT and TPS type. This research design was pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade 7th of SMPN 25 Bandarlampung in academic years of 2014/2015. The samples of this research were taken by purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained by the test of mathematical representation skill. Based on hypothesis test, it was gotten the conclusion that cooperative learning model of TPS type was better than NHT to increase mathematical representation skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dan TPS. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 25 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling.Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan representasi matematis. Get PDFThis quantitative research aimed to find out the effectiveness of socrates contextual teaching and learning in terms of students understanding of mathematical concepts. The design of this research was one group pretest posttest design with the population was all students of grade 7th of SMP Gajah Mada Bandarlampung in academic year of 2015/2016. The sample of this research was all students of VII B class who were taken by purposive sampling. The data of understanding of mathematical concepts were obtained from pretest and posttest which was given to students before and after participating in socrates contextual teaching and learning process. Based on the result of this research, it was concluded that socrates contextual teaching and learning was effective in terms of students understanding of mathematical concepts. Penelitian kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran Socarates kontekstual ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah one group pretest posttest design dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Gajah Mada Bandarlampung tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII B yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data pemahaman konsep matematis siswa diperoleh dari tes kemampuan awal dan tes kemampuan akhir yang diberikan kepada siswa saat sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti proses pembelajaran Socrates kontekstual. DESKRIPSI DISPOSISI MATEMATIS SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SOCRATES KONTEKSTUAL
Get PDFThis study aimed to describe students mathematical disposition in Socrates contextual learning. The subjects of this study were students of VII B class of SMP Gajah Mada Bandarlampung in academic year of 2015/2016. The data of this study was descriptive qualitative data about students mathematical disposition which were obtained by observation, interview, and documentation. The indicators of mathematical disposition were confidence, curiousity, flexibility, and determination. The data analysis was done in three stages, which were reducting, displaying and verificating of data. Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that Socrates contextual learning could show students mathematical disposition.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan disposisi matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran Socrates kontekstual. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VII B SMP Gajah Mada Bandarlampung tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Data penelitian ini merupakan data kualitatif deskriptif mengenai disposisi matematis siswa yang diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Indikator disposisi matematis adalah percaya diri, keingintahuan, fleksibel, bertekad kuat. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran Socrates kontekstual dapat memunculkan disposisi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: disposisi matematis, kontekstual, socrate

By purposive sampling technique, it was chosen students of VII C class as the research sample. The research data were obtained by mathematical conceptual understanding ability test. Based on hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that Socrates Contextual Learning was not effective in terms of students mathematical conceptual understanding ability.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas Pembelajaran Socrates Kontekstual ditinjau dari kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian kuasi eksperimen ini menggunakan desain one group pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 19 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Dengan teknik purposive sampling terpilih siswa kelas VII C sebagai sampel penelitian. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematik. The design which was used was post-test only control design. The population of this research was all students of grade VIII of MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2015/2016. The purposive sampling technique was used to take two classes as the research samples. The data of this research were obtained by test of understanding of mathematical concepts. Based on the result and discussion, it could be concluded that guided discovery approach was effective in terms of students understanding of mathematical concept. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pendekatan penemuan terbimbing ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain yang digunakan adalah posttest only control design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk mengambil dua kelas sebagai sampel penelitian. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan penemuan terbimbing efektif ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata kunci: efektivitas, pemahaman konsep matematis, penemuan terbimbin
