Basic survey for making the sediment disaster hazard map of the Kumano Pilgrimage Routes “Ise-ji”
Get PDFIn this study, sediment disaster risks are analyzed by GIS, overlaying the route of the Kumano Pilgrimage Route "Ise Road", the location of landslide hazard zones, and evacuation centers. Since past landslide disasters have occurred in non-hazard areas, it was considered that there were other risks of sediment disasters besides the landslide hazard area data used in the survey. The Forestry Agency conducts surveys of mountain landslide hazard areas, and since the scope of these surveys includes both state-owned and privately-owned forests. It is considered that is useful for determine the landslide hazard potential of mountain areas. Landslide hazard areas are designated in several ways, depending on the type of phenomenon and differences in laws and regulations, so there is a lot of overlap areas. It is difficult for tourists without expertise in landslide hazards, including foreigners, to instantly understand the difference of such landslide hazard areas. To carefully explain to tourists how to read the hazard map is needed. In the future, It is also important to establish temporary evacuation sites on mountain passes where there are no evacuation sites in the vicinity, and safe places where evacuation is possible in the event of a disaster.departmental bulletin pape
Influence of Person Trip on the Theft Crime Occurring Point
Get PDFIn recent years, as crime has become decrease, but heinous crime rate has increased in Japan. Therefore, public awareness toward crime has been increasing. The number of reported criminal law offenses was about 600,000 in 2022, this is an increase from number of cases in 2021, which was the lowest since the end of World War II. There are also reports that an increasing number of people are feeling that security is deteriorating. In order to reduce crime, we have to take more efficient measures to crime. Especially, the reported criminal law offenses have a high percentage of theft crime. Therefore, we have to more enhance measure of theft crime prevention. The authors have clarified that the relationship between theft crime occurring point and person trip. However, we have to clarify the relationship in more detail. The Behaviors of Heat Flux Curves of sobagara biocokes materials
Get PDFAlmost all solid state materials are deteriorated by several factors such as oxygen, heat, water, light, radiation and so on. These deteriorations will cause the unexpected disasters. Therefore, it is important that reaction rates and heats of deterioration for solid state materials are investigated. Recently, biocoke is investigated as an effective fuel. Biocoke has some excellent features of high density, high strength, no water absorption and no fermentation. However, heat behaviors of biocoke which is storage under the several environments are not known well. In this report, some heat flux curves of deteriorations of sobagara biocokes were measured by using micro-calorimeter (TAM II). Then, the heat behavior were estimated by some results.
