Emotion Sound Classification with Support Vector Machine Algorithm
Speech one of the biometric characteristic owned by human being, as well as fingerprint, DNA, retina of the eyes and so not the two human beings who have the same voice. Human emotion is a matter that can only be predicted through the face of a person, or from the change of facial expression but it turns out human emotions can also be detected through the spoken voice. Someone emotion are happy, angry, neutral, sad, and surprise can be detected through speech signal. The development of voice recognition system is still running at this moment. So that ini this research, the analysis of someone emotion through speech signal. Some related research about the sound aims to have process of identity recognition gender recognition, Emotion recognition based on conversation. In this research the writer does research on the emotional classification of speech two classes started from happy, angry, neutral, sad and surprise while the used algorithm in this research is SVM (Support Vector Machine) with alghoritmMFCC (Mel-frequency cepstral coefficient)for extraction where it contains filter process that adapted to human’s listening. The result of the implementation process of both algorithms gives accuracy level ashappy=68.54%, angry=75.24%, neutral=78.50%, sad=74.22% and surprise=68.23%
Comparative Analysis of Tracking Objects Using Optical Flow and Background Estimation on Silent Camera
Tracking and object is one of the utilizations on the field of the computer vision application. Object tracking utilization as a computer vision in this study is used to identify objects which exist within a frame and calculate the number of objects passing within a frame. The utilization of computer vision in various fields of application can be used to solve the existing problems. The method used in object tracking is by comparison between optical flow estimation method with background method. The test is conducted by using a still camera for both methods by making changes to the parameter values used as a reference. The results of the tests, conducted on the three video objects by comparing the two methods show a Total Recorded Time better than those of the background estimation method, being smaller than 100 seconds. Testing both methods successfully identifies the object tracking and calculates the number of passing cars
An Election Energy Threshold Based Multi-Hop Routing Protocol in a Grid-Clustered Wireless Sensor Network
Owing to the limited energy of sensor nodes (SNs) in a wireless sensor network (WSN), it is important to reduce and balance the energy consumption of the SNs in order to extend the WSN lifetime. Clustering mechanism is a highly efficient and effective mechanism for minimizing the amount of energy that SNs consume during the transmission of data packets. In this paper, an election energy threshold based multi-hop routing protocol (mEEMRP) is presented. In order to minimize energy consumption, this routing protocol uses grid clustering, where the network field is divided into grid clusters. SNs in each grid cluster select a cluster head (CH) based on a weight factor that takes the node location, node’s residual energy (RE) as well as the node’s distance from the base station into consideration. An energy efficient multi-hop routing algorithm is adopted during the transmission of data packets from the cluster heads (CHs) to the base station (BS). This multi-hop routing algorithm uses an election energy threshold value, TnhCH that takes into consideration the RE of CHs as well as the distance between CHs. Simulation results show a 1.77% and 10.65% improvement in terms of network lifetime for two network field scenarios over Energy Efficient Multi-hop Routing Protocol (EEMRP)
Development of Android-Based Software to Support The Selection of University Majors that Fits with Student Personality Type
Selecting study program is important things that must decide for high school student in Indonesia. However, students often have difficulties to explore the field of study which match with him. Technology can be used as a tool for making a decision, for example by using android application. Android platform has advantages because it is easy to accessible and familiar in teenagers in Indonesia. In this research, an application was developed by Rational Unified Process methodology. The selection of study program is done with knowing personality type. There are 6 criteria in defining personality type with RIASEC method: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, Conventional. Personality type can be known after user filled the questionnaire in an application. Next, an application can display study program that matches the type of user personality. From evaluation and analysis, the result showed that application is easy to use. It is expected that this application can be a simulated application which provides information and solutions in advance to selecting study program in universities
IT Governance Audit with COBIT 5 Framework on DSS Domain
Information technology in organizations plays an important role for the continuity of their current business processes. Almost every organization already has information technology and dependence on their information technology. With the existence of information technology, it can help business process in the organization runs smoothly, and according to desired by every organization. But not infrequently the information technology that has been operating has problems that are very annoying and hinder the business process of the organization. Problems that exist in this company is at the time of maintenance and custom or repair process undertaken by the company. With the existence of the problem, the writer wanted to audit the existing governance in companies that have problems regarding aspects of information technology delivery. The author uses the COBIT 5 framework on the DSS domain (Deliver, Service, and Support) and focuses on the sub domains of DSS01 Manage Operations, DSS02 Manage Service Requests and Incidents, DSS03 Manage Problems, and DSS06 Manage Business Process Controls. The assessment method used is a capability model consisting of five capability levels. Based on the audit of information technology governance conducted by researchers using COBIT 5, then the conclusion of this study is the average capability level of the overall process obtained most of the process has reached level 1 performed process
Research Management in Virtual Organization between Higher Education and Industry for Developing Lecture’s Knowledge
Lecturers adapt to technology rises because the industries have improved business practices and implemented process changes to become more sustainable. The technological innovations can be generated by research projects that can yield useful innovations in industry. Lecture’s research in higher education becomes a fundamental need that must be managed sustainability. The policy and strategy in research between higher education and industry will enhance the quality and sustainability of higher education. The concept of research management in virtual organization adopted from a triangular model that related to higher education, industry, and government. The relationship can serve as a model that can adapt technology in industries and develope lecture’s knowledge. The research management in virtual organization used in this research is employing direct observation for problem identification and assigning the Internet service requirement and the availability of hardware and software resources. Developing lecture’s knowledge by considering polytechnic’s lecture becomes the main objective. The implementation of research management in virtual organization allows (1) industry’publish project themes, (2) lecturers can download the project themes as idea, and (3) lecturers submit proposal documents. The data survey are processed with the correlation, scale reliability, and validity analysis by using SPSS 16.0. Based on data survey result, the all indicators of lectiure’s knowledge development have positive values and significant correlations
Conventional Software Testing Using White Box Method
Software development process highly relates to analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation processes. Testing process becomes imperative process to maintain a quality product running well. Testing process can be conducted both for structural and object-oriented software. However, the method utilized for structural and object-oriented software is significantly different. Testing structural program can utilize White Box, Black Box, or Gray testing methods. This study White Box Testing has been employed to test a simple application. The testing process using White Box Testing employs some testing techniques based on path testing consisting of some processes, namely testing independent path, developing flow graph, calculating cyclomatic complexity, and developing graph matrices. Sensor Fusion Accelerometer dan Gyroscope untuk Pengukuran Perubahan Kinematik Pergelangan Kaki
Sensor fusion merupakan metode penggabungan dua jenis sensor yang berbeda dimana memiliki karaktersitik yang hampir sama untuk mendapatkan suatu fungsi baru. Salah satu fungsi dari sensor fusi adalah mendapatkan perbandingan antara dua sensor yang digabungkan. Penelitian tentang perubahan kinematik telah jamak dilakukan, hal ini dikarenakan dengan melihat perubahan kinematik manusia dapat menentukan pola pergerakan, klasifikasi, hingga proses rehabilitasi medis. Seluruh anggota tubuh yang terhubungkan oleh sendi dan bergerak dapat diukur nilai kinematiknya. Penelitian ditujukan pada pergelangan kaki untuk mengetahui langkah serta pergerakan naik turunnya pergelangan kaki, hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan mampu mendukung penelitian lanjutan untuk membantu proses rehabilitasi medis pada pasien yang mengalami cidera pergelangan kaki. Penelitian yang dilakukan pada empat orang yang berbeda melakukan aktivitas lari, jalan lambat, jalan ditempat, dan jalan cepat didapatkan perbedaan rata-rata dari kedua sensor yang dihasilkan oleh gyro x dan acc x adalah 10,27%, gyro y dan acc y adalah -25,39%, gyro z dan acc z adalah -10,33%. Dari kedua sensor tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa accelerometer dan gyroscope dapat digunakan untuk mengukur besarnya perubahan kinematik
Analysis of Uapush Malware Infection using Static and Behavior Method on Android
This research combines static and behavior analysis to detect malwares on Android system. The analysis process was completed by implementing analysis process on a malware-infected application running on an Android device. The analysis process was implemented based on specific stages, started from implementing behavior analysis on a malware-infected application running on Android device. Moreover, this behavior analysis ran the application on an Android emulator; afterwards, the file processing running on Android would be analyzed using the tool designed on this research to determine whether or not the executed application has been infected by malware. By utilizing behavior analysis, this research aimed to construct LiME kernel module being able to be executed on Android to collect data running on Android memory. This collected data would be analyzed further using volatility as data scanning. The second analysis utilized static analysis by checking the application on android system before running. During the static analysis, the application extraction was executed to generate some files to be analyzed to verify malware infection
Total Harmonic Distortion Comparison between Sinusoidal PWM Inverter and Multilevel Inverter in Solar Panel
This research compared the performance of PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) inverter and multilevel inverter in terms of their output voltage and current total harmonic distortion (THD). The inverters were designed to have the output voltage of 220 V at 50 Hz. The input voltage for both inverters are 400 VDC. For PWM inverter, the PWM technique utilized was sinusoidal PWM (SPWM) and for multilevel converter, the number of voltage level is five with diode-clamped topology. The study included circuit implementation, analysis, and THD calculation, all of which were carried out through simulation using PSpice software. In controlling the SPWM inverter output, the adjusted parameters included amplitude modulation ratio, frequency modulation ratio, and filter components’ parameters. On the other hand, the firing angles of the switching components were designated as controlling parameters in multilevel inverter. From the study, it was found that the best THD values of the designed SPWM inverter are 4.2% (voltage) and 1.7% (current), while those of multilevel inverter are 27% and 11%, for voltage and current, respectively. Thus, it can be concluded that SPWM inverter is better than 5-level inverter for the application in solar panel due to its lower THD. In our study, 5-level inverter did not satisfy the THD requirement specified in IEEE 512-1992, i.e. 5%
