    Chronic bronchitis is a disease that attacks the respiratory tract and is one of the dangerous diseases that can cause death in the world. This study builds a mathematical model of airflow velocity in the bronchi due to chronic bronchitis which is influenced by mucus thickness and initial velocity. The type of research used is simulation research to find a picture of a simple system that will be manipulated or controlled to get an effect similar to the actual situation. The mathematical model is built on the reduction of the momentum equation and the mass continuity equation which is solved using the finite volume method and the QUICK discretization technique. The volume method is used because the fluid flow studied is O2 gas which is classified as unstructured. So by using the volume method, it will be easier to discretize to determine the values ​​that will be sought in the discretization process

    Ethnomatematics is a science used to understand how mathematics is adapted from a culture. The purpose of this study is to dig ethnomatematics on the making of batik tulis Kangkung Setingkes and create a student worksheet in accordance with the curriculum 2013. This type of research is qualitative with ethnographic approaches. The subject in this study amounted to seven people. Data Collection using observation methods, interviews, and documentation. Data collection results are analyzed descriptively. Based on the analysis of data from the observation and interviews, obtained ethnomatematics in the process of making batik in the Setingkes Kangkung. The meaning of Ethnomatematics is the concept of algebraic and geometric concepts. Algebraic concepts include counting, measuring, and masing and geometry concepts, such as point, line, angle, construction, congruation, and Geometry transformation (translation, rotation, reflection, dilation). Ethnomatematics in this study were made as student worksheets for class VII of comparative material and the XI class of geometry transformation material

    Ethnomathematics is an activity carried out by a group of cultures where they are unaware that there is a basic application or concept of mathematics in it. Learning mathematics needs an approach that is able to connect mathematics with everyday culture. One of the cultures possessed by Indonesia is batik art. Batik Sekar Jagad Blambangan is a typical batik in Banyuwangi. This research aimss to describe the results of ethnomathematics exploration of Batik Sekar Jagad Blambangan and make student teaching materials student worksheet especially for grade XI Senior  High School with geometry transformation material. This study used qualitative  research with an ethnographic approach. The subjects are 2 craftsmen at Godho Batik house production in Banyuwangi. Data were collected by using observation, interview, and documentation. The result of this study indicates the existence of ethnomathematics at Batik Sekar Jagad Blambangan .There are some geometry concepts or elements found, such as: points, lines, angles, 2D shapes, congruence and geometric transformations

    PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF ONLINE MENGGUNAKAN EASYCLASS BERBANTUAN GEOGEBRA MATERI PROGRAM LINIER

    This development research produces online interactive learning media using GeoGebra-assisted linear programming Easyclass. The purpose of this study is to describe the process and results of developing interactive online learning media using GeoGebra-assisted Easyclass linear program material. Research using the 4-D Thiagarajan model. The study was conducted at MAN 2 Jember, followed by 24 students of class XI IPA 4. The results showed a correlation value of 0.917 so that the media was declared valid with a very high category. Practicality was analyzed based on a student response questionnaire showing a percentage of 99% so that it was declared practical with excellent criteria. The effectiveness was analyzed based on the test scores of student learning outcomes after using instructional media obtained a percentage of 88% of the number of students who scored more than 75 which were categorized very well. Based on the results of data analysis, online interactive learning media using Easyclass-assisted GeoGebra linear program material meets the criteria of validity, practicality and effectiveness so that the media can be used in carrying out learning activities.     This study aims to explore anything ethnomatematics related to woodwork in Tutul Village, Jember. Woodcraft is a craft made from wood. This type of research is a study using a qualitative approach with ethnographic design. Research subjects in this study were craftsmen and owners of "Ara Collections" wood production houses. In this study the object is focused on bracelets, necklaces, and keeping. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that wood crafts have mathematical elements. The mathematical elements found are ball, tube, cube, integrated cone, rectangular flat, circle, parabolic, ellipsoid, hyperbole, hyperbole, geometric patterns, reflection, dilation, and congruence and concordance.     Ethnomatematics is the science of mathematics practiced by a cultural group where the society has unconsciously applied the concept of mathematics. The purpose of this study is to describe ethnomatemics in the activity of making tobacco motifs and to produce test packages. This type of research is a qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. There are three subjects in this study, S1 as the maker of patterns / designs, color locking, and "nglorod", S2 as a dyeing and coloring, and S3 as the maker of batik cap. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. This research is focused on the tobacco making batik activity. The results of this study indicate the existence of ethnomatematics which includes activities: counting, measuring, and designing.     This research aims to determine how to improve the quality of student learning outcomes in mathematics grade 1 arithmetic operating materials by applying the techniques of mind mapping in SDN Kepatihan 05 Jember. This research is a classroom action research with the Hopkins cycle design. The research approach used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects were 30 students of grade 1 SDN 5 Kepatihan Jember. This research consists of four stages: planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, tests, field notes and documentation. The results obtained are student learning outcomes 71.85 in the first cycle increased to 95.55 in the third cycle during the study. The conclusion of this study is the application of the Mind Mapping learning method can significantly improve the quality of learning outcomes in the count operations material each cycle

    KEMAMPUAN VISUAL SPASIAL SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL PISA KONTEN SHAPE AND SPACE BERDASARKAN GAYA BELAJAR

    This study aims to describe students' spatial-visual ability in solving PISA questions in shape and space content based on visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. This type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Subjects in the study were six students from Class X MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 2 Tanggul consisting of two students from each of the visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. The data collection methods used were questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The instruments used in this study were learning style questionnaires, shape and space content PISA test questions, and interview guidelines. The results showed that the achievement of the characteristics of the sixth spatial-visual abilities of the subjects differed. Students with a visual learning style can meet the characteristics of pattern search, conceptualization, problem-solving, and imagination in full. Students with an auditory learning style can meet the characteristics of conceptualization, problem-solving, and imagination completely but are unable to meet the characteristics of pattern search. Students with kinesthetic learning styles meet the characteristics of problem solving and imagination but are unable to meet indicators on the characteristics of pattern search and conceptualization. This can be seen from the results of solving the questions given and interviews conducted on the research subjects.     The problem-solving profile is a general description of the activities of solving mathematical problems carried out by students using the five stages of IDEAL model problem solving namely identifying problems, defining problems, finding solutions, implementing strategies, and reviewing and evaluating their effects. This becomes interesting when it is associated with mathematical abilities. This study aims to describe the profile of students with high mathematical ability in solving questions about the subject of Social Arithmetic. This type of research is qualitative research. Students with high mathematical ability were given two problem-solving test questions, then interviews were conducted to find out more in the process of solving them. The results obtained are students with high mathematical ability able to meet all the indicators of each stage of solving the IDEAL model. This can be seen from the results of the work provided and interviews conducted by researchers against these students

    Geometry is one of the material in mathematics that is studied by students. In measuring students' geometry abilities, one of the efforts can use van Hiele's theory. This research is a descriptive study with the subject of the research is grade IX D students of SMP Negeri 2 Jember. The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics ofthinking geometry students'at the level of visualization, analysis, and informal deduction. Research subjects were 5 students with 2 students at the visualization level, 2 students at the analysis level, and 1 student at the level informal deduction. The results of this study indicate that (1) Visualization subjects can identify, classify, compare and determine the types ofshapes quadrilateralbased on their visual appearance and can draw with labeling simple. (2) The subject of analysis can identify, analyze, classify, define and compare quadrilateral shapes according to the relationship between their properties. (3) The subject of informal deduction can define and compareshapes quadrilateralby looking at the relationship between quadrilateral shape
