    STRATEGI PEMASARAN CV DIANA PHON BOGOR DENGAN PENDEKATAN STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT STRATEGY

    CV Diana Phon Bogor is a small business in trading sector by selling various kinds of agricultural productssuch as pesticides, fertilizers, plant seeds, pots, and agricultural tools. Sales of CV Diana Phon Bogor in the last three years (2014-2016) have been decreased, it needs a new and right strategy to increase the sales. The purpose of this research was to design a marketing strategy for CV Diana Phon, Bogor. This research used the stakeholder engagement strategy method. Stakeholder engagement strategy sees involvement between stakeholders, in this case CV Diana Phon Bogor with suppliers and consumers. This research used descriptive approach that interviewed the owner and used questionnaire for suppliers and consumers. Stakeholder analysis results showed that 66.7% of suppliers were in engage category and 76.7% of consumers were in engage category. This showed that the stakeholders associated with CV Diana Phon Bogor were loyal. The design of marketing strategy undertaken was to maintain good relationships with stakeholders, in this case suppliers and consumers.Keyword: engagement, marketing, stakeholder, starteg

    KARAKTERISTIK SORPSI ISOTERMIS PADA APLIKASI SILIKA (SiO2) SEBAGAI ANTICAKING AGENT TEPUNG BUMBU

    Silica dioxide is one of anticacking agent as food additive. It can be encountered in nature, especially from rice husk ash waste. The objective of this study was to obtain rice husk-based silica and find out its characteristics, then apply it in seasoned flour to examine its characteristics during the storage period based on sorption isotherm. This research consisted of two stages. The first stage was silica isolation from rice husk, it was started by washing rice husk using 5% citric acid as pre-treatment followed by 800oC combustion for 30 minutes, then continued by analyzing the characteristics of both rice husk-based silica and synthetic silica as a comparison. Last stage was formulating seasoned flour with 0.5% and 1% both rice husk-based silica and synthetic silica as anticacking agent, followed by observing the phenomenon during storage period to illustrate its sorption isotherm curve. Characterizations using XRD analysis showed both synthetic silica and rice husk-based silica hadamorphous structure. SEM-EDX analysis showed that there were 25.52% elements of C in rice husk-based silica and 10.23% of C and 1.29% of N formed in synthetic silica. Addition of both rice husk-based and synthetic silica onto seasoned flour indicated the occurrence increasing number of critical and equilibrium moisture content, water activity, and ash content. Based on characteristic of sorption isotherm curve, the 1% addition of rice husk-based silica on seasoned flour formulation gave optimum number of primary, secondary, and tertiary boundary water fractionsof 7.35%, 20.04%, 70.18%,respectively.Keywords: anticaking agent, rice husk, silica, silica dioxide and synthetic silic

    The packaging design elements that have appeal and take into account consumers\u27 Kansei are crucial in introducing new products and influencing purchasing decisions. Integration of packaging design elements to produce a certain character has a combination and complexity, but can produce unequal perception. To reduce the emergence of perceptual ambiguity, then in the design process requires a measurable and standard model. The purpose of research were to design the attributes and sub elements and to make the decision rules so that the knowledge obtained underlying consumer expression. This research used a combination of Business Process Model Notation method to explain activity and data flow, Relief and Principle Component Analysis method to select design attributes and packaging selection, and Bayes Rough Set method to get the combination of decision rule. The results obtained represented the design elements and packaging samples such as size, colour, letter writing, and packaging bottle grouping as a means of reducing the number of samples. The Kansei expression of seriously was explained by a combination of text writing products that were not legibility, small font size, single color on the text, the dominant color of brown labels, black, green and no illustration of the image. The Kansei expression of eye cathing was explained by the combination of the design attributes of the sharpness of the colour, the text of the product, the text size of the product, the product text colour and the dominant colour, and the water illustration. The ergonomic aspect of bottled beverage design was that if it has a combination of high-element proportional bottles, it has a curved, low bottle cap, and a small bottle bottom diameter.Keywords: bayes rough set, design element,  decision rule, kanse

    POTENSI AGROINDUSTRI BERBASIS KELAPA UNTUK PEMBERDAYAAN EKONOMI MASYARAKAT DI KABUPATEN PANGANDARAN - JAWA BARAT

    Pangandaran district is a district that has the third largest coconut tree plantation area in West Java, and coconut is made as one of the potential regional prime commodities. This research objective was to discover four aspects on coconut agroindustry, namely the availability of raw material, distribution, product’s prospective, and economic empowerment of society. The method used in this research was descriptive method, while survey and questionnaire spreading were used. To find out the potential availability of raw materials, secondary data were used,which were proceeded with forecasting moving average method.  Spreading of coconut agroindustry was mapped for several sub-districts, according to primary or secondary data. Determination of prospective product were done by Technique for Order Performance of Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS).  Potential of economic empowerment was obtained by analysis of profit cost ratio. Refer to the research results, coconut agroindustry had big potential in empowerment of the social economy. This potency can be seen by the amount of availability and certainty of coconut as raw material, the quality of the resulting coconut, availability of human resources, breadth of market section, infrastructure and means of transportation, supporting by local people, then government policy that supporting in growth and development of coconut agroindustry. The coconut agroindustry was spread in a whole sub-disctrict, and the most of it was located in Cimerak Sub-District.     Halal certification is a form of moslem consumer protection to solve halal problems. Acceleration of the submission process depends on accuration and completeness of the proposed requirements document. This research objective was to accelerate the registration process of halal certification, especially on data entry phase of materials which applied into decision support system. Decision support system can be used to determining the supporting documents of materials types. Input to the decision support system were names of materials from the products to be certified. The decision support output came from integration of decision tree analysis with J48 model and critical points of materials which resulted 43 rules. The output from this system consisted of flow process diagram, technical specifications, COA (Certificate of Analysis) or material purchase documents, halal certificate, and blank document.     Magetan district at East Java is one of local government that support their farmer to participate in forward auction market in order to expand its marketing network. The implementation of the commodity auction market is divided into three main processes, i.e. pre-auction, auction, and post-auction. Problem mapping was done by spreading questionnaires on 37 respondents, interviews in related government officer, and benchmarking on commodity auction organizers. There are many problems faced by farmer and forward auction market organizer. Government that have the role of facilitator and catalyst need to carry out such some improvement activities to increase the efficiency of the commodity distribution. However, the local government need a tool to determine fundal location for facilitating farmer and actionorganizer. In this study, we solvedtheproblem with approaches: the initialidentification, mappingproblems; the hypothesis of suggestion of improvement; model development; and finally makes verification and validation using expert justification. This article aimed to formulate alternative solutions to overcome problems in the implementation of the auction market and formulate a model of government fund allocation. Goal programming was developed to solve problems with multiobjective functions. The model used four performance criteria, i.e.risk level, incentive value given by government, benefit value, andfarmer level skill. The results showedthat the model was able to provide optimal fund allocation by minimizing the level of risk and incentive value and maximizing the value of the benefits and skills of farmers.Keywords: commodity auction market, fund allocation, goal programmin

    Rumah Kedelai Grobogan (RKG) focuses on the production and dissemination of local soybean Grobogan varieties. One of its business units, Rumah Tempe, produces hygienic tempe from soybean Grobogan varieties. It has good prospect and is expected to be the driver of the development of RKG. The development of Rumah Tempe is expected to increase the use of the Grobogan varieties and improve RKG performance. This research aims to determine an appropriate strategy for Rumah Tempe. This research focuses on four stages: (1) identifying factors influencing Rumah Tempe’s business development, (2) determining and selecting criteria of business development, (3) determining alternatives for business development, (4) selecting the most preferred strategy for Rumah Tempe’s business development. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was conducted to prioritize the preferred strategy. The results show the criteria were weighted as follows: (1) New product development (0.1022), (2) Product quality (0.2747), (3) Continuity product availability (0.2938) and (4) Customer satisfaction (0.3293). Customer satisfaction is the most prioritized criteria in Rumah Tempe’s business development. Alternative strategy isclassified into four types: prospector strategy, defender strategy, analyzer strategy, and reactor strategy.     KARAKTERISTIK PADATAN ANAEROBIK HASIL PENGELOLAAN TERINTEGRASI SAMPAH KOTA SEBAGAI PUPUK ORGANIK

    The issue of municipal waste is a serious problem that threatens environmental sustainability. One of the efforts to overcome this problem is integrated city waste management in the bioreactor. Integrated management leaves a problem, namely the presence of waste in the form of anaerobic solids. The study aimed to analyze the waste content of anaerobic solids in municipal waste in bioreactors and the potential use as organic fertilizer. The method used in the study was analyzing anaerobic solid waste samples from 5 bioreactors containing various sizes of municipal wastes. Sampling by opening the control hole in the middle part of the bioreactor were A: slury, B: 1-3 cm, C: 4-6 cm, D: 7-9 cm, E: without treatment. The sampleswere packed using plastics, then analyzed in laboratory. Observations included analysis of the density of anaerobic solids during the 150-day conversion process in the laboratory. Parameters analyzed included pH, C/N ratio, total solid (TS), volatilesolid (VS), moisture content, nitrite (NO2-N), temperature, and ash content. The results showed that the conversion of anaerobic solids in all sizes of municipal waste in bioreactors showed differences and decreased values indicated by C/N ratio, total solid, volatile solid, nitrite (NO2-N), and moisture content, while ash content increasedand temperature of the material fluctuate during the bio-conversion process.     KINERJA MICROBIAL FUEL CELLS PADA PENGOLAHAN LIMBAH CAIR PEMINDANGAN DENGAN MEMBRAN SEPARATOR CAMPURAN POLIMER KITOSAN/PVA

    Separator attched to MFC system can reduce the distance between cathode and anode and limit oxygen penetration to anode chamber. The use of Chitosan/polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) mixture polymer as membrane separator was expected to have ability to increase electron recovery from the substrate. The objectives of this research were to increase the standard quality of wastewater of salted boiled fish processing and to increase bioelectricity generation, through the membrane separator adding to MFC system. Separator polymer was made by blending 2% chitosan and 5% PVA solution, in different ratio of chitosan (K) and PVA (P) at 2:3 (K2P3), 1:1 (K1P1), 3:2 (K3P2), and without separator. The study was carried out to measure electricity generated and to analyse of BOD, COD and TAN of the wastewater.  The K2P3 treatment showed the highest electricity generation with average voltage of 0.50±0.06 V, maximum current density 0,29 mA/cm2, and  maximum power density  15.40 mW/cm2. The reduction of COD showed insignificantly different among treatments, but the reduction of BOD and TAN values showed significantly different. The BOD value reduced to56.54% in K2P3 treatment and the TAN value reduced to 92.73% in K1P1 treatment.Keywords : chitosan, microbial fuel cell, polyvinil alcohol, separato

    MODEL OPTIMASI KAPASITAS INDUSTRI PADA KLASTER INDUSTRI HILIR KELAPA SAWIT DI KAWASAN INDUSTRI SEI MANGKEI

    Palm oil industrial cluster development in Sei Mangkei is a step to realize the downstream programme, increase the added value and competitiveness through integrated management. To optimize the development, it is necessary to make the planning starting from the selection of potential industries, as well as calculate how optimal capacity, with the availability of raw materials as constraints.  The selection of products is done with the exponential comparison method with the result that industrial cooking oil, margarine, basic oleo chemicals, surfactants, biodiesel, industrial soap, liquid soap, shampoo and detergents, as well as biogas and animal feed were potential for development in the industrial park. The goal programming analysis was performed to determine the optimal industrial  capacity that provide maximum benefit and labour, and minimal waste produces. Based on the optimization analysis, the profits target was achieved and the largest profits derived from basic oleochemical industry, margarine, cooking oil, and soap bars. While labour targets were not achieved, because labour absorption  less than 80% of the target. The target of waste was achieved,  and the largest proportion of liquid waste was produced by cooking oil and basic oleochemicals industry. This model is expected to illustrate the capacity calculation model of industry in other cluster development.Keywords: goal programming, industrial park, optimization, palm oil industrial cluster
