The Evolution of the EU’s Trade Policy and FTA Strategy
Get PDF【概要】EUが2006年に打ち出した「グローバル・ヨーロッパ」戦略は, 多国間交渉の停滞や新興国の台頭に対応し, EU通商政策をFTA重視へと転換させた。この戦略の一環として締結されたEU韓国FTAは, 関税撤廃, 非関税障壁の緩和, 知的財産権の保護強化, サービス貿易の促進を通じて両国間の経済関係を一層深化させた。この協定により, EUでは経済回復が加速し, 韓国においては輸出市場の多角化が進展した。本稿では, EU通商政策の背景とその進展を概観し, EU韓国FTAの経済的影響と対外経済戦略における意義を論じる。The "Global Europe" strategy, introduced in 2006, marked a shift in EU trade policy toward emphasizing FTAs in response to the stagnation of multilateral negotiations and the rise of emerging economies. A representative example is the EU-Korea FTA, which deepened economic relations between the two parties through tariff elimination, the reduction of non-tariff barriers, strengthened intellectual property rights, and the promotion of trade in services. As a result, the EU experienced accelerated economic recovery, while Korea achieved diversification of its export markets. This paper analyzes the background and progress of EU trade policy and examines the economic impact of the EU-Korea FTA, as well as its significance within the EU's external economic strategy.departmental bulletin pape

External Human Resource Succession and Socio-emotional Wealth in Family Company ─ A Case Study of MUKAISHIMA DOCK YARD CO., LTD. ─
Get PDF【概要】本研究は, 広島県尾道市の向島ドックを事例として, 後継社長への外部人材の登用過程を考察する。このことで, 企業における承継とその持続可能性において, 単に財務的利益の側面だけではなく, 非財務的利益の視点が有用であることを導出する。これまで所有と経営の分離を前提として戦略論ほかで企業の持続可能性などの議論が深化されてきたが, 企業の大部分は, 所有と経営の一致したファミリー企業である。この現状をふまえて, ファミリー企業の議論で深められてきた社会情緒資産(SEW)の理論を援用し, 承継過程を事例によって検討することによって, これまでの議論の拡張に貢献できるものと考える。This paper examines the process of appointing an outsider as successor president, using Mukaishima Dock in Onomichi, Hiroshima Prefecture, as a case study. It derives the usefulness of a non-financial profit perspective, rather than just the financial profit aspect, in corporate succession and sustainability. So far, discussions on corporate sustainability have been deepened in strategic theory and other fields based on the separation of ownership and management, but the majority of companies are family companies where ownership and management are aligned. In light of this situation, this paper aims to contribute to broadening the discussion on corporate sustainability by examining the succession process in this case study using the theory of Socio-emotional Wealth (SEW), which has been deepened in the discussion of family companies.departmental bulletin pape
An Empirical Analysis of the Effect of Customer Support in Regional Banking Services: A Case Study of Matsumoto Shinkin Bank
Get PDF【要旨】我が国の地域金融行政は長きに渡り, 地域金融機関における金融仲介機能の強化を図る政策を推し進めてきた。人口減少などの厳しい経営環境下において, 我が国の地域金融機関は従来のビジネスモデルを変革し, 地域との持続可能な共栄関係の構築を要請されている。しかし, 地域金融における仲介機能の強化をどのように実践し, 顧客との共通価値を創造していくのかについて, 具体的な方法の提示ならびにその効果を検証した研究は筆者が知る限り存在していない。本稿では, 松本信用金庫の事例をもとに, コミュニティ情報を活用した顧客支援の効果について, マッチング手法を用いた検証を実施した結果, 概ね支援後に企業のパフォーマンスが改善されることが明らかとなった。地域に根付いた支援は地域経済の活性化に寄与すると考えられ, 本稿の分析結果は, 地域の共生共栄を可能にする持続可能な地域金融機関の戦略の存在を示唆している。本稿の分析は, 従来の研究に不足していた地域金融の実践的手法の検証に貢献するものである。The regional financial administration in Japan has long promoted policies aimed at enhancing the financial intermediation function of regional financial institutions. Under the challenging business environment, including a declining population, these institutions are required to transform their traditional business models and establish a sustainable and mutually beneficial relationship with the local community. However, to the best of our knowledge, there are no existing studies that specifically present concrete methods for strengthening financial intermediation in regional finance and empirically examine how such methods contribute to co-creating value with customers. In this study, we empirically investigate the impact of customer support utilizing community information, using the case of Matsumoto Shinkin Bank. Using a matching methodology, the result shows that business performance improved after receiving support. Community-based financial assistance contributes to revitalizing the regional economy and embodies a sustainable strategy for regional financial institutions that facilitates mutual prosperity.departmental bulletin pape
Preparation of Briquette from Waste Filtration Sludge Using Carbonation Hardening Method
Get PDFThe briquette was prepared by the carbonation hardening method using waste filter aid and lime as raw materials. Carbonation of the briquette was completed in 6 to 12 hours, and the compressive strength of the briquette reached 25 MPa after 120 hours. The strength was increased not only by carbonation of lime, but also by crystallization of carbonated lime into calcite. The carbonation of the lime near the surface did not interfere with the carbonation inside the briquette, indicating that the carbonation progressed well into the interior of the briquette.departmental bulletin pape
Charpy Absorbed Energy at Welding HAZ of Steels Used for Long Term −Effect of Multi-layer Welding−
Get PDFWelding have not been used for joining in repair/reinforcement on the existing steel bridges used for long term, because of fear of brittle fractures of steel joints. In this paper, relationship between Charpy absorbed energy of simulated HAZs of “steels used for long term” and welded conditions were investigated. As the main results, Charpy absorbed energy in CGHAZ and FGHAZ of steels manufactured in around 1930 remain small in case single-run welding. However. in case of multi-layer welding, Charpy absorbed energy in HAZ of all steels, include steels manufactured in around 1930, became large to over 70J by heating to 880℃ in last layer after maximum welding heat-input about 1350℃.departmental bulletin pape
