THE IMPORTANCE OF STUDENTS' COLLABORATION IN THE E-LEARNING IMPLEMENTATION
E-Learning. as in the use of technology for teaching and
learning purposes. has been promoted in Indonesia to be an
alternative of learning process. Although it was late if it is compared with other Asian countries. it is a step forward for a learning process in Indonesia. However. many of the E-Learning practices involve the uploading of digitized content materials to a learning management system. In the present. the activity of student is downloading the content materials from his/her lecturer only. It makes the E-Learning
website have no competitive advantage compared with the common website. The E-Learning website should be a medium for the students 10 interact. discuss. and collaborate ill their project work. A collaborative learning can increase better quality of learning because there is a unity of thinking and learning skills. There are several kinds of software which provide the Learning Management Systems (LMS) but not all of them can give media for collaboration. A tutor is one of the LMS that can give a media for the students to create a draft using its virtual room. Each students can give inputs or revise the draft to improve the quality. Then. the final report can be
shared to other students using the virtual library, after the draft is finished

NATIVE OR NON-NATIVE TEACHERS: A STUDY ON TERTIARY TEACHERS BELIEFS IN INDONESIA
ELT professionals and scholars have voiced differing opinions on issues related to nativeness. Given the lack of empirical studies on this topic, the present study aims to document perceptions of non-native teachers on the issues of nativeness. The participants of the study were drawn from one hundred English teachers taught at tertiary level in Indonesia. The study found that the teachers beliefs about the issue of nativeness varied considerably depending on the language skill concerned. However, most respondents agreed that nativeness should not be the determining factor of what constitute a good teacher of English, as educational background and teaching skills should be taken into account. This study learns that the role of non-native English-speaking teachers needs to be further explored and socialized particularly in Indonesia where such issues are rarely addressed
AUTONOMOUS LEARNING IN ELLE: CYBERNAUTICAL APPROACH AS THE VIADUCT TO L2 ACQUISITION
Recent researches on cognitive methods show that institutionalized language learning is a constant source of stress, and a psychological obstacle leading to discomfort and insecurity. In the ELLE (Electronic Language Learning Environment) of the current times cybernautical approach opens attractive horizons by relaxing and empowering the learner, through its emphasis on communication, and by increasing interaction between the learner and the 'teacherfacilitator.
This paper shows how the cybernautical approachfosters L2 acquisition by valorizing 'meaning' and 'content' over 'form' and 'competence in grammatical structures.' The attempt in the paper is to analyze the essential ingredients of the cybernautical approach and explore the practical content of the method in the context of the Sultanate of Oman.
The focus of the presentation is on the (re)defining of the learning space-the classroomwhich has today become a major constraint owing to its spatial (fixed location) and temporal (fIXed class timetable) inflexibility

LITERATURE EXPOSURE IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING AND LEARNING
Teachers often regard literature as inappropriate to
the language classroom. Teaching literature in foreign
language classroom becomes essential if teachers are
concerned with the meaningful foreign language learning
activities experienced by the students. It is not sufficient to only
emphasize on acquiring mastery of structure andform but also
involves acquiring the ability to interpret literary discourse in
all its social and cultural contexts. Accordingly, this study
focuses on literature exposure in English language teaching
and learning. This study which is a descriptive qualitative
study was endorsed the data from two sources: namely is the
English lecturer and the students of the English Department of
UMM The instruments used included interview and
questionnaire. The result of the analysis indicates literature
exposure has an essential role in English language learning
because it is beneficial to the learners' linguistic development,
create opportunities for personal expression as well as
reinforce students' knowledge of lexical and grammatical
structure. Moreover, it becomes important for English teacher
to consider cultural contexts into their English language
teaching. Students should be given the opportunity in the
selection of materials and classroom activities that can expose
and enhance students' literary knowledge and understanding

This paper discusses the techniques used by major Indonesian author Umar Kayam for presenting representations of American English and Javanese language and culture in his early Indonesian-language short stories, published as Sri Sumarah dan Cerita Pendek Lainnya in 1975. language functions as a primary weapon to win over people.

argument structure) together with figures of speech are used
to be the theories that correspond to central route and
peripheral route in Elaboration Likelihood Model. The data
which consist of three episodes of Mario Teguh Golden Ways were downloadedfrom Youtubewebsite, and transcribed
