Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share Terhadap Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa
No full textThis quasi experimental research aimed to find out the effect of Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model toward students’conceptual understanding of mathematics. The population of this research was students of grade VIII of Junior High School of 22 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2016/2017 that were distributed into eleven classes, start from VIII A until VIII K. The sampling was doneby purposive sampling technique and it was chosen students of VIII A and VIII D as samples. This research used posttest only control group design. Research data were obtained through test of mathematical concept comprehension. The data analysis which was used was t-test. Based on the result of research, it was concluded that Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model have an effect on students’conceptual understanding of mathematics. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII semester genap SMP Negeri 22 Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2016-2017 yang terdistribusi dalam 11 (sebelas) kelas, yaitu kelas VIII A sampai VIII K. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dan terpilih siswa pada kelas VIII A dan VIII D sebagai sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan posttest only control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan instrumen tes pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Pengembangan LKPD Berbasis Inquiry untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis
Get PDFThis development research aims to develop worksheet based on inquiry to facilitate the critical thinking ability of learners on the subject of probability. Development stage in this research refers to the model of ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects in this study are students class VIII D SMP Negeri 1 Tulang Bawang Udik Academic Year 2017/2018. This research data obtained through questionnaire and test of critical thinking ability. The results of validation by the instructional media experts and material experts indicate that worksheet is in good category. Initial field test results indicate that worksheet is a practical category. Field test results show that worksheet based on inquiry is not effective in facilitating critical thinking ability, only 68.75% of the students who passed KKM. Thus it can be concluded that worksheet based on inquiry developed is not effective facilitating the critical thinking ability of students.Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis inquiry guna memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pokok bahasan peluang. Tahap pengembangan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII D SMP Negeri 1 Tulang Bawang Udik Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui angket dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis. Hasil validasi oleh ahli media pembelajaran dan ahli materi menunjukkan bahwa LKPD termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil uji lapangan tahap awal menunjukkan bahwa LKPD termasuk kategori praktis. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis inquiry tidak efektif memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kritis, hanya 68,75% peserta didik yang lulus KKM. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis inquiry yang dikembangkan tidak efektif memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.Kata kunci: LKPD, inquiry, kemampuan berpikir kritis, peluan
Pengembangan LKPD Berbasis PBL untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi dan Disposisi Matematis
Get PDFThis research development aims to find out how the result of developing LKPD based on PBL and its effectiveness to mathematical communication and disposition ability of students. Subjects in this research development is students of class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pringsewu Academic Year 2016/2017. The research data was obtained through mathematical communication test and mathematical disposition scale of the students. Preliminary study results indicate the need for the development of LKPD based on PBL. Validation results indicate that LKPD has met the content and design feasibility standards. The results of a limited trial show that LKPD is included in either category. The conclusion of this research are (1) improvement of students' mathematical communication and disposition ability following learning using LKPD based on PBL higher than students who follow conventional learning and, (2) LKPD based on PBL is effective for improving students' mathematical communication skills and mathematical disposition of students. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil mengembangkan LKPD berbasis PBL serta efektifitasnya terhadap kemampuan komunikasi dan disposisi matematis siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pringsewu Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes komunikasi matematis dan skala disposisi matematis siswa. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan dikembangkannya LKPD berbasis PBL. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa LKPD telah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi dan desain. Hasil uji coba terbatas menunjukkan bahwa LKPD termasuk dalam kategori baik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi dan disposisi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan LKPD berbasis PBL lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional, dan (2) LKPD berbasis PBL efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan disposisi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: LKPD PBL, komunikasi matematis, disposisi matemati
Pengembangan LKPD dengan Model PBM untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa
No full textThis study aims to develop the Student Work Sheet with a model of PBL is valid, practical, and see the level of effectiveness in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts. This development research follows the research flow of Borg & Gall development. The subject of this research is the students of grade VIII SMP Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung. Instruments used are nontes and tests. Research data was obtained through questionnaire and concept comprehension test. Data were analyzed descriptively by looking at the validity, validity, and effectivity aspects of LKPD. The results showed that: (a) The developed LKPD had good validity based on the analysis of expert test data of the learning media and the material experts, (b) LKPD with the PBM model effective to improve students' mathematical understanding because more than 70% of students have met the KKM. Thus, LKPD with the PBM model developed is valid, practical, and effective to improve students' mathematical understanding.Pengembangan LKPD dengan Model PBM untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD dengan model PBM yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengikuti alur penelitian pengembangan Borg & Gall. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung. Data penelitian diperoleh menggunakan angket dan instrumen tes pemahaman konsep. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan melihat aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas LKPD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (a) LKPD yang dikembangkan memiliki validitas yang baik,(b) LKPD dengan model PBM efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa karena lebih dari 70% siswa telah memenuhi KKM. Dengan demikian, LKPD dengan model PBM yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata kunci: LKPD, PBM, pemahaman konsep matemati
Pengembangan LKPD Berbasis Mind Mapping untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis dan Self Efficacy
Get PDFDevelopment of LKPD based mind mapping to improve mathematical communication skills and self efficacy aims to produce and determine the effectiveness of the application of LKPD based on mind mapping, in mathematical communication and self-efficacy learners. These stages of development include preliminary study, planning, design development, preliminary testing, revision, field testing, and product improvement. The subject of this research are the students grade XI of TKJ in Vocational High School Muhammadiyah 1 Marga Tiga Lessons Year 2017/2018. Result of field test show that mathematical communication ability and self efficacy learners have improvement by using LKPD based on mind mapping with N-Gain of mathematical communication 0,77 and achievement of self efficacy indicator learners 68,5. So it can be concluded that LKPD based mind mapping feasible to use, because it meets the valid criteria, practical, included in both categories and able to improve the mathematical communication ability and self efficacy learners. Pengembangan LKPD berbasis mind mapping untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self efficacy ini bertujuan menghasilkan dan mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan produk LKPD berbasis mind mapping pada kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self efficacy. Tahapan penelitian pengembangan ini yaitu studi pendahuluan, perencanaan, pengembangan desain, uji coba awal, revisi, uji lapangan, dan penyempurnaan produk. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TKJ SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Marga Tiga Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self efficacy peserta didik mengalami peningkatan dengan menggunakan LKPD matematika berbasis mind mapping dengan N-Gain komunikasi matematis 0,77 dan pencapaian indikator self efficacy peserta didik 68,5. Sehingga disimpulkan LKPD matematika berbasis mind mapping layak digunakan, karena memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, termasuk kategori baik, mampu meningkatkan komunikasi matematis dan self efficacy peserta didik.Kata kunci: mind mapping, komunikasi matematis, self efficacy
Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Problem Posing Ditinjau dari Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa
Get PDFThis experimental aimed to know the effectivity of problem posing model in terms of students’ conceptual understanding of mathematics. The population in this study were all students of VII grade SMP Xaverius Kotabumi in academic year 2018/2019 which were distributed into four classes. The sample of this study were all students of class VII A and VII B selected by using cluster random sampling technique. This research used pretest posttest control group design. The research data was obtained by the test of students’conceptual understanding of mathematics. The analysis data of this research data used t test and propotion test. The analysis of proportion test showed that an increase in students’ conceptual understanding of mathematics is not more than 60% of the number of students participating in problem posing. Based on the results and discussion of this research, it was concluded problem posing model was not effective in terms of students’conceptual understanding of mathematics.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran problem posing ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Xaverius Kotabumi tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 yang terdistribusi dalam empat kelas. Efektivitas Model Discovery Learning Ditinjau dari Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Peserta Didik
Get PDFThis experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of discovery learning model towards student’s mathematical concept comprehension. The population of this research was all students of class VIIISMP Tri Sukses Natar in academic year 2018/2019 that were distributed into 4 classes.The sampling was done by cluste random sampling technique and it was chosen students of VIII A and VIII B as samples. The design used was posttest only control group design. The data in this researh were obtained by mathematical concept comprehension test. The data analysis of this research used proportion test and t-test. The result of this research show that student’s mathematical concept comprehension with discovery learning model similar to conventional model and the proportion of students who have mathematical concept comprehension with value of 70 in the discovery learning model have not reached the effective proportion ecxpected. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it was concluded that discovery learning model was not effective towards student’s mathematical concept comprehension.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model discovery learning ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik. Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Ditinjau dari Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa
