Combined use of deep learning and CAE simulation for design and optimization of pharmaceutical products
医薬品適用剤形として汎用される錠剤は,通例,粉体や顆粒の圧縮により製造されている。そのため錠剤内部には応力が残留し,このことが錠剤の重要品質特性(CQAs)に大きな影響を及ぼす。本研究では,モデル錠剤の硬度と崩壊時間をCQAsとし,Drucker-Prager capモデルを利用した有限要素法により残留応力を推算した。応力推定値を予測因子として深層学習とスパースモデリングを適用しCQAの予測を試みた。その結果,いずれのCQAsも高精度に予測され,予測に寄与する応力残留部位を同定することができた。残留応力の強弱は錠剤の処方に依存するが,その分布状態は錠剤形状にとよく影響されることが示唆された。Tablets are popular dosage forms for drug administration, and generally prepared by the compaction of pharmaceutical powders or granules so that various stresses can remain in the inside of tablets. The residual stresses may affect critical quality attributes (CQAs) of tablets, such as a hardness and a disintegration time. In this study, the residual stresses were estimated employing a finite element method incorporating a Drucker-Prager cap model. Hierarchical deep leaning models together with sparse models were applied to the remained stresses for predicting CQAs. As a result, CQAs were predicted with high accuracy as a function of remained stresses. Study on the decor of cancelli in the Early Middle Ages
キリスト教の典礼空間において内陣障壁(カンケッリ)は、信徒の空間と聖職者が儀式を行う空間を区別する役割を担っている。本研究は、初期中世の内陣障壁の残存例の現地調査をフランス南東部を中心に行い、作例の形態、材質、装飾、由来する聖堂の歴史などのデータ化、分類、分析を進めた。また、うろこ模様、格子模様、ロゼット模様、組みひも模様など、内陣障壁に特徴的な装飾についての広範囲の資料・文献収集を行い、分析研究を行った。During the Early Middle Ages, the chancel, which separated the priests and the faithful, was considered to be one of the main sanctuary decorations. This study focuses on remnant sculpted chancel fragments, particularly in the South of France and Italy. 段階で,現地政府と進出日本企業間で生じた問題に対応していることである。 組織整備を行い,日本企業が抱える問題の変化に対応してきたことである。従来,在外日本人経済団体は進出日本企業の団体として扱われてきた。これに対して,本研究はブラジルの場合には,移民者が団体活動に先鞭をつけ,進出日本企業がそれに参加する形で発展したことが特徴であることを明らかにしている。This study analyzes the role of CCIJB through its continuity of the pre-war and postwar activities.JCCIB maintains its continuity on three points; (1)Japanese government provides support to the formation and development of JCCIB, (2)JCCIB has solved the problems occurring between the Brazilian government and Japanese companies, (3)JCCIB has adjusted the problems Japanese companies facing at each Brazilian economic stage by reforming their organization structure. In the case of Brazil, Japanese immigrants contributed in forming JCCIB and later the Japanese companies joined and developed the organization, whereas Japanese companies formed and developed the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in other foreign countries.論

資家視点 の疑問にも答えられるエクイティ・ストーリーの具体的な構築法が,今後の課題としてあげられた(1)。Wasei-M&A, which is a type of M&A conducted by Japanese companies for acquiring foreign companies, has been growing in terms of transaction number and amount. Japanese corporations have strategically aimed at benefiting from higher-pace growth of global markets by initiating Wasei-M&A. But, public eyes including media do not appreciate it positively based on the miserable track records marked by some large-size acquisition deals. This paper reviews previous researches on eveluation of Wasei-M&A and re-visited case studies on major Japanese companies. The results are as follows. Firstly, performance of Wasei-M&A is better than the public views. Furthermore, there could be a number of successful Wasei-M&A if it takes advantage of the strength of the Japanese management. Secondly, business-oriented M&A evaluation method is more suitable for valuing Wasei-M&A than investor-oriented one. Next steps are identified as establishing the know-how of business-oriented M&A evaluation method and clarifying how to make up practical equity story for investors of companies.論

Controlled release of a model hydrophilic high molecular weight compound from injectable non-lamellar liquid crystal formulations containing different types of phospholipids
Skin offers an easily accessible and convenient site for the administration of drugs. Therefore, the development of injectable formulations with controlled drug release properties are now expected to deliver middle- and large-size biomolecules. In the present study, formulations mainly composed of a novel polyol ester with an isoprenoid side chain; mono-O-(5,9,13-trimethyl-4-tetradecenyl) glycerol ester (MGE), that was capable of forming a non-lamellar liquid crystal (NLLC), were prepared with different types of phospholipid. Then, factors that affected the release of a model entrapped drug, fluorescein-isothiocyanate dextran (FD-4, M.W. 4,000), from the MGE formulations were analyzed with multi-regression analysis. In addition, self-assembly of the NLLC structure was investigated using small-angle X-ray scattering analysis after contacting the MGE formulations with water. NLLC-forming ability of the formulations after s.c. injection into rats was also confirmed using microscopic observations. FD-4 concentrations in blood were determined after s.c. injection of the MGE formulations. The injectable MGE formulations successfully constructed NLLC structures to form a sponge-like gel after contact with water in vitro and in vivo (in rats) as well. In in vitro conditions, the amount of FD-4 released from the formulations was altered by changing the type and concentration of phospholipid in the MGE formulations and can be expressed with parameters such as MGE content and interplanar spacing of the NLLC. A significantly sustained FD-4 level in the blood was observed after s.c. injection of the formulations. These results suggested that injectable MGE formulations may have the potential to achieve controlled release profiles of drugs after s.c. injection.Article 11894
