    Peningkatan Performansi Benih Kacangan dengan Perlakuan Invigorasi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui media perlakuan invigorasi yang terbaik terhadap peningkatan performansi benih kedelai. Penelitian dilaksanakan di laboratorium Agronomi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian selama delapan minggu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen lapangan dengan pola Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dengan 4 ulangan yaitu: kontrol, abu gosok, serbuk gergaji, larutan KNO3 2% dan larutan NaCl 2%. Variabel pengamatan dalam penelitian ini adalah daya berkecambah, kecepatan tumbuh, keserempakan tumbuh, dan laju pertumbuhan kecambah. Hasil analisis keragaman menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan invigorasi memberikan pengaruh yang sangat nyata terhadap variabel daya berkecambah, kecepatan tumbuh, keserempakan tumbuh, dan laju pertumbuhan kecambah. Invigorasi yang menggunakan serbuk gergaji merupakan perlakuan terbaik dari perlakuan lainnya dilihat dari kamampuan benih untuk memulihkan integritas membran sehingga dapat memulihkan atau mengurangi kebocoran sel ketika proses imbibisi berlangsung dan mengurangi perubahan metabolik selama perkecambahan. Perlakuan serbuk gergaji telah mampu menghasilkan rerata daya berkecambah, keserempakan tumbuh, dan laju pertumbuhan kecambah tertinggi dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya

    Terdapat perubahan paradigma dalam hal cara pandang terhadap kawasan perbatasan dimana sebelumnya kawasan perbatasan dianggap sebagai bagian belakang dari negara ini, maka sekarang pemerintah menganggap kawasan perbatasan sebagai sebuah beranda depan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia. Karena itu kajian mengenai potensi lahan yang dapat dimanfaatkan petani di kawasan perbatasan kabupaten Sintang sangat penting. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji status pemanfaatan lahan di kawasan perbatasan kabupaten Sintang di tinjau dari aspek hukum, ekonomi, sosial dan budaya; dan melakukan identifikasi potensi pemanfaatan lahan untuk optimalisasi pertanian/perkebunan di wilayah perbatasan kabupaten Sintang. Metode penelitian dilaksanakan dalam 5 tahapan: persiapan, survei pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder, pengolahan dan analisis data (status lahan, potensi dan kesesuaian lahan) serta penyajian hasil (laporan dan peta). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lahan dengan Status Fungsi Kawasan APL yang berpotensi untuk diusahakan dan dimanfaatkan bagi pengembangan komoditas pertanian seluas 22.887,98 Ha dan harus dikonservasi seluas 6.537,01 Ha dan komoditas perkebunan yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan adalah tanaman Kare

    Activity and effectiveness of insecticide mixtures (thiodicarb and triflumuron) against physics caterpillar pests Metisa plana on oil palm plantation. The objectives of this study were to evaluate the joint action of thiodicarb and triflumuron insecticides in the laboratory, and to determine their effectiveness in supressing population of M. plana in the field. The mortality bioassays were conducted by a spraying method. The results showed that the inseticide mixtures between thiodicarb and triflumuron possessed a sinergistict activity against M. plana larvae with insecticide combination index of 0.49%. Iinsecticide mixtures at a range dose of 250 - 1250 ml/ha spraying on oil palm planst effectively suppressed population of M. plana larvae

    Marine and Coastal Area which + 28 % of total areas in Kubu Raya Distric has potentially profit areas for palawija crops, e.a: corn, soybeans, cassavas, and sweet potatoes crops. but not yet to be specified in local uniqueness land characteristics to reach more larger productivity. These research is proposed to its clustering through Spatial Analysis with GIS, Principal Component Analysis (PCA). About 3 indexes from 13 land characteristics has been clustered, (1) K, Na, Ca, Mg and Base Saturation, have positive correlation (coefficient determination = 0,92) to corn and soybean crops productivity. (2) Cation Exchange Capacity and Silt Fractions have negative correlation (coefficient determination = 0,92) to cassava productivity.     Studi Hubungan Karakteristik Tipologi Lahan yang Digunakan terhadap Kualitas Hasil Jeruk Siem (Citrus nobilis var. microcarpa) di Kabupaten Sambas

    The purpose of this research was to know the characteristic relationship of the land typology that has been used towards the quality of jeruk siem (Citrus nobilis var. microcarpa) at Sambas Regency. This research was performed in Sambas Regency at each of the jeruks society farm management and also from the private sector. This research was done by field survey and direct observation towards soil sample and plant based on the characteristic and cultivation system of jeruk siam. The location of soil sample and plant was the field sample in the Tebas Kuala, Tebas Sungai, Mekar Sekuntum, Segedong, Sempalai, dan Seberkat. The sample was divided into three sample based on the cultivation system and the land typology that were consists of land typology 1 with the farmer technology package, land typology 2 with the advised technology package and land typology 3 with advised technology. The characteristic of the land typology was connected to the yield of the quality of the jeruk siem. The good land characteristic, whereas the macro nutrient content and micro that available for the plant and having the good land texture, so that the nutrient that contented in the soil cannot be so easily loss by the development of the fruit that propped by the content of the equivalent and adequately nutrient availability by the fertilizer. From the result of the research the best land was the land typology 2 with the advised technology in Mekar Sekuntum Kec. Tebas, that can be seen from the whole of the observe variable in the research with the fruit diameter was 5.85 mm, the weight of fruit was 133,33 g, the weight of juice was 60.63 g, the thick epidermis was 0.23 mm, the weight of epidermis was 21.26 g, water condense of the fruit was 46.88% and the vitamin C was 50,40 mg
