The Effect of Intrinsic Motivation and Competence on Employee Performance: Study at a Toll Road Development and Operator Company in Bandung
Full text linkThis study aims to ascertain how intrinsic motivation and skilfulness affect employee performance in one of Bandung's highway development and operation enterprises. Both descriptive and verificative research techniques are employed. A sample of 39 employees from one of the highway development and operation companies in Bandung were polled to gather data and information for the study.
It is clear from the research's path analysis findings that the intrinsic motivation variable has a favourable impact on employee performance. Employee performance is positively influenced by the competence variable. According to the conclusions and recommendations drawn from the research, management should preserve and enhance motivation and competence
A Bibliometric Analysis of Integrated Management System Research in The Electricity Business: Trends And Future Research

However, bibliometric analysis in this field is still underdeveloped, particularly in the electricity business. The purpose of this study is to identify current research trends and provide recommendations for future research through bibliometric analysis of IMS research in the electricity business. The research sample included 43 papers obtained from scientific papers published in the Scopus database. Following the research findings, this study contributes by proposing future research and research trends for IMS practices in the electricity business
Web-Based Coffee Inventory Application: Case Study on One Of The Coffee Shop In Sukabumi
Full text linkThis study aims to gain insights into the inventory requirements of a coffee shop, develop and deploy a web-based application to enhance inventory management efficiency and assess the effects of this implementation on the coffee shop's operational processes. The methodology employed encompasses a blend of qualitative and quantitative techniques for data collecting, encompassing interviews, observations, and system testing. These methods are utilized to develop a comprehensive comprehension of the current inventory system and evaluate the efficacy of the recently built web application.
The findings indicate that implementing the application resulted in a substantial enhancement in inventory management. This condition was achieved through the provision of real-time inventory tracking, a reduction in errors associated with manual recording, and an overall improvement in operational efficiency. The coffee shop workers responded positively to the product, highlighting its user-friendly nature and time-saving capabilities.
Nevertheless, the study posits that forthcoming research should contemplate integrating elements such as predictive analytics to enhance stock management capabilities and develop a mobile iteration to augment flexibility and user-friendliness. This study provides additional evidence to reinforce the importance of implementing digital transformations in small-scale enterprises to address prevalent operational obstacles

Full text linkTax avoidance is an act that is detrimental to the state and is often done by companies. For this reason, researchers want to find out more about the effect of leverage, profitability, and firm size on tax avoidance before and during the COVID-19 pandemic by studying literature on Property, Real Estate, and Building Construction sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. The method used is literature study and internet research with a sample of 19 companies. Determination of the sample using a purposive sampling technique that is tailored to the research objectives. The results of the study are that leverage has a significant effect on tax avoidance before the covid-19 pandemic and during the covid-19 pandemic, leverage does not affect tax avoidance. While profitability is known to have a significant influence both before and during the covid-19 pandemic, and on the firm size factor, this factor has a significant influence on tax avoidance before covid-19 takes place and has no effect during covid-19
PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS DAN LEVERAGE TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN PADA PT. CHITOSE INTERNASIONAL, TBK PERIODE TAHUN 2015-2019
Full text linkOne of the ways a company can increase capital is through debt or increasing the number of ownership by listing its shares on the capital market. Thus, this study verifies the effect of profitability and leverage on firm value in one of the companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The quantitative method uses to determine the magnitude of the effect of profitability and leverage on value during the 2015-2019 period. The results showed that profitability had a positive and significant effect, while leverage had a negative effect on firm value. However, simultaneously profitability and leverage have a significant effect on firm value. The study results indicate that it is necessary to increase sales and pay attention to the amount of debt and the risks caused. When the amount of debt exceeds their capital, investors will hesitate to remember the risks the company has.

MAKNA INOVASI DALAM PANDANGAN PENGURUS KOPERASI SE-BANDUNG RAYA PADA ERA REVOLUSI INDUSTRI 4.0
Full text linkTujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui bagaimana makna inovasi dalam pandangan pengurus koperasi se-Bandung Raya khususnya pada era revolusi industri 4.0. Hal ini muncul dari adanya persaingan yang semakin ketat dalam berinovasi baik regional, nasional, maupun internasional di era revolusi industri 4.0. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kualitatif jenis fenomenologi. Pengambilan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna inovasi dalam pandangan pengurus koperasi se-Bandung Raya khususnya pada era revolusi industri 4.0 ada tiga, yaitu : (1) inovasi dalam pandangan pengurus koperasi se-Bandung Raya sebagai meningkatkan produktivitas, (2) inovasi dalam pandangan pengurus koperasi se-Bandung Raya sebagai kebutuhan pelanggan, dan (3) inovasi dalam pandangan pengurus koperasi se-Bandung Raya sebagai cara dalam meningkatkan kinerja. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah inovasi pada era revolusi industri 4.0 bagi pengurus koperasi se-Bandung Raya merupakan keniscayaa dalam rangka mempertahankan eksistensi koperasi di era revolusi industri 4.0
Development of An Expert System for The Diagnosis of Kidney Disease Using the Certainty Factor Method
Full text linkKidney disease is a prevalent health issue affecting millions of people globally. Early and accurate diagnosis of kidney diseases can help in the timely and effective management of the condition. Expert systems, such as those using the Certainty Factor (CF) method, can provide doctors with valuable assistance in diagnosing kidney diseases more efficiently and accurately. This study aims to develop a kidney disease diagnosis expert system using the CF method. The developed system consists of data collection, data storage, and data processing components, with the CF method used to calculate diagnostic confidence levels and decision-making based on predetermined rules. The knowledge acquisition process was carried out by interviewing three nephrologists to obtain rules for diagnosing kidney diseases. The expert system's evaluation is conducted by comparing the system's diagnostic accuracy with a specialist doctors. The results show that the developed expert system has an accuracy rate of 85.7% in diagnosing kidney diseases. The system also has a user-friendly interface, which allows doctors to input symptoms and obtain a diagnosis quickly and accurately. The developed system has several advantages over traditional diagnosis methods. It can diagnose multiple kidney diseases simultaneously and provide a differential diagnosis, allowing doctors to choose the most appropriate treatment plan for their patients. The system also has the potential to reduce diagnostic errors and improve patient outcomes

No full textThe decline in sales of fashion products in one of the department stores in Cimahi City is the background of this research. So the authors want to know whether there is an influence of promotion and distribution channels on purchasing decisions on fashion products at one of the department stores in Cimahi City. Researchers surveyed customers who had made fashion products that became the object of study. The research method used is path analysis because this research, in addition to getting an overview of purchasing decisions associated with promotions and distribution channels, also gets an overview of the pattern of relationships and the influence of the research variables determined. The study results show a positive relationship between promotion (X1) and distribution channel (X2), which is 0.826. There is a positive and significant effect of promotion (X1) on purchasing decisions (Y) that is equal to 40.67%; there is a positive and significant influence of distribution channels (X2) on purchasing decisions (Y) of 32.53%. Therefore, there is a positive and significant influence of promotion (X1) and distribution channel (X2) on purchasing decisions (Y) together, which is 73.2% and the rest by other factors or also called epsilon by 26.8%. Full text linkThe share price is the share value that reflects the company's wealth that issued the shares. So that the greater the value of the stock price, the higher the value of the company. This study aims to prove the effect of Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Return On Equity (ROE) on stock prices. The research method used in this study is a descriptive verification method on Food and Beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2012-2015 period. To obtain data and information that will support this research, namely by collecting secondary data and testing the multiple regression hypothesis to determine the effect of NPM and ROE on stock prices. Based on the study results showing the results of multiple regression, the equation Y=-144618,665+5167,671 X+6846,367 X from the t-test results obtained tcount results 2,242 with a significant level of 0.05, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.042. From the value R square, it knows that the influence of NPM and ROE Financial Ratios affects stock prices of 0.695 or 69.5%, while the rest is the influence of other factors (variables) not examined. Therefore, the research results above can conclude that NPM and ROE significantly influence stock prices. The research implication suggested increasing the Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Return On Equity (ROE) of the company's stock price in the food and beverage sub-sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. National Characters: The Effect of Social Media on Youth in The Digital Era
Full text linkThis research aims to analyze social media's influence on forming Pancasila's character among adolescents in the digital era. The research utilizes a quantitative approach with a survey method and simple random sampling of 100 active social media users among teenagers in Tasikmalaya. The collected data is analyzed using linear regression. The research findings indicate a significant correlation between social media usage and forming of Pancasila characters among adolescents in the digital era. The more frequently teenagers use social media, the lower their Pancasila character tends to be.
Additionally, the type of social media users also has varying effects on forming Pancasila's character. Teenagers frequently use social media platforms focused on physical appearance and lifestyle and tend to have lower Pancasila characteristics. This research contributes to the development of theories regarding social media's influence on forming Pancasila's character among adolescents. The results can be a reference for parents and teachers in supervising teenagers' social media usage and cultivating a stronger Pancasila character
