Measuring Financial Literacy of Young Adults in The Digital Economy: A Gender Perspective
This study aim to assess young adults' financial literacy and determine whether financial literacy differs between males and females. Additionally, this study examines whether students in the Faculty of Economics and Business are more financially literate than those in other faculties. This research using a survey approach where data collection is conducted through questionnaires. The target population includes students aged 18 to 22 from various universities across Java. Respondents were selected through a census method. In this study, we collected 333 respondents with valid data of 331 respondents. The data analysis method includes descriptive analysis and confirmatory analysis. The result of this study shows that money attitude does not significantly influence financial literacy; however, after being analyzed per dimension, the avoidance and reward dimensions significantly influence financial literacy. Gender does not positively influence Financial Literacy, and no disparities in financial literacy among students with exposure to financial education and those without such exposure
Wealth Accumulation: The Influence of Certain Types of Financial Literacy and Moderated Islamic Spiritual Intelligence
This study aims to examine whether several types of financial literacy, namely deposit literacy, risk literacy and debt literacy affect on wealth accumulation, with Islamic spiritual intelligence as a moderating variabel. Respondents in this study were 200 households in Magelang City and Magelang Regency. Through multiple linear regression test and MRA tests, it is known that deposit literacy, risk literacy and debt literacy have a significant effect on wealth accumulation. Furthermore, the Islamic spiritual intelligence is able to strengthen unsignificantly the influence of deposit literacy and debt literacy on wealth accumulation. Meanwhile, the influence of risk literacy to wealth accumulation is weaken significantly by Islamic spiritual intelligence. Company Size and the Presence of Independent Commissioners, Can They Affect the Disclosure of Enterprise Risk Management?
This study aims to determine the effect of company size and independent commissioners on the disclosure of Enterprise Risk Management. The object of this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2019-2021 with a total of 31 companies that meet the criteria using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis using SPSS. The results of the study show that company size has a significant effect on Enterprise Risk Management disclosure. Meanwhile, the Independent Commissioner has no effect on the disclosure of Enterprise Risk Management. These results contribute to investors for investment decisions based on company size. This means that the larger the size of the company, the company tends to disclose more extensive information about risk management
The Influence of ESG Disclosures on Financial Distress Considering The Director's Financial Expertise as a Moderating Factor
This research aims to examine the relationship between Environmental, Social andGovernance disclosures on Financial Distress and Director's Financial Skills as a moderation. This research method is quantitative. The sample for this research is Consumer Cyclical subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2019 - 2021 period. The research data source uses secondary data from financial reports and company annual reports. The sampling technique was carried out using purposive sampling and a sample of 108 samples was obtained. This research uses a panel regression analysis test with a Random Effect Model. The results show that ESG disclosure has a significant influence on Financial Distress by showing a probability value lower than alpha 5%. The Director's Financial Skills variable is also proven to strengthen the relationship between ESG disclosure and Financial Distress with a profitability value of 0.000 or 5% This research aims to examine the relationship between Environmental, Social and Governance disclosures on Financial Distress and Director's Financial Skills as a moderation. Financial Behavior, Inclusion, and Technology in MSMEs: The Mediating Impact of Financial Literacy on Performance
The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of financial behavior, financial inclusion, and financial technology on MSME performance with financial literacy as a mediating variable. The research population included all micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) located in Ciamis Regency, and the sample was drawn using a random sampling technique. A total of 106 respondents participated; this number was determined by applying Slovin's formula. Information was collected using a questionnaire, which was then processed and analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results show that financial behavior has a positive impact on MSME performance, financial inclusion has no significant impact on MSME performance, financial technology has no impact on MSME performance, and financial literacy has a positive impact on MSME performance, financial literacy acts as an intermediary between financial behavior and MSME performance, financial literacy mediates the relationship between financial inclusion and MSME performance, and financial literacy does not mediate the relationship between financial technology and MSME performance. Recommendations for government agencies and financial institutions include providing well-structured financial literacy programs and assisting MSMEs in implementing financial technology. This approach is intended to increase MSMEs' access to financial services as well as their capacity for sustainable growth by equipping them with the knowledge and skills to effectively utilize these resources in their day-to-day business activities.
Isomorfisme Institusional Pada Pengungkapan SDGs Didalam Sustainability Reporting
Based on the institutional isomorphism theory approach, this study aims to examine the impact of government policies as a coercive factor, as well as the role of CSR governance and the concept of corporate sustainability strategic management as normative factors for organizational change regarding compliance and appropriateness of SDGs disclosure in sustainability reports (SR). Using secondary data from 231 company SRs which operating in Indonesia for the reporting period 2018-2020, obtained 136 SRs that meet the research sample criteria, and then processed by testing statistical regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the level of disclosure of corporate support for SDGs in SR is influenced by CSR governance and corporate sustainability strategic management
ANALISIS KUALITAS KINERJA AUDITOR INSPEKTORAT”
Penelitian ini dilakukan agar dapat mengetahui apakah kompetensi, independensi, akuntabilitas, objektivitas, motivasi dan masa kerja berpengaruh terhadap kualitas hasil auditor Inspektorat dari salah satu Kantor Inspektorat yang ada di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Model regresi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS. Sampel pada penelitian ini dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling sebanyak 31 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel kompetensi dan motivasi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas hasil audit internal, sedangkan variabel akuntabilitas, objektivitas, dan masa kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas hasil audit internal serta variabel independensi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kualitas hasil audit internal
Perguruan Tinggi Negeri BLU di Indonesia; Pengelolaan Anggaran, Karakteristik, dan Peningkatan Kinerja
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh alokasi anggaran dan karakteristik institusi terhadap kinerja Perguruan Tinggi Negeri berstatus BLU. Alokasi anggaran terdiri dari anggaran rupiah murni, PNBP, dan pinjaman luar negeri, sedangkan karakteristik institusi terdiri dari ukuran perguruan tinggi, jumlah tenaga pendidik, dan jumlah mahasiswa. Alokasi anggaran rupiah murni kemudian dirinci menurut jenis belanja, yaitu belanja pegawai, belanja barang, dan belanja modal. Sementara itu, alokasi anggaran PNBP dirinci juga menurut jenis belanja, yaitu belanja barang dan belanja modal. Hasil analisis mengindikasikan bahwa alokasi anggaran pada PTN BLU secara umum belum optimal untuk menunjang kinerja PTN BLU. Alokasi anggaran rupiah murni belanja pegawai, belanja barang, dan belanja modal berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja PTN BLU. Alokasi anggaran PNBP belanja barang berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja PTN BLU. Akan tetapi, alokasi anggaran PNBP belanja modal dan alokasi anggaran pinjaman luar negeri berpengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap kinerja PTN BLU. Selain itu, karakteristik institusi berupa ukuran perguruan tinggi dan jumlah tenaga pendidik berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja PTN BLU, sedangkan jumlah mahasiswa tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja PTN BL
Pengaruh Financial Distress dan Corporate Governance Terhadap Kecepatan Publikasi Laporan Keuangan
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah financial distress dan good corporate governance berpengaruh terhadap kecepatan publikasi laporan keuangan pada industri pariwisata di masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian menggunakan data sekunder dengan memanfaatkan data dari laporan tahunan perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia, Bursa Malaysia, dan Singapore Exchanges tahun 2020 dan 2021. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan purposive sampling yang terdiri dari 26 perusahaan di Indonesia, 13 perusahaan di Malaysia, dan 17 perusahaan di Singapura. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa financial distress dapat memengaruhi kecepatan publikasi laporan keuangan di perusahaan Malaysia, sedangkan pada negara Indonesia dan Singapura menunjukkan bahwa financial distress tidak memengaruhi kecepatan publikasi laporan keuangan. Kemudian, good corporate governance tidak memengaruhi kecepatan publikasi laporan keuangan pada perusahaan yang ada di negara Indonesia, Malaysia, dan Singapura
Kontribusi Instrumen Moneter Syariah dan Konvensional Terhadap Inflasi di Negara OKI
This study aims to determine the impact of Open Market Operation Sharia (OMOS), Open Market Operation Conventional (OMOC), and Interest Rates on inflation in OIC countries. This study employed a quantitative approach to the panel data technique. From 2012q2 to 2021q4, the sampled nations were Indonesia, Malaysia, Bahrain, and Pakistan. Using the Chow Test and the Hausman Test, the best models were chosen. The findings indicated that OMOS has a negative but insignificant impact on inflation. OMOC has a substantial negative impact on inflation. Consequently, interest rates have a substantial positive effect on inflation. This study can help central banks evaluate OMOS, OMOC, and interest rates to control inflation. Economic research on OMOS and inflation is limited. Researchers discovered that few previous studies discuss OMOS specifically. This study, therefore, seeks to fill in the gap
