Alters- und Bildungsnormen für das Kölner Neuropsychologische Screening für Schlaganfallpatienten (KöpSS)
Zusammenfassung: Zusammenfassung. Anhand einer Stichprobe von 524 gesunden Probanden wurden alters- und bildungsabhängige Normen für den Kognitionsgesamtwert des Kölner Neuropsychologischen Screenings für Schlaganfallpatienten (KöpSS) erstellt. Es zeigten sich Gruppenunterschiede zwischen Probanden in den Altersgruppen von ≤ 69 und > 69 Jahren und zwischen ≤ 13 und > 13 Bildungsjahren. Das KöpSS ist ein multidimensionales neuropsychologisches Testverfahren, das sich insbesondere für die Anwendung in der Frühphase nach Schlaganfällen eignet. Es umfasst die Fremdbeurteilungsskalen Testbarkeit und Testverhalten, die Testung kognitiver Funktionen in acht Domänen sowie eine Selbstbeurteilungsskala zur Affektivität. Neben den Haupteffekten von Alter und Bildung wurden keine geschlechtsabhängigen Unterschiede oder Interaktionen gefunden.Age and Educational Norms for the Cologne Neuropsychological Screening for Stroke Patients (KöpSS)Abstract: Abstract. Behavioral repertoires in dynamic crowds: Interplay between physical, collective and inter-personal factors
More than a century of research has gradually demystified crowds (e. g. they are neither swarms, homogeneous, nor irrational). But despite considerable advances, coordinated movement in crowds remains a scientific puzzle. Within crowds we see an interplay between physical and socio-psychological factors that is challenging to study. Our collaboration therefore aims to integrate these hitherto separate disciplines at multiple levels (conceptually and methodologically). We present work (experiments with groups of 80-90 participants) to show that crowds have different repertoires (walking, queuing, huddling) and can transition between them. The transitions between these ways of behaving occur fluently, typically without overt gesturing, and sometimes rapidly. This raises the question: how do these patterns emerge and propagate? For selected cases, we show this emergence through physical (e.g., velocity or density) and socio-psychological factors. Then we present the results of a set of small experiments (20-30 participants) which directly manipulate the physical, collective and inter-personal factors by which we hypothesize crowds to coordinate. For this study we use quantitative analysis of movement parameters, post-experimental questionnaires and qualitative analysis of observational data. We end the presentation outlining our future research goals towards further integration
