Deskirpsi Percakapan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa pada Pembelajaran Socrates Saintifik
No full textThis research aimed to describe students understanding of mathematical concepts discourse on Socratic scientific learning. Subjects of research was students of class VII-A Junior High School 1 Natar South Lampung in academic year of 2016/2017. Three procedures of data analysis were data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification. Based on the results of research and discussion, it was concluded that students understanding of mathematical concepts discourse mostly go on through questions of Socrates given by teacher at the scientific stages of communicating, with type clarification, as well as reasons and evidence of investigation. In students with low mathematical ability, mathematical discourse was not running fluently. But in students with high and medium mathematical ability, mathematical discourse was running fluently, focused on the answer and take longer time. In the mathematical discourse, the ability to restate a concept as an indicator of the ability of conceptual mathematical understanding was dominantly showed.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan percakapan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada pembelajaran Socrates saintifik. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-A SMP Negeri 1 Natar Lampung Selatan tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, disimpulan bahwa percakapan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa sebagian besar terjadi melalui pertanyaan Socrates yang diberikan oleh guru pada tahapan saintifik communicating, dengan tipe pertanyaan klarifikasi, serta alasan-alasan dan bukti penyelidikan. Untuk siswa berkemampuan matematis rendah, percakapan matematis yang muncul tidak selalu berjalan lancar. Namun, pada siswa berkemampuan matematis tinggi maupun sedang, percakapan matematis dominan berjalan lancar dan terarah pada jawaban serta berlangsung lebih lama. Dalam percakapan matematis tersebut, kemampuan menyatakan ulang sebuah konsep sebagai indikator dari kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis yang dominan dimunculkan.Kata kunci:metode socrates, pendekatan saintifik, percakapan pemahaman konsep matematis
Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa
Get PDFThis quasi experimental research aimed to know the effect of Think Pair Share cooperative learning model toward students conceptual understanding of mathematics. This research used posttest only control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade VIII of SMP Negeri 23 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2016/2017. Through purposive sampling technique, 2 classes were taken as the samples. The technique that used in this research is technical test. Analysis data of this reasearch used t-test. Based on the result of research, it was concluded that Think Pair Share cooperative learning model have an effect on students conceptual understanding of mathematics.Penelitian eksperimental semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 23 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Melalui teknik purposive sampling 2 kelas diambil sebagai sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik tes. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t. Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Round Table terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa

This research design using posttest only control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade VIII of SMPN 1 Pekalongan Lampung Timur in academic year of 2016/ 2017 that were distributed into 7 classes. The sample of this research was students of VIII-3 class and VIII-6 classthat were determined by purposive random sampling technique. The resultof data analysis used Mann Whitney test showed that the cooperative learning model of round table typeinfluencetowards students mathematical communication skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe round table terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Pekalongan Kabupaten Lampung Timur yang terdistribusi dalam 7 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-3 dan VIII-6 yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Pengembangan LKPD Berbasis ALQURUN Teaching Model untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa
Get PDFThis research and development aimed to produce LKPD based on ALQURUN Teaching Model (ATM), and test their effectiveness on mathematical communication skills. The subjects of this study were students of grade VII Formal Junior High School 1 Purbolinggo in period of 2016/2017. Research data obtained by mathematical communication ability test. Characteristics of the LKPD based on ATM statistical materials developed by ATM syntax, they are the acknowledge, literature, quest, unite, refine, use, and name. The result of the expert validation indicated that LKPD based on ATM meets the content, media, and language feasibility standard and appropriate for using and included in good category. The results of initial field trials and field test results presented students mathematical communication skills using LKPD based on ATM, higher than the mathematical communication ability of students who do not use LKPD based on ATM. Therefore it can be concluded that LKPD part based on ATM be effective to improving students mathematical communication ability. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa LKPD berbasis ALQURUN Teaching Model (ATM), dan menguji efektivitasnya terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Purbolinggo Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Karakteristik LKPD berbasis ATM pada materi statistika dikembangkan berdasarkan sintaks ATM, yaitu acknowledge, literature, quest, unite, refine, use, dan name. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis ATM telah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi, media, dan bahasa serta layak digunakan dan termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil uji coba lapangan awal dan hasil uji coba lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan LKPD berbasis ATM lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang tidak menggunakan LKPD berbasis ATM. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis ATM efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: kemampuan komunikasi matematis, LKPD, ATM
Pengembangan LKPD Berbasis Alqurun Teaching Model untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Matematika
Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to improve understanding of learners concept by developing Learners Worksheets based on ALQURUN Teaching Model (ATM) and to know the effectiveness of the ability to understand the concept. The design of this study follows the stages of research according to Akker. The subjects are students of class X SMK Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung 2016/2017 and some experts at every stage of development. The research data was obtained through a mathematical concept comprehension test. Data analysis techniques use t-test and N-Gain. The result of one to one test shows that the learners worksheet based on ATM is included in a very good category. The field test results show that the ability to understand the mathematical concepts using learners worksheet based on ATM is higher than the ability to understand the mathematical concepts without learners worksheet based on ATM and quite effective in improving the ability to understand the mathematical concepts.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik dengan mengembangkan LKPD berbasis Alqurun Teaching Model (ATM) dan mengetahui efektivitasnya terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan tahap-tahap penelitian menurut Akker. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMK Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 dan beberapa ahli pada setiap tahapan pengembangan. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan N-Gain. Hasil uji perorangan menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis ATM termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji terbatas menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik yang menggunakan LKPD berbasis ATM lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik yang tidak menggunakan LKPD berbasis ATM dan tergolong cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik.Kata kunci: ATM, LKPD, pemahaman konse

Get PDFThe research aimed to develop metacognition based student worksheet. This research used development procedures of Borg & Gall. The trial test was done on students of VIII H class of SMP Al Kautsar Bandar Lampung. The results which were obtained that student worksheet was valid according to media and material expert, practical, and able to enhance the problem solving ability of students. The improving result of students problem-solving ability can be seen from the number of students who scored above the minimum criteria of mastery learning was more than 60%.Penelitian bertujuan mengembangkan lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) berbasis metakognisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur pengembangan Borg & Gall. Uji coba dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas VIII H SMP Al Kautsar Bandar Lampung. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan valid menurut ahli media dan ahli materi, praktis menurut peserta didik, dan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. Hasil peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik dapat dilihat dari jumlah peserta didik yang mendapat nilai di atas kriteria ketuntasan minimal lebih dari 60%.Kata kunci: kemampuan pemecahan masalah, lembar kerja peserta didik, metakognis
Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Guided Inquiry Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa
Get PDFThis research aimed to find out the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model in terms of students mathematical problem solving skill. The population of this research was students of 8th grade in SMPN 21 Bandarlampung that were distributed into 11 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII-H and VIII-I class which were chosen by purposive sampling technique. This research used pretest-posttest control group design. The data were obtained through mathematical problem solving skill test. The data analysis of this research used Mann-Whitney U test and Binomial Sign Test. This research concluded that guided inquiry learning model was not effective in terms of students mathematical problem solving skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran guided inquiry ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 21 Bandarlampung yang terdistribusi dalam 11 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII-H dan VIII-I yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design. Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Representasi Matematis Siswa

But, the increasing of students mathematical representation skills which was taught byguided inquiry learning model was better than conventional learning.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing ditinjau dari kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam dua puluh kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive random sampling dan terpilihlah siswa kelas VIII O dan VIII P. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes kemampuan representasi matematis yang berbentuk uraian. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Mann-Whitney U. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan representasi matematis. Deskripsi Disposisi Berpikir Kritis Matematis dalam Pembelajaran Socrates Saintifik
No full textThis qualitative and descriptive research was aimed to describe the disposition of the students critical thinking mathematical in Scientific Socratic learning. The subject in this research were students of class VII-L of Junior High School 20 Bandar Lampung odd semester in academic year of 2016/2017. The qualitative data of this research was about disposition of students critical thinking mathematical wich were taken by field notes, interview, and documentation. The technique of data analysis used three stages such as reduction, presentation, and conclusion of data. Based on the results of the research, it was concluded the students who have high, middle and low mathematical ability can lead to the critical thinking of disposition in Scientific Socratic learning on materials Linier Equations and Inequations material One Variabel. The dominant indicator of disposition students critical thinking mathematical appear is open-minded indicators.Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan disposisi berpikir kritis matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran Socrates Saintifik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-L SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Data penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif mengenai disposisi berpikir kritis matematis siswa dikumpulkan melalui catatan lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tiga tahapan antara lain reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan terhadap data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa siswa yang memiliki kemampuan matematis tinggi, sedang dan rendah ternyata dapat memunculkan disposisi berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran matematika menggunakan metode Socrates Saintifik pada materi Persamaan dan Pertidaksamaan Linier Satu Variabel. Indikator disposisi berpikir kritis matematis yang dominan muncul adalah indikator berpikiran terbuka.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis matematis, disposisi, kualitatif, metode socrates, pendekatan saintifi
