    Kecenderungan Remaja menjadi Pelaku Perundungan-Siber: Kontribusi Harga Diri dan Kesepian

    This study aimed to empirically test the tendency to be cyber-bullies in adolescents predicted by self-esteem and loneliness. The method used in this study is quantitative method. Research participants were adolescents with an age between 12 – 17 years, using communication devices connected to the internet and claimed to have mocked or insulted other through social network sites. There were 646 participants involved in this study. The data collection in this study used two methods, that were the list of content and scales. The scale used were the scale of tendency of being a cyber-bullies, adolecents self-esteem scale and adolescents loneliness scale. The reseach instrument was analyzed with content validity and realibility of Cronbach alpha ( =0,88, =0,90 =0,88). Data analysis used multiple regression analysis technique. The results showed that self-esteem and loneliness significantly can predicted the tendency of being a cyber-bullies in adolescents. The tendency to be a cyber-bullies was predicted by self-esteem and loneliness of 3.3%

    Peran Dukungan Sosial Orang Tua terhadap Prestasi Akademis melalui Mediasi Motivasi Belajar Intrinsik

    This research aimed to empirically examine the effect of parents’ social support on academic achievement through the mediation of intrinsic motivation to learn. It was hypothesized that parents’ social support positively affect academic achievement through the mediation of intrinsic motivation to learn. Researcher adapted Gordon’s Parent Subscale Social Support Questionnaire for Children Rahmi’s Parental Support Scale and Rahmi’s Intrinsic Motivation to Learn Subscale along with weighted summative asessment tests to measure academic achievement. Participants were 84 students of grade 8 from three different junior high schools in Yogyakarta. Path analysis was used to investigate the hyphotesis. Results indicated that parents’ social support was a significant predictor of intrinsic motivation to learn, b = 0.55, (p 0.05), consistent with full mediation

    Keterlibatan Pengasuhan Orang tua Laki-Laki dan Efikasi Menjadi Ayah yang Empatik

    The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between a father’s involvement and his efficacy to an empathic father. Efficacy to an empathic father was measured using fathering efficacy scale developed by the researcher. Father’s involvement was measured using the Inventory of Father Involvement which modified by a researcher with alpha coefficient 0.992. The subject of this study were 80 fathers of the first children at the elementary age. The data were analyzed using product-moment correlation. The analysis showed a correlation coefficient of 0.442 (p<0.01). That means there was a significant relationship between efficacy on an empathic father and his father’s involvement. Father’s involvement explained 19.5 % of the variance in efficacy on an empathic father. The study showed that father involvement increased efficacy to be an empathic father

    Peran Interaksi Guru-Siswa dan Gaya Belajar Siswa terhadap Disposisi Berpikir Kritis dalam Pembelajaran Fisika

    This study aimed to empirically determine the role of teacher-student interaction and students’ learning styles in students’ disposition toward critical thinking in physics subject. Research participants were high school students of grade XI majoring in natural science. Sampling in this study was done using convenience sampling with sample size of 67 students (25 males and 42 females). Data collection method used in this study was survey using Disposition toward Critical Thinking in Physics Subject Scale, Teacher-student Interaction in Physics Subject Scale, and Learning Styles in Physics Subject Scale. Analysis of covariance with one covariate showed 1) there was a correlation between teacher-student interaction and students’ disposition toward critical thinking in physics subject (F = 37.199; ƞ2p = 0.375; p < 0.01) and 2) there was difference of disposition toward critical thinking in physics subjects between student with diverging, assimilating, accommodating, and converging learning styles (F = 6.870; ƞ2p = 0.249; p < 0.01). Post-hoc test was also done to further analyze the data. The findings are going to help improving quality of learning especially in the subject being studied by fostering wholesome teacher-student interaction and accommodating students’ learning styles

    Peran Wisdom terhadap Life Satisfaction pada Lansia

    Life-satisfaction is an important thing for the elderly. Elderly with all its problems such as a decrease in physical, psychological, and social conditions can feel a decrease in life satisfaction. The decrease in life satisfaction may be avoided if the elderly have a high level of wisdom. This study aimed to see the contribution of wisdom to the life-satisfaction of elderly people. The research subjects were 65 elderly people aged 60 years and over in Yogyakarta. Data retrieval was done using the adaptation of 3D-WS Ardelt (2003) scale to measure wisdom and the translation of Life Satisfaction Index Z Neugarten scale (1961) to measure life satisfaction levels. Research data were analyzed using regression analysis. The analysis found that the affective dimension of wisdom was a significant predictor of life satisfaction in the elderly (b = 0.540; p = 0.003)

    Peran Ketidakpuasan Kerja terhadap Intensi Turnover Karyawan dengan Stabilitas Anchor sebagai Moderator

    This study was designed to measure how big the role of job dissatisfaction (job dissatisfaction) to the employee's desire to leave his work (turnover intention) with moderated by the stability of anchors. The method used in this present study is a quantitative method by distributing questionnaire. The questionnaire consists of job dissatisfaction scale, turnover intention scale, and anchor scale to discover anchor stability. Subjects of the study are 267 permanent employees who work in the banking sector. The results of the study indicate that anchor stabilization is not evidenced to influence the relationship between job dissatisfaction and turnover intention. However, anchors such as materials, others and virtues are believed to influence the relationship between job dissatisfaction and employees' turnover intention. The factor of job dissatisfaction which most influences turnover intention in this study is employee dissatisfaction with salary or rewards

    This study aimed to determine whether there is any correlation between emotional intelligence and the quality of friendship relations in adolescence. The initial presumption put forward in this study is there is a positive correlation between emotional intelligence and the quality of friendship relations in adolescence. This study took 162 high school students aged 15-17 years. Two scales used in this study are the Emotional Intelligence Scale and Friendship Relations Quality. Data analysis method used in this study is Pearson product moment correlation analysis using computer program SPSS. The result indicate r = 0,532 and p = 0.000 or p < 0.01. This result shows that the initial presumption of this study is accepted, which means there is a positive correlation between emotional intelligence and the quality of friendship relations in adolescents with social skills as the most influential aspect to the quality of friendship relations

    Widowhood is a major problem for women. This research intends to analyze phenomenologically the young widow is left behind in the perspective of Ki Ageng Suryomentaram. The aim of this study; First, deeply analyze the young widows left dead on mulur-mungkret according to Ki Ageng Suryomentaram perspective. Second, to analyze in-depth tatag young widow left behind according to perspective Ki Ageng Suryomentaram. Criteria of the subject, first, women who became widows and have aged 30-45 years. Second, the subject is a widow under 6 months. The results showed that, firstly, the self-regulation the developed subject is still largely on the mind and body. Both are done with the thought that his life improved, and followed by adding skills to support the independence of his life. The three subjects have not arrived at Olah raos to place the problem more clearly and clearly. The three subjects have not really sumeleh (sincere). The steps are taken to reduce reribet limited to out of problems, not yet to understand their self

    Mediator Motivasi Belajar Intrinsik terhadap Prestasi Belajar Statistika

    This research aimed to examine cognitive learning as a mediator of the relationship between intrinsic learning motivation and statistics learning achievement. The data were collected through the motivation scale of intrinsic learning and cognitive learning strategy. Statistics learning achievement was measured through the grades of mid-semester exam and final exam. The subjects in this research were 208 undergraduate students who took a statistics class.  Multiple regression analysis through mediation model indicated that cognitive learning strategy was a partial mediator for the motivational role of intrinsic learning on statistics learning achievement (p<0.05). However, among four forms of cognitive learning strategy, only rehearsal and organizational learning strategies were capable of predicting statistics learning (p<0.05)

    Hubungan Stres dan Kesejahteraan (Well-being) dengan Moderasi Kebersyukuran

    This study aimed to determine the correlation of stress and well-being with gratitude moderation in early adults in Aceh. The method of this research was carried out using a quantitative approach. This study involved 349 early adults (264 female, 85 male) with age range of 20-40 years (M = 22.20) selected through the nonprobability sampling method with incidental sampling techniques. Individual’s stress levels were measured using the Perceived Stress Scale, well-being was measured using the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale, and gratitude was measured using the Skala Bersyukur Indonesia. Data were analyzed using moderated regression analysis to test the research hypothesis. The results showed that stress had a significant negative relationship to well-being (β1 = -0.788; p < 0.05), then gratitude was able to moderate the relationship of stress and well-being (β3 = 3.257; p < 0.05). This study showed that there was a correlation between stress and well-being with gratitude moderation. It meant that grateful people focus on things that are grateful for every day, so that the impact on low stress levels and can improve individual well-being
