Challenges and Responses of Japan’s Transport Business during the Period of Rapid Economic Growth
Get PDFThis paper focuses on Japan’s high-growth period, and examines the challenges faced by the transportation company as they diversified into the trucking business. The main business of the transportation company was to broker cargo for railroad transportation, but many of them also owned their own trucks and other means of transportation. As economic growth led to an increase in a variety of cargoes, including those related to the machinery industry, rail freight forwarding, which had specialized in materials-based cargoes, became difficult to use. In addition, freight rates remained low, and there were limits to the rationalization of cargo handling and pickup/delivery operations. The transportation company diversified into the trucking business, which was an adjacent field, and this led to the decline of Japan National Railways freight transportation.通巻第47号, 論文 / Article
Littlewood ノ conjecture オ メグッテ
Get PDF調和解析（フーリエ解析）の分野にLittlewood のconjecture と呼ばれる問題がある（あった）. この問題はDirichlet 核に関連したある種の三角多項式のL1-ノルムの大きさに関するもので, Hardy-Littlewood の論文(1948 年) にでたものである. P.J. Cohen が1960 年に部分的にpositive な結果をだしたあと, H. Davenport, E. Hewitt- H.S. Zuckerman, S.K. Pichoridesたちの結果を経て最終的に, 1981 年に, 3 人のアメリカの数学者O.G. McGehee - L. Pigno - B.Smith によって, 解決された. ここでは, このconjecture が解決されるに至った経過を説明したいと思う.尚, この原稿は, 2023 年7 月に行った講演内容を加筆修正したものである

The Potential for Sustainable Protection of Cultural Heritage Through Crowdfunding
Get PDF近年、クラウドファンディングを用いた文化遺産保護が地方自治体や文化遺産オーナーにより試みられている。本稿では、クラウドファンディングによる文化遺産保護研究の整理や実践例の検証を行った。その結果、クラウドファンディングは、資金集めだけでなく、文化遺産のファンコミュニティ醸成につながることが明らかとなった。寄付を通じた文化遺産の価値理解者や応援者を育むことは、資金循環に止まらない、持続的な文化遺産保護を実現させる可能性を秘めている。In recent years, crowdfunding-based cultural heritage protection has been attempted by local authorities and cultural heritage stakeholders. In this paper, research on cultural heritage protection through crowdfunding is introduced and practical examples are examined. The results show that crowdfunding not only raises funds, but also leads to the creation and fostering of fan-based cultural heritage communities. Cultivating supporters who understand the value of cultural heritage through donations has the potential to go beyond just the accumulation of funds and can achieve sustainable cultural heritage protection.研究報告 研究ノート / Research Not
