Falacia naturalista, falacia de composición en John Stuart Mill
Get PDFThe following article will address the criticism that states that John Stuart Mill committed the naturalistic fallacy and the fallacy of composition. This theme can be approached in two ways, one would consist of analyzing whether Mill really does not know the distinction between what is desired and what is desirable, another, if his conception of hedonism, happiness leads to the commission of the aforementioned fallacies. This last form is the main topic that will be addressed, in other words, it will briefly mention whether Mill confuses desired/desirable, is/ought, and it will be pointed out how Mill’s idea of hedonism and happiness do not lead to falling into the naturalistic fallacy nor in the fallacy of composition. In all this, education will play a valuable role.El siguiente artículo aborda la crítica que manifiesta que John Stuart Mill incurrió en la falacia naturalista y en la falacia de composición. Esta temática se puede abordar de dos formas: una consistiría en analizar si Mill realmente desconoce la distinciónentre lo deseado y lo deseable; otra sobre si su concepción de hedonismo, felicidad, conlleva la comisión de las falacias mencionadas. Esta última forma es el tema principal que se aborda; en otras palabras, se mencionará brevemente lo relativo a si Mill confunde deseado/deseable, es/debe, y se puntualiza en cómo el hedonismo y la idea de felicidad millianos no llevan a caer en la falacia naturalista ni en la falacia de composición. Mine and Mine Alone. The Particularity of the Aristotelian Substance and its Relation to the Soul
Get PDFIn this paper, we seek to develop an analysis of the Aristotelian theory of substance, specifically of the discussion about its particularity or universality. We will first review the statement of the problem as it appears in Categories. We will then take the discussion to Metaphysics, specifically book Z, where a further developed and elaborated view of the ideas presented by the philosopher can be found compared to the Organon. From there we will review the universalist and particularist views to evaluate them on their merit and try to determine which of the two turns out to be more adequate for Aristotelian ontology. Moneda y banca en Antioquia – Colombia – finales del siglo XIX
Get PDFThis article approaches some elaborations on the historical development process of the monetary and banking scenario of the Province of Antioquia at the end of the 19th century. It goes through the places of monetary scarcity, currency issuance, and the complicated networks of individual capitalists, which would mark the path of monetary and banking policy.
In this highly abstract exposition, understanding currency and banking in the case in question, beyond its functional character, helps to focus on tendencies as constitutive of social bonds. This immediately refers to the relationship between the issuance of private banknotes and the fiscal banknote. This does not arise suddenly but corresponds to a process of historical transformation of social production.En este artículo se aproximan algunas elaboraciones al proceso en desarrollo histórico del escenario monetario y bancario de la Provincia de Antioquia a finales del siglo XIX. Se hace tránsito por los lugares de la escasez monetaria, la emisión de moneda y las complicadas redes de capitalistas individuales, que marcarían la senda de la política monetaria y bancaria.
En esta exposición, en sumo grado abstracta, la comprensión de la moneda y la banca en el caso que se convoca, más allá del carácter funcional, ayuda a detenerse en las tendencias como constitutivos de los vínculos sociales. Esto remite inmediatamente a la relación entre la emisión de billetes privados y el billete fiscal. Esto no surge súbitamente, sino que corresponde a un proceso de transformación histórica de la producción social
Cuidado de enfermería a niños con infección por coronavirus: Revisión integrativa
No full textIntroduction: Nursing care of children with Covid-19 infection is a challenge for professionals, since they are the ones who remain continuously at the patient's side.
Objective: To determine the specific nursing care process that is applied to children with coronavirus infections in the hospital and extra-hospital settings, from the assessment phase to the evaluation phase.
Materials and methods: For the elaboration of the integrative review, an exhaustive search was carried out in the following databases: Scielo, Science Direct, Scopus, Virtual Health Library, Google Scholar, MEDLINE, with 17 articles being selected, in which the process of nursing care process applied to children with coronavirus infections in the hospital and outpatient setting was analyzed, from the assessment phase to the evaluation phase, including planning and execution, under a disciplinary perspective, favoring the use of strategies that keep the children and their environment protected.
Conclusion: Care from the intra- and extra-hospital environment was emphasized, guiding promotion, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation actions together with family members/caregivers or health personnel. Introducción: El cuidado de enfermería a niños con infección por Covid-19 se constituye en todo un reto para los profesionales, toda vez que son quienes permanecen de manera continua al lado del paciente.
Objetivo: Determinar el proceso de atención de enfermería específicos que se aplican a niños con infecciones por coronavirus en el ámbito hospitalario y extrahospitalario, desde la fase de valoración hasta la de evaluación.
Materiales y métodos: Para la elaboración de la revisión integrativa se efectuó búsqueda exhaustiva en las siguientes bases de datos:n Scielo, Science Direct, Scopus, Biblioteca Virtual de Salud, Google Scolar, MEDLINE, siendo seleccionados 17 artículos, en los que se analizó el proceso de atención de enfermería que se aplica a niños con infecciones por coronavirus en el ámbito hospitalario y extrahospitalario, desde la fase de valoración hasta la de evaluación, pasando por la de planeación y ejecución, bajo una perspectiva disciplinar, favoreciendo el uso estrategias que mantengan protegido al menor y su entorno.
Conclusión: Se destacó el cuidado desde el ambiente intra- y extrahospitalario, orientando las acciones de promoción, prevención, tratamiento y rehabilitación en conjunto con los familiares/cuidadores o personal de la salud.

No full textThis article aims to find the tension and complementarity relations between neoliberalism and the most relevant Protestant Christian manifestations in Latin America. It begins with a clarification of the implications and meanings that the term neoliberalism has today. Next, it describes the Latin American protestant manifestations. For the specific case of this article, two of its manifestations are questioned in detail, Pentecostalism, and neo-Pentecostalism, inquiring about their distinctive features and the values ??or moral principles they defend. Then, neo-Pentecostalism is exposed as a religious form influenced by the neoliberal, and it ends by describing the philosophical-conceptual elements of neoliberalism that can be considered close to Protestantism, Pentecostalism, and neo-Pentecostalism in such a way that the renewed force of the latter can be explained concerning the global dominance of the former.Este artículo se propone encontrar las relaciones de tensión y complementariedad entre el neoliberalismo y las manifestaciones cristianas protestantes más relevantes en Latinoamérica. Se inicia con un esclarecimiento de las implicaciones y las acepciones que tiene el término neoliberalismo en la actualidad. A continuación, se describen las principales manifestaciones protestantes latinoamericanas. Para el caso específico de este artículo, se cuestiona detalladamente por dos de sus manifestaciones, el pentecostalismo y el neopentecostalismo, indagando por sus rasgos distintivos y los valores morales que defienden. Luego, se expone el neopentecostalismo como una forma religiosa influida por lo neoliberal y se finaliza describiendo los elementos filosófico–conceptuales del neoliberalismo que pueden considerarse cercanos al protestantismo, pentecostalismo y neopentecostalismo de forma tal que la fuerza renovada de estas últimas pueda explicarse en relación con el predominio global del primero

No full textVocation, as the distinctive phenomenon of man’s being, is broken down and explained in its basic elements to elaborate a definition. At the first moment, it is used an analytical method, and at a later moment a synthetic one. As a result, vocation constitutes a form of conscious and voluntary life to which the subject is dedicated as a final goal, always inside a community and a tradition and in dialogue with both, and in its strict sense it includes talent. Works of Eduardo Nicol, Adolfo Sánchez Vázquez, and Luis Villoro are the main sources. The paper is relevant, among other reasons, by focusing on the ontological and anthropological bases of the studied phenomenon; because of the amplitude and flexibility of the definition offered, and because it takes into account the dialogical, community, and traditional dimensions of it.Se descompone y explica en sus elementos básicos el fenómeno de la vocación, en tanto distintivo del ser del hombre, con el objetivo de elaborar una definición. Elmétodo utilizado en un primer momento es analítico, y sintético en un momento posterior. La definición así producida es la siguiente: la vocación constituye una formade vida consciente y voluntaria a la que el sujeto se entrega como su fin último, siempre en el seno de una comunidad y una tradición y en diálogo con estas, y en su sentido estricto incluye el talento. Como fuentes principales se utilizan obras de Eduardo Nicol, Adolfo Sánchez Vázquez y Luis Villoro. Intelectualismo moral a la luz de Protágoras 310a–314c
No full textIn the discussion of Moral Intellectualism in the Protagoras, attention is not usuallypaid to how the narrative construction guides and complements the philosophicalargument. In this article, I analyze the Section of Hippocrates (310a–314c) and arguethat it provides a relevant guidance for the interpretation of Moral Intellectualism.In this passage, the idea of Moral Knowledge is introduced, but it is constructed as one (i) different from technical-productive knowledge, (ii) that cannot be reduced todefinitional knowledge, and, furthermore, (iii) that cannot be taught without requirea certain type of particular disposition of the learner. I argue these points using ananalysis of three moments: the distinction that Socrates introduces between professionaland general knowledge; the comparison of the sophist with the merchant; and thecontradictory decision to go see Protagoras.En la discusión sobre el intelectualismo moral en el Protágoras no se suele atender a cómo la construcción narrativa orienta y complementa la argumentación filosófica. En este artículo analizo la Sección de Hipócrates (310a–314c) y argumento que aporta orientaciones relevantes para la interpretación del intelectualismo moral. En este pasaje se introduce la idea de un conocimiento moral, pero se construye como uno (i) diferente del conocimiento técnico-productivo, (ii) que no se puede reducir a un conocimiento definicional y, además, (iii) que no puede ser enseñado sin requerir de un cierto tipo de disposición particular del aprendiz. Argumento estos puntosvaliéndome de un análisis de tres momentos: de la distinción que introduce Sócrates entre conocimiento profesional y general; de la comparación del sofista con el mercader; y de la aparentemente contradictoria decisión de ir a ver a Protágoras
Relación de patrones dermatoglíficos para el diagnóstico adecuado del cáncer: Revisión sistemática
No full textIntroduction: Currently the study of dermatoglyphic patterns or fingerprints, has allowed to recognize early the predisposition of the subjects to suffer and develop some types of cancer with important results.
Objective: To identify the fingerprint patterns that allow to adequately diagnose the predisposition to develop cancer, from the realization of an integrative systematic review of the literature.
Method: A search was carried out in databases such as: PubMed/MEDLINE, Scielo, Cochrane, ScienceDirect, Scopus and Google Scholar, using the parameters established in the PRISMA guide, which allowed the collection of information related to those studies that allowed identifying the differences in fingerprint patterns between healthy subjects and subjects with cancer, for which 19 investigations that met the established inclusion criteria were selected; They linked those studies published from 1975 to 2021, given the little evidence worked on around this diagnostic tool.
Results: Statistically significant differences in count and anatomical conformation were identified for finger patterns such as: whorls, loops and ATD angle in subjects with cancer compared to control groups.
Conclusions: Dermatoglyphia is a non-invasive, effective, and low-cost anatomical marker that allows early prediction of the possible development of cancer. Introducción: Actualmente el estudio de los patrones dermatoglíficos o huellas dactilares, ha permitido reconocer de manera precoz la predisposición de los sujetos para padecer y desarrollar algunos tipos de cáncer con resultados importantes. Objetivo: Identificar los patrones dactilares que permitan diagnosticar de manera adecuada la predisposición a desarrollar cáncer, a partir de la realización de una revisión sistemática integradora de la literatura.
Método: Se realizó una búsqueda en bases de datos como PubMed/MEDLINE, Scielo, Cochrane, ScienceDirect, Scopus y Google Scholar, empleando los parámetros establecidos en la guía PRISMA, que permitieran recopilar la información relacionada con aquellos estudios que permitieran identificar las diferencias en los patrones dactilares entre sujetos sanos y sujetos con cáncer; para lo cual se seleccionaron 19 investigaciones que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión establecidos; se vincularon aquellos estudios publicados desde 1975 a 2021, dado la poca evidencia trabajada en torno a esta herramienta diagnóstica. Resultados: Se identificaron diferencias estadísticamente significativas en el recuento y conformación anatómica para patrones dactilares como verticilos, bucles y ángulo ATD en sujetos con cáncer en comparación con grupos control. Conclusiones: La dermatoglifia es un marcador anatómico no invasivo, eficaz y de bajo costo que permite predecir de forma temprana el posible desarrollo de cáncer.
