No full textThe Biblioteche nelle Scuole (School Libraries) project is among the measures adopted together by the Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione (Public Education Department) and the Dipartimento dell'Innovazione Tecnologica (Technological Innovation Department), with the collaboration of the Istituto Centrale per il Catalogo Unico (Central Institute for the Unique Catalogue) and the Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali (Department of Cultural Assets and Activities). The purpose of the project is to integrate school libraries into the National Librarian System. CILEA received the task, among the others, of organising and managing the education. The approach adopted for the didactic was one of blended learning with e-learning alternated with class learning with practical exercises. The blended learning approach had the purpose of creating and activating an on-line professional community of the people working in school library, to be used as a working and sharing environment.Il progetto Biblioteche nelle Scuole si inserisce tra le misure congiunte del Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione (MPI) e del Dipartimento dell'Innovazione Tecnologica (DIT), con la collaborazione dell'Istituto Centrale per il Catalogo Unico (ICCU) e del Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali (MiBAC). Scopo del progetto è integrare le biblioteche scolastiche nel Servizio Bibliotecario Nazionale (SBN). Al CILEA è stata affidata, tra l’altro, l’organizzazione e la gestione delle attività formative. Per la didattica è stato adottato un approccio in “blended” learning con sessioni di attività in modalità e-learning alternate a studio e incontri in presenza con esercitazioni pratiche in aula. L’approccio in blended learning ha avuto anche come obiettivo la creazione e l’attivazione di una comunità professionale online degli operatori delle biblioteche scolastiche intesa come area di lavoro e scambio

No full textThe help within the Biblioteche nelle Scuole project (which aims at integrating school libraries into the Servizio bibliotecario Nazionale) has become remarkably important. A complete assistance system has constantly moni-tored and helped all the participants. Such system is able to answer any request, thanks to the cooperation of the three organising consortia (CILEA, CASPUR, CINECA), the Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione and other experts. The help desk was structured into several addresses, according to specific topics, all reachable from a unified por-tal.L’assistenza nell’ambito del progetto Biblioteche nelle Scuole (il cui scopo è di integrare le biblioteche scolastiche nel Servizio Bibliotecario Nazionale) ha assunto un notevole rilievo. Tutti i partecipanti sono stati costantemente seguiti e accompagnati durante lo svolgimento del progetto da un sistema completo di assistenza pronto a rispon-dere alle più svariate esigenze, grazie anche alla cooperazione tra i tre consorzi organizzatori (CILEA, CASPUR, CINECA), il Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione e esperti delle materie. L’help desk è stato strutturato in più indi-rizzi, secondo tematiche specifiche, tutti raggiungibili da un unico sportello unificato

No full textCILEA offers to users and whoever may be interested the experience of its experts in software developing and parallel computing with the aim of spreading the knowledge and the techniques suitable to realize robust and efficient computing programs.Ricercatori e progettisti si avvalgono, per supportare le proprie idee e realizzare i progetti più avanzati, di codici applicativi, spesso commerciali, altre volte di carattere più accademico, che tuttavia non sono sufficienti, assai difficilmente potrebbero, ad esaurire le svariate esigenze di calcolo di tutte le aree di ricerca ed applicative. Ricercatori e tecnici esigenti necessariamente quindi utilizzano strumenti di sviluppo software per convertire le proprie esigenze di calcolo in numeri o grafici che concretizzino i concetti e le idee in via di realizzazione. Il CILEA mette a disposizione dell’utenza, ma più in generale di tutti quanti sono interessati, l’esperienza dei propri esperti in programmazione e calcolo parallelo per diffondere le conoscenze e le tecniche necessarie per realizzare codici di calcolo affidabili ed efficienti

No full textPhase Change Memories (PCM) have been introduced in the late 60s and are based on the phase transition of a chalcogenide alloy, typically Ge2Sb2Te5 (GST). The crystalline and amorphous phases involved in the transition, present well differentiated electric resistivity values and optical properties. Nowadays, the PCM appear as the most promising solution for data storage, not only for the market of non volatile memories in the post-Flash era, but also as future universal memories able to cover both DRAM and SRAM applications. The structure of GST, in the two phases of most relevant technological interest, has not been uniquely defined yet. The present work is thus aimed at modelling the relationships between geometrical and electronic structure of the GST from first principles. This study is part of a joined project 1 between Politecnico di Milano, Dipartimento di Elettronica e Informazione, and CNR-ISTM, funded by Fondazione CARIPLO, and of a PRIN project 2 involving qualified researchers in the field of non-volatile technologies and exploiting the support by STMicroelectronics which will realize the integrated structures needed to develop the projected activities
