Rangkong (Famili Bucerotidae) often known as allo bird by people is ripe fruit specialit. There is about 69% of its food containing Ficus fruit in breeding season. Association rafers to dependant of one type to another either animal or plant from the low to the high. This reserch aims to find out rangkong association of sulawesi (famili bucerotidae) with tree types of preservation forest area in ensa village. The data were collected through primary and secondary data. The presence of each species will be noted on amount of plot and then it will be put into  contingence table 2 x 2. The result can be proved by using table X2 . the result depends on the plot size because the data comes from the presence frequency. To fine out the is association or not between two types, comparison of Chi-square {X2 counted} with X2 table on degree of freedom = 1.Based on the result by making 25 plots of observation, rangkong was found on 14 observation plots and the analysis result of rangkong species of sulawesi (Rhyticeros cassidix) with tree types on the preservation forest is 15 trees and indicating positive relationship or associate with 3 tree types of association value X2 counted namely beringin (11.9141), nantu (4.3388) and malapoga (4.956995). Few studies have explicitly determine classification on bird community in nature reserve areas in Central Sulawesi. Here in, we reported upon the results of bird community classification, species composition and similarity index in Tinombala Nature Reserve area, Mepanga district, Parigi Moutong, Central Sulawesi. The study was conducted on may through june 2013.The birds composition was recorded by using Index Point of Abundance (IPA-count) method. Studies were conducted in four bird habitat types, i.e; along river (watershed area) ± 822m above sea level(LS: 00º 35' 38,1"- BT: 120º 40' 22,3"), garden ± 785m (LS: 00º 35' 2,1"- BT: 120º 41' 32,8"), secondary forest ± 1045m (LS: 00º 35' 14,1 "- BT: 120º 40' 24,4"), and primary forest ± 1104m dpl (LS: 00 º 37’ 51,0" - BT: 120º 40' 4,5"). The result showed that the bird species found at four habitat types were as many as 23 families with 41 species of birds and total number of bird was 210 individual bird. Close bird habitat classification was founded between habitat watershed area and primary forest with value 14,24. The highest similarity index was achieved by Mullerpicus fulvus, Macropygia amboinensis, Hypothimis azurea, Oriolus chinensis, and Dicaeum celebicum. Leda (Eucalyptus deglupta) is one kind of endemic flora of Celebes that its natural spread area side on Lore Lindu National Park (LLNP). The aim of this research was pointed to investigate the physiccally charracteristic of Leda habitat. The usage of this research is hoped to enrich scientific information in order to improve understanding about charracteristic of Leda habitat. This research was conducted in highing track of Nokilalaki Mount – LLNP territory, Nokilalaki District – Sigi Regency, as long as two months (October up to December 2013) used survay methode and laboratory analysis, by the placement of 7 (seven) sampling plots used purposive sampling methode at the location where be found habitat of Leda based on the high from sea level. Getting of soil samples used soil sample rings, than be analyzed on soil textures, permeabilities, bulk densities, and soil porousities. This research results shown that the charracteristic of Leda habitat in highing track of  Nokilalaki Mount be located on (1110-1206) meters from sea level high, with land slope (8-15)% (enough obliquity), the temperature on morning time (19-20)°C and afternoon time (19-23)°C, the air moisture on morning time (81-90)% and afternoon time (76-91)%, intensity of sun shine (80-400) lux. Physiccally charracteristic of soil texture are clay-clayey-sandy, clay-sandy, clayey-sandy, and clayey. Soil permeabilities (15.05-47.61) cm/hour (Fast andVery Fast catagories). Bulk density (0.91-1.27) g/cm3 (Fair and High catagories) and porousity (51.92-65.61)%. Kata Kunci : habitat, Leda, Lore-Lindu, Nokilalaki, physiccally-charracters

The purpose of this research is to determine the association of julang sulawesi birds (Rhyticeros cassidix) with ebony tree (Diospyros celebica Bakh) in the area of Pangi Binangga Nature Reserve, Moutong Parigi District. This research was conducted in three months starting from May to July 2013. This research uses the transect method that is make make 20x20 meter plots for 20 plots and placed parallel along side the 500-meter transect. The research was conducted at the time where ebony trees are not in fruiting season, there is interaction in which the julang sulawesi birds utilize ebony tree as a resting place on the analysis using of chi-square X2 however it was found that julang sulawesi birds (Rhyticeros cassidix) and ebony tree (Diospyros celebica Bakh) are not associated. Keywords : Association, julang sulawesi bird (Rhyticeros cassidix), trees ebony (Diospyros celebica Bakh
