Easy Japanese for Learning Support for Children Connected to Foreign Countries : In Reference to the Volunteers’ Attitudes toward "Easy Japanese" in a Learning Support Class
application/pdfSince the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995, the need for "easy Japanese" that is readily comprehensible to foreigners has been recognized. The use of "easy Japanese" is also considered important to support the learning of children connected to foreign countries with inadequate Japanese language skills. However, what kind of "easy Japanese" is specifically necessary for them has not been fully examined. Therefore, I asked volunteers participating in a learning support class to exchange opinions on "easy Japanese" during a class review meeting. As a result of analyzing and discussing the contents of the exchanges, it became clear that in order to support the learning of children connected to foreign countries, it is important to have different kinds of "easy Japanese" that creates a comfortable environment for children to learn, that is appropriate for each level of children’s development, and that supports children’s learning. In addition, all of these are related to each other, and mother tongues and other languages need to be respected.論説(Articles)departmental bulletin pape
The study of Chinese words in Michizane's "Kanke Bunso", "Kanke Koushu" (the fourth volume: the reduplications which express the crying sounds '
This article deals with the four words of '嗷嗷,' '咬咬,' '喃喃,' '嘖嘖,' which are Chinese words found in “Kanke Bunso” and “Kanke Koushu”. The purpose of this book is to examine the interpretation of Michizane’s works in light of the usage in China, including whether there is a Japanese-style aspect unique to Japan. As a result of the investigation, it was confirmed that these four words were used with correct meanings in accordance with the usage in China. As for '喃喃,' '嘖嘖,' in the poem in "Kanke Koushu", Hisao Kawaguchi's annotations on the Taikei(old edition ), etc, state that 'noisy,' and the interpretation of "Daikanwa Jiten" (second edition) has the same meaning. However, when we checked the examples of poems in the Tang Dynasty in China, we found that some poems were simply used as birdsong without the meaning of 'noisy,' and it is highly possible that the use of "Kanke Koushu" was used in a sense close to this Chinese example. It can be said that it is necessary to be careful in interpreting the words in a poem, and it is an example that shows the richness of Michizane's usage of vocabulary.departmental bulletin pape
