    Comparison of Some Methods for the Elderly Patient Telemonitoring System

    This paper analyzes some research results related to patient telemonitoring system. The main objective is to collect many useful information for telemonitoring implementation and its development in the future. Telemonitoring system is focused on fall detection that generally occur prior to critical condition. There are 14 research results that discussed in this paper which have been published from 2013 to 2017. Those researches are grouped into three types i.e. intrusive, non-intrusive and mixed. Analysis is done on aspects of the comfort, complexity, cost, accuracy, and coverage. Furthermore, based on those information, a study of application feasibility is done for elderly patients in Indonesia. The result shows that the non-intrusive method using the camera or access point are the most appropriate system for the elderly fall detection

    A Three Area Interconnected Power System Network Load Frequency Controller Simulator

    This paper presents a MATLAB simulator of a three area interconnected power system of Thermal-Gas-Hydro. Nonlinearities intrinsic in the interconnected power system of communication delay, Generation Rate Constraint and Generation Dead Band were measured. Bat Inspired Algorithm was exploited to select the favourable parameters of the Model Predictive Controller and the Super Conducting Magnetic Energy Storage. Model Predictive Controller was the subordinate controller employed to minimalize the Area Control Error, Super Conducting Magnetic Energy Storage was the energy buffer to balance the load demand and the power generated. Integral Time Absolute Error was the performance metrics employed to minimize the Area Control Error. Parametric dissimilarity was tested on the inter-connected power system to observe the efficacy of the controller. Step load perturbation of  was concurrently applied to the three-area inter-connected network,  was introduced to the thermal generating unit,  was introduced to the gas and hydro generating unit.  Value of the tie-line was introduced to examine its effect on the frequency deviation. The results performed better when compared with Model Predictive Controller joined with Super Conducting Magnetic Energy Storage against the Model Predictive Controller without Super Conducting Magnetic Energy Storage in relations to settling time, overshoot and undershoot

    Fuzzy Logic Control Design in Hybrid Energy Storage System Super-Capacitor Battery for Electric Vehicle

    HESS is a suitable technology when applied to electric cars. One application is in SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) car. The use of Supercapacitors can reduce the excess of load on the battery. Uneven soil contours cause current spike and drop in battery voltage which can reduce battery lifetime. This journal presents a simulated study of HESS batteries and Supercapacitors in SUV cars. Fuzzy-based energy management strategies and threshold control are introduced. The simulation study shows the difference between the control using the number of climb data and not, and the Fuzzy control response to the demand load. The simulation results mention the reduction of the maximum current and the battery voltage drop according to the load. The total energy ratio used between the two controls is also presented

    Analysis Tunneling IPv4 and IPv6 on VoIP Network

    Using of IP addresses is currently still using IPv4. Meanwhile, the availability of the IPv4 address is gradually diminishes. IPv4 has a limited address capacity. IPv6 was developed with a capacity greater than IPv4. Connect between IPv4 and IPv6 without having to interfere with the existing infrastructure. So, methods like tunneling are needed. Tunneling builds a way that IPv4 and IPv6 can communicate. 6to4 tuning makes IPv6 able to communicate with IPv4 over IPv4 infrastructure. Real time communication is needed by internet users to be able to connect to each other. One of the real time communications is VoIP. To find out the quality of tunneling implemented on a VoIP network, it will analyze QoS such as delay, packet loss, and jitter. Delay obtained is 20,01ms for IPv4, 19,99ms for IPv6 and 20,03ms for 6to4. Packet loss obtained 0,01% for IPv4, IPv6 0,01% and 6to4 0,08%. The obtained jitter is 7,96ms for IPv4, IPv6 7.39ms, and 8,48 for 6to4. The test results show that using IPv6 gets a better QoS value than using IPv4 and 6to4 tunneling. The results using 6to4 tunneling obtained the highest QoS value between IPv4 and IPv6. Implementation using 6to4 tunneling results in high results because, IPv6 packets that are sent are wrapped into the IPv4 form to get through the IPv4 infrastructure.

    Extraction of Eye and Mouth Features for Drowsiness Face Detection Using Neural Network

    Facial feature extraction is the process of searching for features of facial components such as eyes, nose, mouth and other parts of human facial features. Facial feature extraction is essential for initializing processing techniques such as face tracking, facial expression recognition or face shape recognition. Among all facial features, eye area detection is important because of the detection and localization of the eye. The location of all other facial features can be identified. This study describes automated algorithms for feature extraction of eyes and mouth. The data takes form of video, then converted into a sequence of images through frame extraction process. From the sequence of images, feature extraction is based on the morphology of the eyes and mouth using Neural Network Backpropagation method. After feature extraction of the eye and mouth is completed, the result of the feature extraction will later be used to detect a person’s drowsiness, being useful for other research

    Solar energy is energy which can be harnessed conveniently and free. However, its conversion result may not be easily obtained. Based on the previous research, solar power plant is a source of renewable energy, utilizing solar energy. Solar power plant converts solar energy into electricity using Photovoltaic (PV) or solar cells. Even though solar power plant is considered as better energy alternative, it presents problems and weaknesses. In this case, the problems are related to insufficient power generation with low power efficiency, high oscillation and very slow power tracking. Hence, in order to solve these problems, Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) has been utilized. Combination method of P&O-fuzzy and IC-fuzzy is employed to its design. Moreover, combined algorithm may result better power from conventional algorithm due to appropriate performance of duty cycle according to system design, with efficiency result of 79%-85.6%, tracking in searching output power of 0,0055s - 0,008s, low oscillation and maximum power generated by combined algorithm of 1028 watt

    Implementation of Google's Technology in Android Mobile App "Kediri City Fasum and Fasos Information System"

    There are so many public facilities (FasUm) and social facilities (FaSos) spreading all over the city. So that, many people do not know how to find and reach the location. Therefore, a mobile application becomes necessary to help solving problems in introducing and informing the location of those important facilities; thus, discovering and locating them can be simplified. This study aims to develop an android application providing information of public and social facilities. The application was built utilizing Google’s features consisting of Google Sign In, Google Places API, Google Custom Search Engine, and Google Map. The application was developed in several steps; requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The application provides information, routes, related news, and location markers of public and social facilities from the app contributor and Google Services. The developed application has been compared with Google Map application. The result shows that it provides some features which are better than the existing app.

    Konsep Object Oriented Programming (OOP) merupakan pemrograman yang dibangun dengan berpusat pada beberapa objek. Dengan konsep OOP dapat dilakukan pengukuran kualitas perangkat lunak dengan melalui kemungkinan hubungan antar beberapa objek atau kopling. Perangkat lunak yang baik adalah perangkat lunak yang memiliki desain yang baik, salah satu ciri-cirinya adalah memiliki nilai kopling yang rendah. Nilai kopling yang tinggi dapat menyebabkan desain perangkat lunak yang semakin kompleks dan buruk, sehingga akan mengakibatkan sulit untuk dipahami, terutama saat maintenance. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas perangkat lunak perlu mengontrol nilai kopling agar dapat meminimalkan kompleksitas perangkat lunak. Namun perhitungan nilai kopling secara manual pada jumlah perangkat lunak yang banyak akan membutuhkan waktu dan sumber daya yang besar. Oleh karena itu dibuatlah kakas bantu perhitungan nilai kopling menggunakan metrik Cognitive Weighted Coupling Between Object (CWCBO). Metrik CWCBO merupakan metrik kopling yang didasarkan pada bobot pemahaman untuk menghitung perbedaan jenis kopling dari berbagai peneliti. Kakas bantu tersebut dibangun dengan bahasa pemrograman utama Java, library Spoon untuk menganalisis source code, dan library JFreeChart untuk menampilkan grafik. Dari hasil pengujian akurasi sistem pada 5 program inputan berbahasa Java didapatkan akurasi sebesar 100%. Pengujian akurasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan perhitungan secara manual dan dengan sistem
