KAJIAN MEKANIS PENGGUNAAN PENGHANTAR TERMAL ACCR PADA SUTET 500KV
Mechanical Study on using of ACCR Thermal Conductor at 500 kV SUTET. At the height of electricity demandincreasing recently, circumstance of environment more limited and also expense of high investment, making thermalconductor (conductor thermal resistance) considered to be one of alternative in the electricity transmission bottlenecks.These days it has been developed thermal conductor ACCR (Aluminium Conductor Composite Reinforced) which canoperate with temperature up to 240oC, so that making the current carrying capacity being higher than conventionalconductor. This research aimed to study load current leading to mechanical characteristic ACCR conductor includedtension, length of elongation and sag of conductor. Its expected to be good for develop in construction structure oftransmission line which is appropriate to ACCR conductor characteristic. Based on this research it can be concludedthat application of ACCR conductor improves transmission line capacities by 100 % on existing ROW and tower.Keywords: Mechanical performance, Transmission line, ACSR and ACCR
PEMBUATAN NANOPARTIKEL EMAS RADIOAKTIF DENGAN AKTIVASI NEUTRON
Preparation of Radioactive Gold Nanoparticle by Neutron Activation. It was reported that gold nanoparticle couldbe used for cancer therapy using thermal effect. It is possible to kill cancer cells using radiation of radioisotope. Studyon preparation of radioactive gold by neutron activation at central irradiation position (CIP) of G.A. Siwabessy reactorwith neutron flux 1.26 x 1014 neutron s-1cm-2 has been carried out. It was revealed that a radioisotop of gold (198Au) wasproduced by neutron activation from natural gold. Calculation results showed that 198Au with radioactivity of 0.366 Bq,2.93 Bq, 9.90 Bq and 23.4 Bq was produced for nanoparticle with diameter of 100, 200, 300 and 400 nm by neutronirradiation for 12 days. The saturation factor was 96.5%. After 10 days of decay, the radioactivity was 0.027 Bq, 0.223Bq, 0.753 Bq and 1.78 Bq in nanoparticle with diameter of 100, 200, 300 and 400 nm. The radionuclide impurities were108Ag, 110mAg, 64Cu, 66Cu, 205Pb and 209Pb with the total radioactivity was 4.31 x 10-5 % of the total radioactivity of 198Auat the end of irradiation.Keywords: gold, neutron activation, radioactive nanoparticl
SISTEM KENDALI KONGESTI DI INTERNET
Internet Congestion Control System. Internet congestion occurs when resource demands exceeds the network capacity. But, it is not the only reason. Congestion can happen on some users because some others user has higher sending rate. Then some users with lower sending rate will experience congestion. This partial congestion is caused by inexactly feedback. At this moment congestion are solved by the involvement of two controlling mechanisms. These mechanisms are flow/congestion control in the TCP source and Active Queue Management (AQM) in the router. AQM will provide feedback to the source a kind of indication for the occurrence of the congestion in the router, whereas the source will adapt the sending rate appropriate with the feedback. These mechanisms are not enough to solve internet congestion problem completely. Therefore, this paper will explain internet congestion causes, weakness, and congestion control technique that researchers have been developed. To describe congestion system mechanisms and responses, the system will be simulated by Matlab.Keywords: congestion control, flow control, router, AQ
